Spent a fantastic 10 days at the Atlantica from 5th Sept 2012, on an All inclusive basis. After having stayed in other Atlantica hotels, this one does the chain justice. The staff are all friendly and we were given a free room upgrade to the Limonia suite, which included a large lounge area, enormous bedroom and our own whirlpool on the balcony, which we made good use of.
The food was fantastic with a great variety and selection of food available. The staff were polite and your table cleared away quickly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Entertainment was very good, with the two Laurens doing a superb job. The resident duo, Dreem, unlike other reviews, we thought were very good, with a repetoire that covered all tastes of music.
The pool area was very clean, with sunbeds available all day. The poolside bar was well stocked and a poolside drinks service was available, with the girls doing regular circuits of the pool.
The main bar and terrace were very comfortable and again the service was excellent, but watch out for the measures....they are BIG.
Away from the hotel across the mainroad is the beach bar, where you can have snacks and a relaxing drink.
The only quibble and its nothing the hotel can do about it, is the road noise. You do get used to it, but it is constant 24/7, but would this put us off going again...er, NO, infact we shall be returning Sept next year.

If any disabled traveller/s is/are thinking of selecting this hotel we would strongly suggest that you don't! The hotel is situated on a low hill, with very steep access roads. If you leave the hotel on foot you will find that the pavements only exist for approximately 150 yards, both to the left and right. The hotel is isolated and there are no bars or restaurants etc accessible on foot, in either direction - only a very fast and busy road. Across from the hotel there is a beach and beachfront cafe, owned by the hoel. The brochure states that said beach is"...only footsteps from the hotel...". What it does NOT tell you is that said footsteps must travel approximately 3 - 4 hundred yards: either across the suicidal inducing aforementioned road; or via a dark (i.e. NOT lit), underpass. Even when you use the underpass at midday the centre of said underpass is DARK and most definately NOT to be travelled unless you are in a group (with bodyguards). The hotel room we had was infested with ants; lacked any manner of useable towels. At the bar baguettes were served that are not only past their sell-by-date but were so disgusting that even the hotel staff member who served us observed that the hotel staff refused to eat them - and they get them for free! Our bathroom had a plethora of cracked tiles; the floors were dirty and we could not even estimate the last time anyone had cleaned under the bed.
In conclusion - avoid this hotel at all costs!

Room Tip: Don't! Go to a different hotel!

Thank you for your comments; however we believe they are not entirely accurate.

The Thomson brochures and website as well as our website, clearly state that our hotel is not suitable for the less mobile. Similarly the hotel description in the Thomson brochures state our location is on a “hillside perch”. Therefore anyone booking our hotel would have a clear indication of what to expect.

Stating that there are no bars or restaurants near the hotel is not correct. With a 5 minute walk to the right is a cafe/restaurant. Similarly, with a 10-15 minute walking distance to the left of the hotel are several bars, restaurants and souvenir shops.

The sandwiches provided in our lobby bar are freshly made daily and stamped with the production date. As a HACCP certified hotel, we ensure that all food offered adheres to the strict requirements of our health and safety guidelines.

Once again thank you for your comments.

We have just returned from a ten day stay at this hotel. It was absolutely fantastic!! The staff, the facilities, the entertainment and the food were all to a very high standard. We had one little hiccup with a member of staff but it was dealt with very quickly and it did not put us off re-booking to return in March. I cannot understand anyone finding fault with this hotel. For anyone looking to book this hotel do not hesitate, it is worth every penny. Can't wait to return in March!!

This was our first holiday together to celebrate our first year together and we was not let down!. It was the first time we had been to cyprus and will def not be the last! . Upon arrival our baggage was whisked away from us to our room and because of our late flight we kindly recieved a ham and cheese roll and drink on arrival which was a very nice touch. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. We was slighty dissapointed with our room because of the size and view but we hardly spent anytime in there anyway because there is always something to be doing. The food was AMAZING! Rachael being the fussy one was daunted by the variety of food and stuck to chips and th cavery meats ad salad but i on the other hand filled my boots! ( highly recommend visiting the gym or dieting before you come!)

Bbq on the beach was a top night as well and romantic of course. Book it when you can as tables go quick! But all in all the food was great plus lovely service with s smile on there face most of the time.

We booked this holiday halfboard but upgraded to an all inclusive drinks package most days for 20 euros each bur was well worth doing as the cocktails they offer are quality! And strong...(MARCEL) is the kindest and best waiter at the hotel. He always serves with a smile on his face and i always found it hard to say no to a drink when he came to our table! Top lad.

Lastly entertainment was awesome the two laurens always made us laugh with there wacky nature and the resident duo were good enough to get your feet tapping along. The beach isnt the best in the world but once in the water it is clear and sandy :)

One last note . We met some really nice people out there as well. As we were one of the only young couples out there we still had great banter with thr older folk!

Will def be returning again and not just for the drinks ( MARCEL!) love ya really.

Great value. Such a relaxing experience. You are really well looked after from the moment you arrive. The pool area is super with plenty of loungers and the food is excellent. The two Laurens on the entertainment and the resident duo called Dream are very entertaining. It has its own beach with bar and restaurant which is a bonus. The all inclusive package is a must.

Just returned from our two week holiday at this hotel had a fantastic time meeting some great people ( not Sue & Dave!!!!! lol). on a serious note the facilities were superb, only downside being that we did not get the room we rquested, but not the hotels fault, this was down to poor booking information given by first choice rep, advise you request a superior room to ensure a sea view. There is a wide choice of food available, both the a-la-carte and BBQ were noteworthy.Entertainment wise the two Laurens were absolutely fabulous and deserve full credit for their flawless efforts, hopefully their manager fully appreciates them and gives them the credit they deserve ( WELL DONE GIRLS!!!!!!). The only two faults of our stay at this hotel was having to sign for every drink even when wearing ALL inclusive wrist bands and on an entertainment front sad to say Dream were more like Dross, boring with no personality. Would fully recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Sugggest you ensure a room with a sea/Pool view when booking as some of the rooms at the front of th...

Thank you for your comments.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us.

We would like to add to the comment regarding a room request in order to better assist you in future bookings. Kindly note that a room request (whether through the travel agent or direct to us) would not guarantee fullfillment of the request. As you can appreciate, our sea view rooms are very popular and therefore we recommend you booking a sea view room in order to guarantee this for your stay. We hope this information is beneficial to you.

Once again we thank you for your comments and look forward to hosting you again in the future.
