We visited this restaurant last night and the food was amazing, two of us had Chicken Korma and the chicken just fell to bits it was so tender, my husband had Lamb Tikka Special and he said the taste and meat was fantastic.
The starters were large and also very good, as for the Dessert, these were wonderful.
The staff/owners were friendly and attentive... I just don't understand the "bland and tough as old boots" comments.
We will definitely try and visit again during our stay.

Jo

don't judge a book by its cover , when you first enter it looks scruffy and not well maintained but bear with it and you will be rewarded by a fantastic taste experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. The food was as good as some of the more popular restaurants I have visited before and as I live in Manchester the yard stick for a good curry is Rusholme and it certainly was as good as there.

Don't make the mistake of ordering more than one Nan bread per couple as they are huge and very tasty. The Garlic Nan was well worth a mention.

Me and my husband visited this restaurant as we wanted a curry and this was the nearest in the vicinity to our hotel. We were greeted by a friendly lady and shown to a table. However when we were ordering, we ordered 2 naans as we like 2 different ones and were told we won't eat it all. I would just like to ask who is paying for the meal? Surely it's up to ourselves to decide what we have, and if we don't finish it, yes it's a shame to waste any but we are Paying for it and are only human after all. The madras and korma we had were absolutely tasteless. The chicken was so tough it took a while to break down when eating and resembled that of overcooked pork. The rice was rock solid and we sent that back they took it off the bill and said would give us a pilau rice that is quick to do but we decided we didn't want to eat anything more from here. We are fair with our thoughts and usually give restaurants the benefit of the doubt but This time we would go as far to say it was the worst curry we've ever had which reflects the last few previous reviews on here and we would say please don't waste your money there. We felt odd as soon as we left the restaurant after eating what little we did. Dodgy stomachs? I'll let you work that one out!
