We stayed at Villa Elijo for a week in June 2011. We drove to the Aphrodite Hills Resort straight from Paphos airport, which took about 15 minutes or so and was easy to find. On arrival at the resort, the security were very friendly and helpful and directed us to the Villa.
The Villa itself is BEAUTIFUL. The pictures don't do it justice!! The whole place is just lovely - the ground floor is a large lounge with big comfy sofas and the kitchen/dining room is spacious with every single cooking utensil you could ever possibly need!
Downstairs are the bedrooms and bathrooms. Each one decorated to a very high standard, and two of them have doors opening up into the very well maintained gardens. The outside space is fantastic too - really big gardens, lots of room for sunbathing and cooking/eating outside.
The only downside is that it doesn't have its own private pool, but obviously we knew that before we went and the nearest communal pool is literally about 2-3 minutes walk away. So for us, not really a downside at all!
The Aphrodite Hills resort itself is enormous and very well maintained. We ate at the restaurants in the resort Square most nights, which was okay but not the best food I've had on holiday/in Cyprus. And the shop in the resort is ridiculously expensive.
The beaches that you could drive/catch the bus to were nice but very pebbly/stoney.
Overally, I could not fault the Villa itself - it really was wonderful. The resort could do with improving their restaurants and lowering the prices in the shop, but this is separate to the Villa and you could easily drive to other restaurants outside the resort or to larger supermarkets.
Would definitely recommend to a friend and would happily return.
