How much do we like the Asimina Suites hotel? We've just got back from our fourth stay and are in the process of booking to go back for next year!

We've stayed at another 2 Constantinou Brothers hotels in the same area but we liked what we saw of this one when they'd shown us around the previous year while they were building it and we were staying next door at the Pioneer. It was opened around the time of the Iceland volcano and we must have been amongst the first to stay. We've liked it so much, we've been back every year since!

The food is excellent and the restaurants and bars are ideal. We've become friendly with the regular staff like Mario, Maria, Barbora, George, Robert and Bogdan and pool boy Scott.

Of course, they have no control over the weather and it's too hot for us at the height of summer so we go either March-April or September and we've never had anything other than long, sunny perfect days and warm still nights every time we've been.

For us, it has been another perfect holiday with everything just right!

My husband and I stayed at Asimina Suites from the 1st September 2013. It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and I could not think of a nicer place to be. The hotel is immaculate very comfortable the suites are very spacious and well equipped. Hotel staff from the Hotel Manager to the Pool Attendants everyone is helpful and cannot do enough for you to make your stay relaxing and memorable. The food is excellent and caters for every taste excellent selection. My husband had arranged a special meal for our anniversary and it was excellent we had a table at the end of the pier and were waited on by our own two waiters who catered for just us all evening it was the most romantic and memorable time ever. The pier was lite with candles and the dinner table was set out with flowers , specially made menus and candles. Wonderful experience. All I can now say is Thank You to all staff at the Asimina Suites. If you want a relaxing and a pampered holiday then this is the place for you. Definetly worth a stay. Seeing is believing.

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent. Sea view is worth the upgrade.

Thoroughly enjoyed a two week stay here recently. This is the top rated of four Constantinou Bros' hotels along this stretch of coastline. A convenient twenty minute drive from Paphos airport, it is true to say planes pass over fairly low, although we did not consider the attendant noise a problem at all.
Check-in was very professionally handled in a separate area away from reception with champagne and canapes which got our holiday off to the best possible start. We opted for a standard sea-view room on the fourth floor with a full-length balcony following expert opinion from our travel agent and we were not disappointed. Good size, well configured and well appointed with a good size bathroom too. My advice is to be completely clear about the room you want. The Executive suites on the ground floor that come with their own pool looked nice enough, although some appeared to be permanently in the shade, not all had a full sea view and none were afforded much privacy.
Sunbathing available around a great swimming pool, in the garden or on the beach, which although modest in size, is sandy and just about the best beach along this part of the south west coastline. We did not have any problems at all securing sunbeds in our favoured position in the garden and the excellent Scott and George are always around to help sort out towels and umbrellas. The lack of children, and the noise they invariably bring, does make for greater tranquility and peacefulness, which we both appreciated.
We enjoyed a couple of massages during the course of our stay and these were very good and not overly expensive. Recommended.
The food is exceptional. Very good choice at breakfast. The Kymata restaurant which fronts the sea is absolutely delightful for both lunch and dinner. A great menu, not over complicated, and the service is excellent too. Not to be missed. You will need to book 24h in advance for dinner. We tried the a la carte restaurant one evening and were the only diners in there! Operates the same. or very similar, menu to Kymata.
The walk to Paphos town (i.e. towards the old harbour) is at least 40 minutes away and because the coastal pathway is neither completely paved nor fully lit, isn't always as nice an experience as it could be. The local council should sort this out as it could be a really delightful feature. Three noteworthy restaurants to try in Paphos are; Mandra's Tavern, Chloe's (Chinese) and Theo's seafood restaurant adjacent to the marina.
Based on our experience, there are only a couple of areas in need of improvement. Firstly, the drinks service in the evening when sitting outside in the lounge bar was absolutely woeful. Virtually everytime we chose to sit there for pre-dinner drinks, I had to go and hunt for a waitress. Secondly, waitress drinks service in the garden in the morning is very patchy until at least 11.30AM. Any establishment seeking to justify a five star rating should have enough staff on duty to fully meet the needs of its clients.
Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay. I have no doubt that we will return to Paphos in the next 2-3 years and I am equally as certain that we will stay here.

We have just got back from our Honeymoon where we spent 10 nights at Asimina Suites. Cannot fault the hotel at all, everything was perfect. The staff are so helpful and welcoming and always around whenever you need them, couldn't ask for any better. The food and drinks in all four restaurants and 3 Bars were top class. The Suites have everything you could ever need and were immaculately cleaned and decorated as well as being very spacious. The hotel and location was absolutely perfect and we will definitely be coming back, would recommend to anyone who wants a child free holiday in Cyprus.

We are almost at the end of a fabulous time at Asimina. The child free hotel has offered great service in all the restaurants, bars and by the pool, special mention for Carmen. Our suite with it's own pool is gorgeous and gives us are own garden space with loungers but also a shaded area on the terrace when the sun gets too much!
The food has been exceptional - the Kymata a la carte is fronted by the extremely helpful Mario who cooked the best flambé steak my husband has ever eaten! Thank you Mario and your team of chefs and waiters - every evening has been a special occasion and culinary delight!

Room Tip: We chose a room with our own pool - it gives you the option of not needing to carry books etc to the...

Have been travelling around for the last 35 years and always stayed in 5 star accomodation.
First time in Cyprus but because of the Asimina, will not be the last.
I cannot find any faults in the hotel, food or service. All the attributes have been described by many.
So for all to know if you go to Paphos, just stay at the Asimina and if you could afford it, stay in the executive suites with private pool. It is definitely worth the extra cash.
My rating is 5.5 star.
Thank you again to all staff especially Miruna(reception) and Robert and Magdalena(restaurant) and will definitely be back!!!

Stayed in the Asimina Hotel to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. On arrival we were given a glass of champagne.
In the suite on arrival there was a bottle of wine, fruit and cakes to greet us.
They noticed on arrival that I had celebrated my birthday the previous day - so was really surprised when a rather large stunning chocolate cake was delivered to our suite and you guessed it when it was my husband's birthday we had another stunning cake.
Every holiday we go on we miss our bed not this time the bed was huge and so comfortable.
The level of cleanliness in and around the hotel is immaculate.
The staff in the restaurants are helpful polite and attentive and not over familiar. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the evening buffet we found better than the a la carte restaurants.
When we stayed it was extremely hot 51C at times so the air-conditioning was a must but it was so quiet and efficient we did not realise it was on.
Scott needs a mention as he was extremely helpful during our stay Cheers Scott.
I agree with other reviews that a beach side or poolside dedicated bar would be a bonus, there is a sports bar but located inside the hotel.
The only negatives that I could find was that the carpets are a bit worn and weary.
Also it is very close to the airport and in the direct flight path, during the day it was quite entertaining but during the late evening and early morning it was rather annoying.
