Our room was facing the sea, which was great, especially watching the sunset and hearing the sounds of crashing waves just a few metres away from our balcony. The room was clean and spacious, complete with a kitchen with a fridge and all other essentials. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed on daily basis as well. Breakfast is served on a roof terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast was charged to us at 6 euros per day per person which consisted of some cold meats and cheese, as well as bacon, eggs, toast and some fresh fruit. Pool area was nice and quite during our stay. For venturing out, regular buses will take you to Coral Bay beach, and shopping/bars area are about 10 minutes away if you don't have a hire car. All in all, good stay, with great sea views being a definite plus.

Room Tip: ask for a sea-facing room, west side rooms have fantastic sea views, and you could watch beautiful sunset from your balcony

It has a nice view. Especially the sun setting.
The breakfast was also good.
The staff however were not particularly polite and helpful.
It is also quite far from the action. If you want peace and quiet this is ok. If you have a rental car it is also ok.

Just returned from here 4th -11th sept . 2 things stand out with the vrachia , 1st the views a recent reviewer stated that if you are in rooms 208-205 then you have the best rooms
Well we were in 206 and I have never had a better sea view than this ! The 1st thing we all do when we enter a room is open the curtains to see what the view is and it was a wow
From us complete panoramic sea view . 2nd was how quiet this place is we had a couple of days lazing around the pool and it is so peaceful , at night we left the patio doors open
And all you could hear was the waves crashing against the rocks it was heaven. It is set back from the main road so day/night you don't hear any traffic no music nothing just waves.
We were in a self catering studio which was better equipped than most and the beds were top shelf for being comfortable very impressive , you know most say can't wait to get back
In my own bed well not when your in these . The staff were very good big thanks to ray who I think has 4 jobs in one and anna who was very helpful. Oh and another thing the pool
Was just perfect temperature but could do with depth signs as is very deep one end . The only down side is if you arrive after 11pm then is no-one on site so email to confirm what room
You are in we nearly had a night sleeping on the sun beds as after emailing I couldn't get mine open but luckily some guest had the same problem and sorted it for us. Overall this place
Is fantastic for views and quietness , the parking is great with loads of space and the WiFi is also free and works very well , I would definitely return here and would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Vrachia in July/August, the location of which is fantastic for views as it is surrounded by sea and palm trees. The grounds are well maintained, the food is delightful, the hotel itself could do with some TLC and updating the rooms are quite basic and the dining area is in dire need of fans. All guest rooms have AC which worked well and were very much appreciated, the cleaners called daily and did a good job. One special person who works at The Vrachia did us proud, his name is Ray Rogerson, he looked after us all in his role as waiter, barman and pool attendant. Ray always had a smile for us, we enjoyed his company and no matter what no job was a problem or too much for him to handle. Overall we had a lovely time. Would I stay again? Only if Ray still worked there :-). Thank You Ray from all the Wedding Party, you did us proud not only on the day but throughout our stay. Yamas

Room Tip: Rooms 207, 206 are ideally situated, they are close to amenities and have fabulous outlooks over bay and sea

First of all, the hotel has the most amazing view because it is surrounded on three sides by the sea. We had booked a studio room but upon arrival, our room was upgraded to a superior room without any extra charges. Our room was on the 2nd floor, with a breathtaking view so I highly recommend to book a room on the 2nd floor. The room was more than comfortable and most important, clean. The reception guy was very polite and he was the one who offered to upgrade our room. We did not use the restaurant or the pool, so I cannot speak for the rest of staff. Lastly, it is near Coral Bay and downtown of Paphos so you can easily go wherever you want.
We would definitely stay again!
