We, my friends & I, stayed in the Kotsias villas (Villa Kleo) between the 10th & 24th August 2013
I emailed Nicos before we went to ask if he would leave the air conditioning on for us and this was done without hesitation (6 euros per unit per day). The following morning he came to see if everything was OK, and said to contact him if we had any problems. We had a couple, nothing major, and he came to sort them quickly. Housekeeping came in twice a week to change the towels and the beds were changed one a week - Note: they only leave one tea towel per stay.
We found this villa to be clean, the outside was well groomed and the pool was cleaned regularly & IT'S DEEP! - the only thing I would say is there are not enough pans for cooking & 2 of bathrooms are a bit on the small side.
Coral Bay centre is about 30 minutes walk away, and there is a pub (Irish Bar) and a supermarket
nearby.
At the end of our holiday Nicos let us have a small villa near to his hotel for a few hours, as our flight was late at night and this very much appreciated - we could have a shower and a change of clothes before our journey home after an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
Once again Nicos - thanks from all of us.

We first stayed in one of these villas about 8-9 years ago booking through James Villas. We booked with them another year, stayed in a different Kotsias villa to the previous time and then after that visit we loved it so much that we made our own bookings direct with Nicos, the owner, and have been back to these particular villas another 4 times. The location is brilliant for the beach, just a 5 minute walk, and you can even walk into the main Coral Bay area for restaurants etc too, or use the car if feeling lazy! The villas themselves have everything that you need, the pools are lovely and anything that we have ever needed, Nicos was only too glad to help and supply it! The pools were cleaned on a regular basis and housekeeping came in a couple of times a week to change bed linen and towels. I would recommend these villas highly especially if you have small children - choose one of the villas with the small baby pool which is great for them to sit and splash in.

We stayed in this villa on the 23rd June for 1 week and booked with Thomson.
After the flight we had a hour and half wait to sort the hire car out!
Bit of advise if there is 2 or more of you have someone meet the rep and sort your car out ASAP to get in the queue first.
After getting our car (which was hard to find) it was easy to find the villas and took about 30-40 mins to drive.
We didnt have a key and just has a code.
We was told to use the code to get in the villa.
We put the code in and after a hour and half trying to open the door with no luck, we called the hotel linked to the villas.
They was not helpful and didnt understand us and was told to sleep in the car until the morning and someone will come out to us, we tried calling Thomson help line which we never got through just a huge phone bill waiting when I get home!
We knocked on next doors villa at 3am luckily they was awake and they said you have to pull up the catch and then pull down another catch and flick the box open, the key was inside the box!
Thanks for telling us THOMSON reps!
After getting in the villa it was basic and the heat hit you!
The air con dosnt work unless you have the remotes which is back 15mins drive away at the hotel.
The next morning things got worse.
Nichos turned up with the air con remotes and charged something stupid per night per until!
We paid just for one bedroom and slept in twin beds.
It was my birthday and my friend made me a breakfast by the pool, while opening my presents up we heard the bushes move around the pool.
The next thing we saw a huge rate and a meter long black snake fighting each other!
We jumped up screamed and the rat ran away in the bushes but the snake jumped into our pool, swam to the other side and slide out and to next door!
We never saw the snake again but saw rats and heard rats fighting/playing all night and day.
One top of that pigeons stood on the roof and pooed all day nearly hitting your head or you end up walking in it!
We didnt swim or put our heads in the pool all holiday as you dont know what was in there, or left in there!
The villas are far out and you need a car, there is a large supermarket up the road and a few bars, but it is far away from most of the good night life.
Only good thing about the villa is having your own pool and doing what you like when you like without the hotel rules.
I would like to stay in a villa again but not this one.
I also forgot to mention Thomson told us to go to the wrong villa at the start so that took another 30mins of messing about finding the right villa.
Not what you need when you first arrive on holiday!
Do Not go! There are better places!

Room Tip: sort out air con before you go to the villa you have to pass the hotel on your way to the villa!

Stayed at kotsias villas august 2012 ,never again, had our mobile phone " lost in the villa"and charger ..very strange? If you like waking up and watching rats drink from the pool or listen to Squealing pigs being slaughtered five meters away from the pool ,this is for you.coral bay has lost it's beach due to a bad winter ,the beach is rammed with people ,we tried Lara beach which was lovely ,we have stayed all over Cyprus the last ten years and I'm afraid to say traveling with Thompson holidays was the worst ever.

Room Tip: Stay in pissouri much better.

travelled with Thomson Holidays and stayed for 2 weeks. These are good but basic villas.. lovely large private pool but be warned, there is no shaded area so the pool area gets very hot in the afternoon. The double bed is tiny and the sheets are not large enough also you have to pay 16 euros per night per unit for air conditioning (a must if you want to sleep!) and this has to be arranged at the hotel (20 minutes drive away). Car hire is essential if you want to get out and about as the main resort of Coral Bay is a 20 minute uphill walk (not pleasant in the heat of the day). Coral Bay has a lovely beach around 20 minutes walk away (Corallia beach much nearer and equally as nice) and some really nice restaurants but 5 minutes walking takes you the entire length of the town.. hence the reason you really do need a car or you would soon get bored. The kitchen area is tiny but has everything you need.. hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine. There are 2 bathrooms (one tiny.. downstairs and one larger upstairs). In summary... nice basic clean villas in a quiet area.

We have been going to Helios Bay in Paphos for 17 years and love it, this time we decided to try one of their villas at Coralia called Kotsias Villas.........best decision I have made since marrying my wife!! (28 years ago)

The Villa was spacious, clean and very comfortable with all home comforts, having our own pool was a bonus as when it got hot at night we could have a wee dip. The villa and pool were cleaned on a regular basis....perfect. Nicos also made regular visits to make sure all was ok and to remind us about the barbeque night at the Helios....not to be missed!

Corallia beach was about 5 mins walk away and is nice and quiet. O'Sullivans pub has a great atmosphere and good food too. Close by this are a supermarket, Indian Restaurant and Chinese restaurant. It takes about 15-20 mins to walk into Coral Bay and there is a bus stop about 5 mins from the villa.

In all we had a great time and are going back next year for 3 weeks.................we can't wait

I first visited Cyprus in 2006 and fell in love with the country, we stayed at the Helios Bay hotel first time which was fantastic. For the last two years we have stayed at the Kotsias villas and I would not want to stay anywhere else. The villas are based in Coral Bay which is a quiet area and has the two best beaches in the area. Paphos, which has every shop, bar, nightclub or resraurant you could possibly want is a 15 minute bus ride away. The villas are spacious and having our own pool was amazing. The villas are 5 minutes walk away from a large hotel where you can buy essentials and cash money. 10 minutes walk away are a couple of good bars (O'Sullivans Irish Bar is recommended) and a mini supermarket/cash exchange. I can't wait to go back.
