We stayed just one night to save money on flights home after having enjoyed a week in a villa in Latchi. The price was amazing - £22 including breakfast.

We had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel - it took a few attempts round the one-way roads before we found it. There is a narrow entrance down the side of the hotel which leads to a small car park that holds up to about 5 cars, as it was off season it was quiet so we had no problem parking.

The check in was efficient and we found the room to be very clean and smelled lovely. The facilities were basic; shower, toilet, small flat screen tv safe and small balcony but completely adequate and fine for one night.

Hairdryers were available from reception. If you like your tea & coffee there are no facilities in the room so you'd need to go down to the bar/ lounge area.

Breakfast was coffee, tea, orange juice, cake, biscuits, toast, cheese, deli meat and olives.

We had drinks in the bar in the evening which was pleasant, however I imagine it may get noisy in high season as there are bars each side and opposite.

The harbour area is less than a 5 min walk away , Panagia Chrysopolitissa Church is literally 1minute round the corner , in fact we could see it from our balcony. You have loads of shops, restaurants and bars right on the doorstep.

In summary; for the money it was very good value - however it is fairly basic so it's probably not somewhere you'd want to stay for more than a few nights.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and although, as has been mentioned in other reviews, there is no lift, the receptionist was more than happy to carry my bag upstairs for me. The room was basic, but had plenty of storage space and a safe, which I deem necessary in this day and age. Yes, the shower was small, but I never had any problem with the water pressure or hot water. Room was cleaned every day and towels changed every third day. This is explained in the room's details left on the table, but you can request changes more often if necessary. As I was staying for 10 days, as a base for touring around, it was ideal.

As a solo female, I found the staff more than happy to help and nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to answer any queries and if they didn't know something, they went to find out the answer and didn't leave you standing, as in some establishments! Yes, breakfast was the same each day, but you could have as much as you wanted and they refilled the toast rack as many times as you wished.

This is a small, basic, but very well run, friendly hotel and very good value for money. Only a few minutes walk from the sea, local bus routes, restaurants etc. If that is what you want, I cannot recommend it more highly.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear of the property are quieter.

The Pyramos hotel is very a very clean and friendly hotel and the staff are really helpful.

However you do get what you pay for and the comfort of the rooms is not great. The safe in our room didn't work properly and we couldn't open it so the manager had to come out with his key. To be fair he came very promptly but it made me uneasy about using it again. The room was cold too and neither the radiator or air con system worked. Insufficient bedding in the room and the quilt barely covered the width of the bed so no overhang. Bathroom was really small and difficult to have a decent shower. No hair dryers in the room but you could borrow one from reception. Breakfast was just toast, ham, cheese and jams with a DIY job for tea and coffee but the water was not hot enough for tea. Fruit juice was also provided.

It advertises free parking but this is a space along the side of the hotel with little room for turning around.

WiFi provided and that was very good.

Overall it was very good value for money and very central for seeing all of Kato Paphos.

I stayed in this hotel for five nights and for friendliness of the staff it was hard to beat. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them and they were always pleasant, which was reassuring as I was travelling alone.
My room was fine and I had a balcony (although no view as such), which got a lot of sun. The room was cleaned everyday and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. Towels were changed once during my stay, which was sufficient for me and I am sure they could have been changed more frequently if I had wanted. Like others have said, the shower rooms are small and the shower itself is squeezed into a corner but the water pressure was great and the water was invariably very hot, so no complaints there. The glass in the small window in my shower room was cracked and a notice was pinned to it saying it would be fixed shortly so if anyone reading this has room 201, please note I didn't do it!!
Breakfasts were more than ample, juices, cold meats, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, cake and biscuits plus an ever replenished supply of toast and of course tea and coffee. Yes, it was the same everyday but you could eat as much as you liked, no restrictions.
The bar was pleasant although very quiet at this time of year. They make a good brandy sour there. The televisions weren't intrusive and I was even asked if I would like the background music turned down if it was too loud.
The location is very convenient, close to bars and restaurants, the harbour and the bus station. It is also worth noting that if anyone is out there to take part in the Cyprus marathon races (I did the 10k) it is convenient enough to run the race, go back to shower and change and still get back to watch the marathon runners come in and enjoy the festivities afterwards.
This is a great basic no nonsense hotel. The price is good value for money. Would I stay here again - definitely.

Arrived at approx 12 noon on Tuesday the 4th of March. Room was already available and we were 2 hours early. No lift but only 1 flight of stairs and receptionist offered to help us. Very friendly staff run this hotel and they always have a smile on their faces. Barman likes to have a laugh and is very amusing. Breakfast is continental with meats and cheese and copious amounts of toast. This hotel is very well situated as it is just a short walk from all the amenities but just far enough away to remain peaceful at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cyprus and the Pyramos and its staff enhanced this.

Room Tip: Can only comment on our own room-106. Small balcony looking over to other properties but all in all...

We stayed the one night and had no problems at all with the Pyramos. Room was small but not intrusively so and was very clean. The free WIFI in the room was fast enough to watch TV without buffering and the breakfast nice. Limited parking next to hotel but we got a space. Would stay again.
