The Miramare is a lovely hotel well situated in limassol. The people who run this hotel are absolutely brilliant to there guests. Nothing is to much trouble for them from management to cleaners. Loved the greeting when we arrived 11.30 at night with a cold flannel to cool our face a welcome glass of champagne then get to our room to find d bottle of wine, water, breads, platter of meat, cheese and salad.Good start to our holiday.breakfast and lunch very enjoyable with a wide variety of foods. At dinner in was always lovely to be greeted by 2 or 3 girls smartly dressed in uniform with a Big smile on there face saying would you like to sit inside or outside or the redroom which we did most nights ( feel very special in the Red Room ).Would be unfair to mention names of staff who made our holiday special because they all do there bit so a Very Big Thank You To All.Look forward to returning in the near future.

Stayed at this hotel for 10 days with my husband and daughter. After a delayed flight and arriving at 2 a.m in the morning it was a relief to have a quick and efficient check in - no lengthy form filling and we were quickly up to our room. Having read reviews on this hotel we had a fair idea of what to expect with room standards , complimentary wine /food platter on arrival etc and it was just as other reviewers have stated , so no disappointments there. We had booked a seaview room and were delighted with our allocation as it was high up and towards the quieter end. The room was big enough for 3 people and although it lacked some small touches e.g. tea/coffee , fluffly towels, some more plug sockets, use of the fridge, it was comfortable enough and met the most important needs such as a good night's sleep.

The staff at this hotel are simply outstanding . Nothing is too much trouble for them and they were all happy and friendly despite working some long hours. Food can be an issue for us as our daughter has egg and nut allergies. The hotel were informed of this and we have never known a hotel to take this so seriously ; we even had to sign paperwork they had prepared to state they would ensure no harmful ingredients would be used in her food. The staff are obviously well trained to respond to situations like this and she had meals personally prepared for her by the head and executive chefs. The restaurant staff were also brilliant, especially Marios ( restaurant manager ), Christopher, Christina and Andreas who all looked after us so well. We also want to mention Maria as she was always around and about ensuring everyone was happy and well looked after ; she does an excellent job . The bar staff are also very friendly and happy to help; we had some good service and fun especially from Peter.

We were invited to the private barbeque dinner which was very nice and a pleasant change from dining in the main restaurant. We were also lucky enough to dine in the Red Room which is a smaller, quieter area off the main restaurant and has more personal service. There is also the option of dining a la carte here. The food standards are very high. There is good variety at all mealtimes and enough to suit a range of tastes. We all came back from holiday a few pounds heavier ; food portions are very generous in Cyprus.

We enjoyed two evenings in particular, Paul Thomas the magician was brilliant and the acrobats /fire artists were also excellent. The entertainment area is a little small and fills up quickly so finding somewhere to sit can be tricky. On the evening the acrobats/ fire artists were performing the show was moved nearer to the pool due to needing a larger space ( safety ) and we were able to watch the show from the balcony of our room . Much better as we got to see everything. Entertainment on other nights consists of dancing and music. There are enough bars for everyone's taste. The Koi bar is good if you like sport and is fitted with large TV screens and comfy sofas.

Both pools are well looked after and there are plenty of sun loungers although if you want a prime spot then you have to play the game of getting up early. We stayed in another hotel in Cyprus last year which has a sun bed allocation system and this does work very well ; however the attendants at the Miramare are very helpful and will move sunbeds and umbrellas if you need them. Don't try putting a sunbed on the grass however, this is not allowed . Security is present as is a lifeguard in the children's pool area. There aren't many toilets so if you use the adult pool you have to go into the main building. This is regularly cleaned and spotless . There are showers at the pool side , especially useful if you've been on the beach.

We stayed at this hotel because we have friends who live near Limassol and it would be easy for us to meet up with them. The hotel were good enough to extend their hospitality to them when they came to visit us one day . This was very important to us and is one of the factors that determines whether we go back to a hotel again. Limassol is commercial , but the hotel location is in a quiet area and convenient for different tourist spots and there are taxis outside the hotel which make getting around quite easy. If you have children Fasouri waterpark is a must and a brilliant day but ensure that your costumes are the non accident variety .

We would be happy to use this hotel again as we had a relaxing holiday which met all our expectations and we were so well looked after. The staff were the outstanding feature for us and without them this would just be an ordinary hotel.

Room Tip: Seaview rooms on the fourth or fifth floor give an amazing view .

We have recently returned from a week’s stay at the Atlantica Miramare Beach hotel in Limassol (travelling with Thomsons, 6th – 13th August) and we cannot praise this hotel enough!

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the manager, provided with cold towels to refresh ourselves and a glass of champagne. The hotel is beautifully decorated as was our room. We were invited to a welcome barbeque on the Thursday evening where we were met by the management of the hotel and treated to an absolutely delicious meal.

Facilities

We spent the majority of our time at the Adults Only pool which was really peaceful and great for a couple on honeymoon without children. Some of the other guests unfortunately try to flout these rules and bring their children to this pool but it is very well policed by the staff who quickly redirect them to the other swimming pool (which has a swim up bar).

We used the Il Mara Spa a few times for massages and facials. The treatments were so relaxing and it was great to be pampered in such relaxing and tranquil surroundings.

There is a jewellery shop and souvenir shop inside the hotel as well as shops and a supermarket within walking distance. There is also a taxi rank directly opposite the hotel if you did want to venture out (we didn’t!).

Food and Drink

The food is absolutely delicious! The Thalassa Buffet restaurant offers a huge variety of food and there was a different theme every night e.g. Asian, Italian etc. In the evening, we chose to eat our dinner in the adults-only restaurant ‘The Red Room’ which is exquisitely decorated. We would then enjoy drinks at the pool bar as well as the adults-only Koi Bar. The evening entertainment was varied and in particular the comedy magician Paul Thomas who was very good!

Staff

What sets this hotel apart is the incredible customer service – nothing is ever too much trouble and from the second you arrive, all of the staff work tirelessly to ensure your stay is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Even housekeeping knock on your door to check you are happy with the cleanliness of your room and then give you sweets! We would like to particularly mention and thank Maria (Guest Relations manager) and Johanna (one of the ‘Animators’ who held the Zumba class!). When we had checked out, Maria presented us with a packed lunch for the journey home (compliments of the management). All these little touches make for a really special experience at this hotel.

In closing, we would like to thank everyone at the Atlantica Miramare Beach Hotel for giving us a wonderful honeymoon. This is a hotel we plan to return to again as it would be great for a family or group holiday as well as for couples.

We were at Miramare June 2013, and we were pleased with hotel. Rooms are normally equipped and room service works ok. Pool area is clean and sun beds were availabe in the morning. Service in restaurants were friendly and quick!
Price level in Limassol is very expensive now a days, and that shows also in hotel.
Personally I think that there re too many russians also. Their behaviour is bad, and that affects the atmosphere in hotel. Location is no longer good, because the old turist area is no longer there. It has moved closer to city central.

Room Tip: Views to sea are great, but also moise from restaurant and pool is bigger.

Have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Fabulous Atlantica Miramare Beach Hotel. We arrived late on a Sunday evening to a warm reception and a glass of chilled champagne, fresh fruit, platter of food and bottle of red wine in our room. We had an amazing room with sea view, which was beautiful. The staff really know how to look after you and would go out of their way to help you. From the lovely Cristos and his amazing bar staff down to the housekeepers who cleaned the rooms, we were made to feel very welcome. We have stayed at many All Inclusive hotels in the past, but this one far exceeded our expectations. Food in the Restaurant was varied with plenty of choice. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, but even if there were none available I am sure that the pool attendants would have no problem in finding one (whilst by the pool, I overheard an attendant ask a lady if she had a bed,if not he said he would arrange one for her). Plenty of taxis outside the hotel and a very good local bus service which runs to Limassol old town. We paid 8 euros for a taxi to the Port/Old Town in Limassol and had a fab lunch at the Mediterranean Restaurant. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable Holiday we have had in a long time, and was mainly down to the Brilliant Staff at the Miramare. We didn't want to leave, and cant wait to return. We are already talking about returning next year. Cant wait!!!
