Superb value for money. Don't get me wrong, it's not 5 star, but you know that by the value, however, the food is fine, it is immaculately clean (they seem to be forever cleaning!) and the staff can't do enough for you. Location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the harbour, and All Inclusive is so cheap you'll have a bit left over to grab a cheap lunch by the sea too!
Would definitely recommend going over to Papa George's - drinks are still AI and you feel like you've gone somewhere else, and the hospitality is great! Yes, there are a lot of retired people there, and they do all know each other - they treat it like a second home, but they welcome you into it - I can see why they go back year after year. If you want 5 star don't go, but if you want value for money, handy location and a friendly welcome from staff and guests, this is the place

First time we have stayed in this hotel and visited Paphos. The hotel was very friendly and many British people we met come back year after year. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was always fresh and tasty, English, Continental, fresh fruits, cereals, and more. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. Anything you needed the reception were sure to help you and always with a smile. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for pool facing if you don't mind a little noise although when we stayed there wasn't an...

stayed at this hotel for a week 9/10/13.The hotel is in a great location, just a 5 min walk to the harbour and sea front.Plenty of bars and resturants around the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They would do anything to help. The food in the restaurant is ok but could have beem warmer. If you are on all inclusive you can order from the bar menu at lunch time and this is very good. The drinks are of a good standard and always served with a smiling face. The bedrooms are fine but the bathroom a bit small. The hotels caters for a lot of elderly people who used this as a home from home and stay for weeks at at time. There is bingo and quizzes twice a week and a couple of singers a couple of nights. There is sports bar over the road which belongs to the hotel so you can use your all inclusive there as well which gave the feeling you were out of the hotel. The hotel is looking a bit jaded but for what you pay and the welcome you get it is worth a visit.

Room Tip: room over looking the pool if you are not early to bed as you could get a bit of noise from the bar

Stayed at the Nereus 2 weeks in October 2013. The place is very clean, and the lounge looked as if it had been recently refurbished. The dining area was also nice. The two swimming pools are clean but the sea was warmer. The bedrooms are in need of an upgrade and the only programmes you can get on the out of date TV`s are world news which is repeated all day long, The choice of food is not great but it is well cooked, but green veg. is lacking. Papa George always has time for a chat as does Kostas. The staff are all very pleasant and obliging, and any problems are dealt with promptly. Ask for a quiet room if you are not into Karaoke as this can go on till late. It is only a ten minute walk to the seafront which is very nice with plenty of bars and eating places. Overall a pleasant stay and wish the Nereus well..

Room Tip: A quiet room is away from the pool area

What can I say . . . . if Bingo & Karaoke are your thing then you will love it, if you want Cypriot culture then avoid it, well avoid all of Pafos. The beds were incredibly hard and the pools were freezing, the food was fine but not very Cypriot (like the rest of Pafos). Having said that, the staff were friendly and helpful, it is within walking distance of the bus station (so you can get out of Pafos) it was clean and well maintained and the lunch time a la carte snack menu was a pleasant change for an all-inclusive hotel. Not my cup of tea at all but if you want England in the sun then you will love it.

This hotel was in a good location, and staff pleasant. We had an apartment so cannot comment on the hotel rooms. Our apartment was of a decent size but was very tired looking. The kitchen was poor. The cupboards and drawers falling apart and in the bedroom. The extractor fan in the bathroom was broken and held together with folded up cardboard wedged in it and tape. Our balcony overlooked a private property and they had a dog that liked to bark a lot. We were half board and the food was nice enough..not much variety. Must say it is mainly older couples this hotel attracts and is quite quiet but good if that's what you are looking for. Overall if they just spend a little more time sorting out the faults in the apartments it's a nice little hotel.
