Just returned for our 2nd stay here and also our wedding took place here, what can I say I had total trust in Liza, who was always a pleasure to deal with, the whole wedding from start to end was a dream and Liza knows her business, lots of extras if you are getting married here, but for me it was the care and attention that Liza and other members of the staff gave that made our day so wonderful, we used the hotel for the hair and make up book really cheap and was very happy with the results (blowdry €15.00)
bride hair up €35.00 and brides make up €35.00, our cake we got from Jo @ loveislandcakes and the mens suits we hired, photos we're taken by someone the hotel uses, all I can say is get married here and leave all the stress at home.
Special special thanks go to Liza, Sonia and Barbara
Now onto the hotel
loads of sunbeds, towels for sun beds changed daily (opp the gym)
food great as always, staff at reception and shop always helpful
rooms cleaned daily and if requested also towels, the hotel always looked clean and tidy, and there was always a member of staff that would say hi to you.
both BBC1 and ITV on flat screen TV's in the room, sport shown is bar
we had four members of our wedding party staying at the Annabelle Hotel and they all said that the Avanti was much better.
611 bus runs about every 10 mins and cost €1.50 single that will take you to the harbour (bus station)
I have read the other reports and I'm a bit confused.com how someone can moan about picking a plum up and that it looked ok but was rotten when they took a bite!!!! how do they think the hotel would know this?? very unfair IMO

Looking forward to going back next year

Room Tip: pool view music stops at about 11.30 so not much noise after this

The good thing about this place is its close enough to walk into Paphos(25mins) but far enough out to be away from the hustle on bustle.
Our room was on the second floor with a mountain view in the background and some fruit trees in the foreground. On a morning you got some sunshine and it was in a quiet location, on a evening it was usually a quiet location as the majority of entertainment was outside the other side of the hotel with the exception of karaoke(1night) which was held in the bar but that was over about 11:20. Basic but clean rooms overall.
Food- we stayed B&B so only had breakfast but it was of a decent standard, plenty for those that want a Full English or if you wanted something else you could have cereal or fruit salads.
Pool- decent size(in October anyway) and never full in our 7night stay, clean but it was a touch on the cold side but aren't they all when you first get in.
Like I said the hotel is in a great location, 2minutes walk from the sea,1minute walk to the nearest bank, bars and restaurants and if you don't fancy walking into Paphos Harbour you can catch a bus from the bottom of the hotel for just €1.50

This was our 6th time to Paphos and our 5th stay at the Avanti Hotel. Check in swift as usual with a glass of fresh orange. Very welcoming after a long journey. Rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious and have everything needed including fridge, hairdryer and tea/ coffee for arrival. Bathrooms are perhaps in need of improvement but clean and serviceable. Stayed B&B as usual. Breakfast has enough choice to suit all. Loungers at pool are uncomfortable! We have never felt the pool as cold. It was freezing although the temperature was 27degrees. Therefore no-one ventured in! Reception staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful. Especially Vaiya? Not sure if that's her name. Went out of her way to help with our transfers. Maids cleaning the rooms work extremely hard and are so kind. Although we are returning next year to Paphos and staying somewhere else (villa) we would highly recommend this hotel for families and couples. We know we will return and happily stay here again.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms get the sun all afternoon. Rear view rooms look towards inland but are extremely cool and quiet.

We stayed at the Avanti Hotel last year and again this September, on both occasions we had an enjoyable stay. The rooms are of a good standard and cleaned daily, the bed linen and towels are changed regularly. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to breakfast, whether you like it cooked or cold, there’s something to suit most tastes. We came on a B.B. basis and used the hotels evening flexi- dine, which allows you to purchase vouchers, in advance, to use any day during your stay, this offers good value. For those of you, like us, who need to consider accessibility we can say, from first-hand experience that there are ramps to all communal areas; we had no problems using a wheelchair.

From the moment you enter the hotel, the staff could not do enough. Plenty of email addresses given if anything needs to be altered. The place was clean, smart, cool and airy. The rooms overlooking the pool were marvelous and not noisy unless you intend to sleep before midnight. Every facility we required, either in the room or hotel, was provided. A walk to the harbour each evening passes numerous good Taverns and bars. A very enjoyable, quiet, stress free holiday.
