We arrived about midnight and was handed a glass of wine , a warm wet flannel , and a bun. Checkin was quick and cases were taken to our room. Passsports taken off you over night which is wrong in this day and age ,.We had a superior room on the top 4th floor , it overlooks the pool and has a sea view. Beach /pool towels on the bed , bathrobes / slippers, abottle of wine and bowl of fruit and a large bottle of water. It also has a safe in the room at a cost of €42 for the 2 weeks . Tea and coffee / milks sugars and a kettle , plus a coffee machine with 2 coffee pods . Large flat screen tv on wall with few english programes plus fox movies and bbc world and sky news channel . Bathroom had hairdryer, magnify mirror rain shower and a hand held shower over bath , socket for shavor, box of tissues and comp shampoos /shower gel / soap/ body moisturiser. Large shower screen . Loads of wardrobe space and cupboards . Comfy bed and loads of pillows and it also has our normal 3 pin plug sockets . Patio doors onto a small balcony with table / chairs and a hanging rail for washed clothes. Well stocked gym / and spa. 2 thomson reps on site everyday. Nice pool area with new large sunbeds , and 10 bolnese beds around main pool first come first served basis. Other pool is smaller with the roof folded back , both waiter service . Sands beach bar and tavern is across the road . There are sunbeds both on the grass and sand , but at weekends i dont think its right that locals take over the sunbeds and none left for hotel guests. I think the hotel should look into this , as the besch area is not very big as it is . Tavern snack bar VERY generous portions .
Main restaurant good variety of food and deserts , even some english favourites apple pie custard , treacle sponge custard etc, Entertainment very basic with the exception of CAZ, who was very bubbly and was an allrounder singing, dancing , pool entertaner . Free sauna visit and al la carte visit per stay. Bus trip into limmasol €1-50 or there is abeach walk way that goes all the way . Local shop on site . And a local supermarket turn left out of hotel about 200 yards with a bakery next to it as well . Plus chemist just abit further along road . All in all a very nice holiday , friendly staff , cannot fault hotel , do have fond memories . But would not go back due to the beach being not to our expectations and not being able to get a bed on there due to locals getting them first . Surely this is not right ! Free WIFI but not very good in rooms hit and miss where it will work . We booked a late check out room up to 6pm for the last day while in the UK as it is cheaper . But you can book a curtisy room for 30 mins at the hotel for free. Allinclusive guest keep there wrist band on till they leave hotel .
