“THIS IS ONE TO EXPERIENCE”

Just returned from a fabulous 11 night stay at this amazing hotel. There is nothing bad to say about it. The attention to detail is fantastic and the rooms are one of the best we have experienced and we have travelled the world. Loads of storage space, more than you need even if you take a change of clothes for every day. The food was great, the staff cannot do enough for you and it is spotlessly clean in all areas. We went with friends and we had double sea view rooms booked, we were thrilled when we arrived to fine we had been upgraded to superior rooms with to die for views. The beds were queen size with massive cushions on them and were very comfortable. This hotel is committed to making sure your holiday is a happy one.
Special mentions to Irena and Mate (pool bar) and Mareta in the lounge bar, always smiling even when rushed off their feet. Also thanks to the Thomson team Matt, Toni and Hannah for looking after us so well. I would only say room 429 which we changed kept us awake with the sound of a fan or generator all night but room 435 was fine. We will definitely go back.

Room Tip: a top room 4th floor with pool and sea views are the odd numbers but these overlook the terrace whic...

My husband and I (both in our 30's) stayed at the hotel from the 8th-15th May and had a great holiday. We were not sure what to expect as we don't usually go all inclusive as we usually like to eat out locally but we were impressed by the choice and quality of the food and the range of drinks available.
The entertainment was something I did worry about after reading some reviews but we thought that the variety was good and there was something different on every night. The resident duo Shadowlanz were on before and after this and we thought they were really great. The room where the entertainment is on could be set up better I think as couples go in and sit at individual tables and that's where you stay all night. There were no break in the music or entertainment to give you opportunity to talk to each other and also speak to with other couples there.
We had chosen a superior sea view room and was glad we did as the view we got was lovely - but not as close to the sea as I thought however we got a good view of the pool. The room was very modern and very clean. No complaints at all on the accommodation.
The one area I think does need attention is the lobby area which is rather dated. There were a couple of days when it was particularly windy and so didn't want to drink outside so had to sit in the lobby area and I thought that it needed brightening up and better seating / atmosphere.
All in all we had a great time but I would suggest hiring a car if you want to do more than just sit around the pool every day. We hired a car for 2 days and had a great couple of days out but there is not much nearby that is accessible without a car.

We stayed at the Atlantica Bay from the 21st April to 5th May and had a wonderful holiday did not want to come home. We have been several times before and always enjoyed it. Check in is quick and you are welcomed with a drink, cases are taken to your room for you. We had champagne and fruit in our room as we had been before. All rooms are spotless, cleaned daily with the maids, very comfortable large bed we had a sea view room overlooking the indoor pool and sea. The sun was shining on our balcony at 6 o'clock in the morning. The food is very good plenty of choice even for fussy eaters. It was my Birthday while we were there and I got champagne and fruit in our room then we had dinner in the A la Cart which was very good you are waited on and they make it feel very special.
All the staff are very good, some have been there each year, and they recognise you straight away. As soon as you sit down in the bar or ballroom they are there asking what you want to drink. they are also walking round the pool all day serving drinks.
The all inclusive option is a lot better than the half board.
The Thomson reps are very good Matt and Toni. Matt is very good and helpful if you need to know anything.
Mario and Hannah the entertainment team are excellent, we joined in all the games and daytime entertainment and had some good fun, a good crowd of us.
Nightly entertainment was good, there were some good acts on while we were there and the resident duo Shadowlanz were very good, Russ and Nanette come from Morcambe, Nanette is a lovely singer, regarding some of the other comments on Trip advisor they say it is all Jazz music, when we were there she sang a variety of songs something to suit everyone. You could give her requests She sang an Elton John number for me on my Birthday.
I would recommend the Bay to anyone, we will be returning probably next year as we love the hotel.
Joan and Walter

My husband and I spent a week at this hotel from 5-12 May. If you want to go somewhere that you can chill out and totally relax.then this is the hotel for you. This is a Thomson Couples
Only hotel and flying with Thomson Holidays, you are the first to be dropped off on your transfer from the airport which was a great time-saver.

On arrival, check-in was very quick and easy and served with a glass of champagne which was a lovely touch. Our bags were waiting in our room when we got there and there was a bottle of wine, basket of fruit, robes with slipperettes and pool towels all laid out for us. We booked a superior room because we wanted a room with a sea view which we got. The room was beautifully furnished, flat screen TV and the bed very large and so comfortable. There are tea and coffee-making facilities in this room which is replenished daily. The toilet was spotlessly clean with a two different types of showers over a very nice large bath. Towels were changed every day.

The restaurant in this hotel caters for absolutely everyone and the food is of a very high standard. Because we were all-inclusive, if you went out of the hotel during lunch, they prepared a packed lunch for you which had loads of food, water, fruit and a flask of hot water with tea and coffee.

The waiters in the restaurant and bars were completely focussed on serving you in a totally professional manner and were extremely efficient and hard-working. They were all a delight to speak with and made time to speak to you even though they were very busy and must have been stressed out. One night we went to the a la carte restaurant (you are allowed one visit) and the service was outstanding - the food was an absolute delight to look at and tasted even better. There is no way, I could fault this. The waiters were very good at serving and made you feel very special indeed which made the evening very special.

The only thing I would say is that this hotel is about a couple of miles from Limassol but it costs only one Euro to travel by bus there. There is a harbour which is about 1.5 miles but really there's not a lot at Atlantica Bay village. If we had been there for more than a week, we would have hired a car. This is our fifth visit to Cyprus and driving is very easy there. You drive on the same side of the road as in the UK and the road signs are in English as well as Greek.

I would also say that the electrical power points are the same as the UK so no need to take along adaptors.

There is also a fitness and spa centre, so you can treat yourself or go and exercise. Plus table tennis at the pool and a tennis court close-by.

There is a beach and grassy area full of sun beds and of course you can get soft drinks and snacks at the beach bar. This is only a short walk out the hotel car park, under a pass and you're there - takes about 5 minutes.

All in all, a superb hotel but I would also say that the friends we met at this hotel, made our holiday (Bert and Val, we miss you!). Everyone mixed really well and the entertainment team worked tirelessly to provide a good mix so there was something for everyone.

Would I go back to this hotel? Definitely. Would I recommend this hotel to friends and family? I would without any hesitation whatsoever.

Room Tip: When booking this hotel, it is worthwhile booking a superior room with a sea view. The room is love...

Stayed All Inclusive April 6-13th. Good decent Hotel with great attentive staff, they really can't do enough for you.
Rooms are decent , we stayed in room 347 Superior Sea View , which had a nice big balcony that got the afternoon sun.
Food was pretty good, a bit samey after a week but that's pretty much the norm. A La Carte a bit pretentious but decent enough.
Typical Atlantica All Inclusive drinks at bars, only local alcoholic drinks served , pay extra for international drinks - as I've previously suggested why not charge All Inclusive guests an extra 2 euros for a decent International spirit rather than dull, gentle home grown spirits?
As other reviews, Entertainment was woeful. resident duo Shadowlands/z were good but not upbeat enough for a crowd of holidaymakers that want a good upbeat time.
Lots of sun loungers , good pool and good indoor pool.
Supermarket a 5 minute walk along a busy road. Fairly steep exit from Hotel to road.
Beach - good.
Bus stop to Limassol right outside Hotel and only about a 10 minute drive away but not much there but still lots of bars etc.

Room Tip: Room 347 and surrounds - bigger balconies and sun in afternoon and evening.

For one Week Vacation, we went there - together with some Friends. It is a very good Hotel andsituated in a pretty calm Are - outside the Center! Small, but very well cleaned Beach, just 2 Minute walking away.Nice Swimmingpoolarea too.
We had Halfboard and theBreakfast and dinner was good and always they make fast Refill.
This Hotel is good for relax. For Party maybe not so good. But for us, it was perfect, because we want only relax - without any loud Partymusic.

Stayed 27th april - may 5th 2013. All inclusive. Beautiful hotel with ornate fittings and plush sofas inside and out under shade. Large pool areas and gardens with lots of sunbeds and parasols. Very clean spacious rooms, big tv on the wall, coffee maker, fridge, reading lamps , make up / shaving mirror in bathroom. Fresh flowers too. King size bed, large balcony. On arrival a porter took our cases up while we were served refreshments. This holiday was so relaxing because the staff were excellent, always ready to top up your drink. they walk round the pool areas to see what you want then bring it to you.The food was lovely, the wine too and cocktails. The entertainment was very good. There is a taverna by the beach for drinks and snacks set in lovely gardens just over the road (underpass). Best of all no children.
