“Lovely Accommodation!”
Reviewed 24 August 2012

Accomodation: I stayed here with my Mum in June and had a relaxing and pleasant stay. The food is of an excellent quality and the staff are extremely helpful and professional. The only negative was the size of the single beds which were extremely narrow, concerned may fall out in the night! Location of our room was at the back of the property, near the road, therefore some traffic noise, request pool side view. Would highly recommend this property, lovely location and pleasant stroll into Paphos by the coastal path. If you want a relaxing property with fantastic food and service without screaming children look no further!
Resort: Saddened to see that Paphos looking down at heel in parts , last visited 15 years ago and shocked to see the ravages of tourism on a once quaint and pretty resort. Lots of tatty souvenir shops with numerous premises closed and boarded up, also huge influx of Russian holidaymakers which has impacted on the resort i.e Russian themed shops and groups of rude and drunk Russians. Therefore was happy to stay by the pool and use the local supermarket rather than go into town.

Room Tip: Pool view /Sea view rooms quieter -away from the road

What a special lovely place! Lots of pros, very hard to find any cons. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite - really pleased, we had a lovely room - the air con was great - despite earlier reviews - and it was very hot - so no problems there. The room was in very good order, very clean and spacious with a lovely double balcony. Check in was very personal and set the scene for our week here. The pool/garden/beach area is lovely, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a little shop that was very reasonably priced for water etc. Our week was really excellent, the breakfast was lovely, we sat in the shade outside and just enjoyed relaxing over a leisurely breakfast looking at the pool and sea. The fact that there are no kids there is really lovely! Having travelled without our own two, we really did not wish to endure other peoples kids. The hotel has a sophisicated air about it, really quite lovely and we will definately be returning.

Room Tip: A sea view is worth the extra expense!

We were getting married while in Paphos and stayed here for our Honeymoon. Fantastic hotel, reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We also used the SPA which was also good. The only fault with this hotel is the dress code in the evening for men. The hotel requires gentlemen to wear long trousers in the restaurants, we did not eat in the hotel on an evening because of this, it was very very hot, too hot to wear trousers. Other than this I could not fault the hotel it was fab and I would certainly return!

This was our first visit to The Asimina Suites as a treat for my 50th birthday. We normally stay at the Constantinou Brothers sister hotel the Athena Beach. Our welcome commenced as our taxi pulled up outside the entrance. The concierge was waiting to open the door and help us alight and a member of the management team was ready to escort us to the reception lounge. We were invited to have a welcome drink, orang juice, champagne, tea or coffee was available and this was served with dainty aperitifs that proved to be as delicious as they looked. Once the paperwork was completed we were then escorted to our suite, which was superb, cool and very welcoming. We had been given a One Bedroom Suite which enjoyed a splendid sea view and a double balcony. I was also very pleased that they had noted that it was my birthday and so a cake was waiting for us that evening with wine and fruit in the room. The Housekeeping Staff ensured that our suite was always comfortable and the staff who provided the 'turn-down' service were equally dedicated to putting our comfort first. We had clean bedding every day and towels replaced morning and evening if they had been used. The bathroom products and other comforts were all of a very high standard, bathrobes were provided and each evening a small bottle of water for us on our bedside table.

We had booked half board and found the menu options for breakfast and evening meals to be varied and suitable for all palettes. In the mornings the waiters served coffee/tea, juice etc with everything else self-service. The selection for breakfast and evening meals was quite small and not as good as other Constantinou Bros hotels we have stayed in.

Evening meals were to a similar pattern whereby a waiter would take orders and serve drinks / soup and everything else was self-service but as with breakfast there were always 2/3 chefs ready to prepare main course specialities to the diners individual taste. I go back to the reception staff where they all worked to ensure that the requirements of each guest was fully met. We dined in the A La Carte one evening and this proved to be very expensive and the food although nice was not value for money as we were all still hungry afterwards.

The entertainment each evening was ok but could have been a bit better. The sun beds and umbrella's of a high quality and towels were always available with the staff always helpful and accommodating as were the staff who provided refreshments to guests on their 'sun bed' such as free frozen fuit and cold flannels.

The location of the hotel is perfect and close enough to the hustle and bustle of Paphos Harbour, but far enough away to be quiet and serene. Buses stop quite close to the front of the hotel and costs just €1 for a single journey or €3 for a day ticket. The buses run in both directions around every 10 minutes.

The hotel has a gym, with well-maintained equipment. The General Manager, Dino is always on hand and approachable. We stayed with friends who also enjoyed the experience and will definitely return.

This was our second visit to The Asimina Suites and it was even better than we remembered.
Our welcome commenced as our taxi pulled up outside the entrance. The concierge was waiting to open the door and help us alight and a member of the management team was ready to escort us to the reception lounge.
We were invited to have a welcome drink, we choose champagne and this was served with dainty aperitifs that proved to be as delicious as they looked.
Once the paperwork was completed we were then escorted to our suite, which was superb, cool and very welcoming. We had been given a One Bedroom Suite which enjoyed a splendid sea view and a double balcony. I was also very pleased that they had noted that it was my husbands birthday and so a cake was waiting for us with wine and fruit.
In the mornings the waiters served coffee/tea, juice etc with everything else self-service albeit Debbie the Egg Chef, was always waiting to prepare omelettes or crepes etc to order.
I was especially grateful to Tina and Anestatia who went out of their way to assist me with a request that I had.
The entertainment each evening, whilst dining and also in the VIP Bar was first rate.
The sun beds and umbrella's of a high quality and towels always to hand. The beach staff, especially Shaun, were always helpful and accommodating as were the staff who provided refreshments to guests on their 'sun bed'. The fact that you could sign for any beverages meant that you didn't need to handle cash.
The location of the hotel is perfect and close enough to the hustle and bustle of Paphos Harbour, but far enough away to be quiet and serene. We usually strolled along the beach front to the Harbour after breakfast to help with calorie control. Equally the Paphos Bus company have an excellent bus service which stops quite close to the front of the hotel and costs just €1 for a single journey or €3 for a day ticket. The buses run in both directions around every 10 minutes.
The hotel has a very good gym, with well-maintained equipment and the Elixir Spa has a team of highly trained therapist's. I had a treatment and was very impressed with the facility. The representatives lounge is comfortable and welcoming. The mini-market is well stocked and competively priced.
The General Manager, Dino Tano leads from the front and by example and this ensures that nothing escapes his attention. He is totally committed to the provision of a very high level of Customer Service for each guest. We found that every member of his management team and their staff shared his values and by the time we left we felt as though we were leaving friends behind. The whole experience can be likened to being welcome guests at a house party and as we were accompanied out to our taxi, the staff seemed genuinely sorry to see us go. For two pins I would have checked straight back in as two weeks of bliss in this adults only hotel is simply not enough.

We have just returned (July 2012) from this Hotel . We originally found it with a google search on hotels with no children . They refurbished a couple of years ago and changed it into a 5 * child free hotel . We absolutely loved it ..no lilo's in the pool , and usually just a couple of people at a time swimming and all very calm and tranquil. The Suites were brilliant and made it feel very special. We couldnt fault the staff and the Hotels 'Quality' ethos shows through in all areas , accommodation, staff etc . Once there it was also nice to find that there were no incremental charges for everything as you sometimes find. We didnt take the half board option which worked well for us there are plenty of eateries in town of a good standard. Room service is great though with everthing arriving on a trolley with tablecloths, ready to eat on the verandah, and reasonably priced. Definately a 5* experience and we left feeling very 'decompressed' . We are planning to go back next time we need some chill time , and of course you dont have to book in multiples of a week etc so will go for a few days next time, courtesy of easyjet.
