Just returned from our annual break at oracle b101, paphos. Fantastic accommodation, just like a home from home, amazing balcony for relaxing. Great restaurants in local area. Lovely pool bar where George and panikos will look after you. Thanks to Paul and Gillian once again for the hire of this beautiful accomodation.
Brilliant complex friendly clean. Very friendly bar staff. great location. Can't wait to go back. Lots of places to visit
Booked via a friend of a friend, Paul was very responsive and full of information, straight forward and clear. We actually tried to book an additional week after deciding 1 week was to short but unfortunately fully booked so stayed at alternative for a week beforehand, which was twice a expensive and not worth the difference.....everything you need here at Oracle, although bar staff, George and co are fantastic, make sure you get down to the harbour and surrounding areas to eat and explore. IF I had a pet moan it would be about people putting towels out on loungers around the pool early and then not using them until much later, but that meant not wasting the day, get up!!... Generally taxi's are EUR8 for close trips and bus service is close, although we never used, always taxis which were always on time, good cars and service. Eating at George's partners restaurant was excellent food and they even throw in a return taxi for you!!....kid's friendly, great atmosphere, apartment is mint, we will be looking to book again in the future.....:).....thanks to all for a fantastic holiday in Pathos......:)
just been back for our 5th year, enjoyed another fantastic holiday, the apartment has everything you could possibly want including an amazing balcony for relaxing on. Good local restaurants, hotel bar run by very helpful and friendly staff, good cocktails and good food available all day. Including BBQ on a Sunday. 6th year already booked. Thanks to Paul and Gillian
We visited as a family for 6 nights and really loved the apartment.
The booking process was very straightforward through TripAdvisor, and Paul responded quickly. He sent lots of useful information - some of it about the areas, transport, airport taxis etc, and some was about the apartment itself. This meant that by the time we reached the apartment (at about 2am after a delayed flight!) we at least knew about the accommodation and didn't have to struggle to get the keys. Oh, and he also a drinks voucher for the pool bar which was good.
The apartment is just as described, but when you see 'well equipped' you never really know do you? Well, please be assured that this one definitely is. There's plenty of (matching) crockery and cutlery, glasses, pans and casseroles, chopping boards etc. The cook's knives are sharp and the potato peeler works so none of the more usual niggles that you find in some places. There's a good stock of cleaning stuff, replacement bin liners and all the bits that you need. Beds comfy, cotton bedding, good bath towels and pool towels also provided.
It was lovely and clean when we arrived. No maid service during the week but it's easy to keep clean.
The aircon fans in 3 rooms were a real bonus because temperatures were in the 30s while we were there. The water cooler certainly got used.
The balcony is the real bonus. It's effectively another room with L-shaped sofas, a large dining table, a couple of sun loungers, and one of those hanging basket chairs that is so conmfy (those 60s things - don't know what they are called).
The apartment overlooks the pool and bar. We were worried that this may be a bit noisy having a 4 year old with us who needs to sleep. I suppose it depends what crowd you have in, but it was fine.
The complex itself is clean and well-kept. There's covered free parking which is useful.
The bus service which goes one way up to the old town, and the other way down to the bus station at the harbour stops right outside the complex.
This was a lovely stay and I'd certainly look to see it's available for a future visit.
We left a couple of beers and some fruit juice in the fridge so I hope the next visitors enjoyed them!
