Mikhmoret beach boasts warm, clear water and golden sands! It's popular with the locals who pitch tents and party to the small hours of the morning. Unfortunately as a result there's often considerable amounts of plastic pollution: cups, bags, etc. washing up onto its shores. IMO it's a small price to pay to enjoy what o/w are beautiful sunsets, wonderful surf and an almost 100% guarantee of sunshine. There's a 24/7 bar on the beach that serves fantastic Moroccan fish. The far end of the beach is popular with local bohemian types and nude bathing: it's a sight to behold naked Jesus Christ looking men emerging from the sea in the morning! It's definitely a beach experience not to be missed. It's not hard to relax and unwind in this very quiet, homely and friendly town. It best suits the young, budget traveller or couple.

After spending two long months in Jerusalem my friend and I desperately needed a break. The Resort was exactly the break we were looking for. Adam, the owner, is a laid back all around good dude who is more than willing to help you in anyway you need. The location is incredible with so many things to do and every sort of beach you could possibly desire. From sea-turtles to a hippy beach community, the area is very inviting and laid back. I personally spent my 2 weeks in one of the tents and dont regret it at all. With a central common area you will certainly run into some pretty wild individuals which added to our stay. Honestly, might have been the best 2 weeks of my life. Book now and forever go in peace.

Room Tip: If you're a wuss you can get a dorm room or a private room, but the tents worked well for me.

Our initial impression was not favorable but after several minutes, I could honestly recommend this place. I think it had a lot to do with the hot and humid weather. But once we settled in, turned on the air conditioner, and took out a beer from the refrigerator, which you pay based on the honor system, which tells you about the calm and trusty owner's relax attitude, we were fine. It is not a five star hostel but it ranks to one of the better ones I have been to during my travels in Central America, Mexico, the South Pacific, and parts of Central Europe. The room we stayed was very clean and all other facilities were all that we needed - air conditioning, free strong wi-fi connection, ample room. The owner picked us up at the bus stop. He was very helpful and friendly. The big plus of the hostel is location. Very close to beach and market.

The resort hostel is a cozy place where you can relax, meet other travellers, plan your journey and feel home. It is a perfect point to start or finish your travel, to enjoy the beach, waves or take a walk through the nature reserve around the village. In the hostel you can feel a nice atmosphere and you always get good advices and help from the staff there (they have a pick up service from the busstation which is very handy). The tents are alright for a couple of nights and all the facilities there (kitchen and bathroom) are clean. We prefer to stay in this hostel rather than in a crowded and expensive hostel in Tel Aviv. Especially if you come during weekdays, the beaches are empty and you can enjoy it to the fullest.

Room Tip: If you like it simple, take a tent. They are comfortable and cheap.

We were picked up by Mike in the night and went to the dorm.
It's a simple place with charme! You shouldt expect a 5star hotel, but
we enjoyed our stay a lot.
Addiotionaly we recived great recommentations of our manager!

It's a good place to arrive in Israel to managa some day-trips or for a nice last few days to have a llazy time on the beach ( or in action)

We were the first three days of our stay in Israel in The Resort and were able to get used to the country on a very nice place. Michael helped us a lot and we went to Akko and to the very nice and quiet beach at that moment. On Saterday, when we left, the beach was more crowded.
The rooms were good and it was nice we had a simple kitchen.
