We dined in this place and the food was amazing, the prices are really good. A must to try is the Meze to die for and was very reasonably priced.

“An old favourite we're always pleased to visit”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

We were happy to be back in Cyprus again this year and also happy to be back visiting Tony and the great team at San Marino. After the usual warm welcome and drinks I opted for one of the set menus and my husband went for the ala carte. I started with melon in port followed by homemade moussaka and Ian started with the bacon and halloumi rolls and then then mixed kebab. The set menu was three courses but I couldn't eat a dessert so Ian had the sherry trifle on my behalf which was a little unusual and the only disappointment of the meal. I finished with with a VERY strong special coffee made with Filfar which was wonderful. With complimentary drinks that arrived with the bill it was another great meal in this restaurant.

“A Good Value Cypriot restaurant; a pleasant all round experience”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Our hungry group of four decided that they would prefer to eat before going home after an evening visit to the harbour.
After a short walk around looking at a few other nearby restaurants, we decided to try the San Marino, which serves mainly Cypriot food .
We went for the fixed 3-course Menu selection at €15.95 as this had better selections compared to the slightly cheaper fixed price Menu. The environment was good, clean with decent seating.
Tony introduced himself as the owner and Elena told us what special selections were available and made us feel very welcome. The starters chosen by three of us were Mussels in a rather nice garlic sauce.
For the Main course, two of our group opted for Mousakkas, one for Pastichio and another for the Kleftico. The food portions were good and well presented.
Only two could manage desserts as well, namely Crème caramel and Apple pie cheese cake.
Overall, we enjoyed the meal and considered it good value for the price. Finished off with some liqueurs on the house. The waiter/ess service was good and friendly and not intrusive. We had a carafe of the house wine which was slightly above average although more expensive than we expected.
To sum up our first visit; a good restaurant which we will very likely visit again in the future.
