This must be the loveliest hotel in Cyprus, we have stayed at the Elysium a number of times as it has everything we like and want. It's a beautiful Hoyle set in lovely gardens that look out to sea.

The staff are so professional and friendly, many have been at the hotel since it opened eleven years ago, they remember their guests and greet us like old friends.

To us it has the feel of coming home. We returned yesterday after two perfect weeks. Food is wonderful, no need to go out to eat as the buffet nights have different themes each day, so plenty of choice.

We look forward to visiting again time after time. Fabulous hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are good , some look out over the Tombs of the Kings, some side sea view, but all we have...

Enjoyed a wonderful week at the Elysium.Travelled as a couple with 20 yr old daughter.
Everything we wanted for a relaxing week .
Pool area: beautifully laid out with ample amount of sun loungers , swim up bar and very helpful attendants .
Extended area leading down to the Beach with grassed areas and Bali Beds on the sand.Gorgeous display of candles along the jetty and beach at night making it very atmospheric.
Dining : Ample choice & themed evenings.Excellent quality and service.Nicely arranged outdoors so evenings have atmosphere with music.
Room: Clean and comfy bed.May need an update soon.
Reception area : spacious , inviting with friendly service. Has a beautiful library/lounge area and TV room.Nice to relax after Dinner.
Given the use of a room to shower and change before departure.
We all agreed that we would definitely return in the future and probably stay in the accommodation with plunge pools as they looked a really nice alternative.
Nothing seems too much trouble at this Hotel and this is probably why it attracts return guests.

First visit to Cyprus and certainly made the correct choice in going to the Elysium.
Everything about the place is first class. Especially the staff, who could not be more helpful and friendly throughout all aspects of the hotel. The management are to be commended for the ethos they have established and a staff who are, to a man, obviously very happy to be working there. This pacts on the staffs dealings with visitors and helps to make everyone's stay a memorable one.
Don't usually opt for half board but we did on this occasion and were never disappointed with what was available in terms of choice and quality. A la carte option available but never felt the need to opt for it.
Pool staff and bar staff are particularly friendly and certainly added to our stay on a daily basis. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always looking to have a quick chat with everyone.
The Elysium is well worth a visit if you are going to Cyprus and we will certainly be making a return visit at some point.

Recently returned (14/6/14) from the Elysium after a 10 day holiday. First time visit and chose the hotel based on trip advisor reports. We were very pleased with our choice and can't fault any area of the hotel. Good location just off the Tomb of the Kings Road with a selection of restaurants/bars just a few minutes walk away if you don't feel like going into Paphos. The grounds and public areas of the hotel are lovely and kept to a high standard. We saw them being hosed down and swept every day. The pool areas are also great. High quality sun loungers and embrellas provided. The pool area was quiet and relaxing and never felt over crowded. There are also open grass areas and a private beach with sun loungers. It's all high quality and kept to a very high stabdard. We had a thrid floor room over the pool area which gave excelent views out over the Mediterranean Sea and amazing sunsets. The breakfast room had an excellent choice and high standard. The staff work very hard and were always pleasant. I used the gym which was well equipped, my wife had a number of the Spa treatments and she said they were the best she's ever had. There is a nice walk along the seafront on a good level path, which you can easily access from the hotel gardens. It takes you into Paphos harbour area and takes about 30mins. Very nice to walk of the breakfast. This tops our list of best hotels and we will definitely be back.

Room Tip: If you can afford a sea view room it's worthwhile. Amazing views. Get a room on the third/fourt...

My wife and I came here for a short break to get some sun and relaxation. Hotel looks great and on the outskirts of Phaphos so as to be hopefully peaceful and relaxing. On being met the staff were excellent and have to say the room allocated (2234) was great and the view from our small balcony of the sea could not be faulted.

The pool area was very clean and sun beds were not being booked at some silly hour ,which was a really nice surprise. If I am honest there were more children under the age of 4 than we had expected, but they all appeared to be having a great time.

Pool staff were very attentive and not over pressing at all.

Food in the evening was of a really good standard and plentiful although as a buffet became a bit of a scrum on occasions. Real bonuses were the staff. Alla at both breakfast and dinner is a real "rock". She always smiles and remembers your preferences as to where you like to sit. Never flustered. In the evening we found that George and Nicholai were as friendly as you could meet and made our dinner really enjoyable and fun and always willing to spend a short time talking to you.A credit to the hotel.

In summary a really good hotel whom if they gave water in the rooms on a daily basis would certainly match the standard of the staff service.

I am told that September is a great time to book for sun and quiet relation.

Stayed here only one night and must say it was outstanding. Booked online on a Thursday for a Saturday night getaway and was extremely impressed with everything associated with the Elysium. Only one draw back, when you book a Sea View room don't expect it to be 100% Sea View. I thought the balcony would face the sea and that would be your view, we could see the water but it should have been advertised as a pool view room. Still a great room can't say anything bad about it. Started off with an outstanding greeting from the hotel staff, front staff are very courteous and professional. Then we had lunch at the Mediterranean, food and service again outstanding, waited on by multi waiters who were all very courteous and professional. The pool bar was exceptional in my opinion, Norbert and Lucki the two bar tenders we were served by can sure make some fantastic cocktails and are very outgoing and all around easy to talk to, they made the experience great. We had dinner at the Bacco, Italian restaurant and the food and service was top notch, everything from the wine, to the desert was outstanding. We continued the night in the lounge for the live music and the mix was just perfect. Female singer with an outstanding voice (wish I knew her name) singing just about every style of music you could want to hear. Then a male singer with the best voice I have heard in a long time sang Greek songs that even though I couldn't understand the words was just beautiful in my opinion. Again Norbert and Lucki had the helm of the bar and didn't miss a beat from earlier in the day, they made the day and night great. Followed up with an outstanding breakfast the next morning, where I had the best omelet I have had on island. This was by far a great place to go and getaway for a relaxing weekend. I will be staying here again for sure......

Room Tip: If you are expected a Sea View room to have a 100% sea view you might be disappointed. The room we...

We stayed here for 7days for wedding jun 9to16 2014 on a package thru cyprus dream wedding. When we arrived in the hotel and while checking in there was a little confusion but as soon as we said we are here for the wedding under cyprus dream wedding they already sorted it out. We were been upgraded to villa maisonette garden view and half board. We are very happy for that...we were given welcome drinks while waiting. The porter is very good and helpful. All the staffs are very pleasant and professionals. The room is very nice, clean and spacious.

Great breakfast buffet ..lots of choices..the chef is verys cheerful, the waiters and waitresses are very attentive.

The pool is huge ...lots of beds and umbrellas everywhere...very helpful staff and ready to assist you when needed.

The restaurant mediterrano and bacco are really good!!! (Food and service)Not expensive considering its a 5star hotel..spa is also very good...i had a massage there with my in laws.superb experience.

The wedding turned out good..its more than what we expected. Cyprus dream wedding did a good job..thanks to Kerry Barker with the help of Miss Anita of elysium..my wedding is really a memorable one and stress free ...and elysium management was very generous in giving us things which is not in the package such as free post wedding dinner, spa discount, breakfast in the room, bottle of champagne and romantic set up of our room. So pleased and thankful for that :)

Everyday is a nice day in elysium...definitely will comeback in this hotel.

Room Tip: Maisonnette garden view
