Would recommend this hotel to all. Staff were second to none. We had a large wedding party in paphos and from what I can gather we had the BEST HOTEL there. Towel changed daily, sheets changed every 2 days apartment cleaned daily cannot fault it. Manager Andreas brilliant.we had 4 apartments all inclusive although equipment in flats adequate for self catering. Will definitely return next year along with majority of wedding party ! Sorry Andreas if you are reading this there was 50 guests at my nieces wedding

Dear guest,

Thank you for spending your recent holiday at the King Jason, even though your niece's wedding was at another hotel in Paphos.

We are very proud that, having seen other properties around here, you feel we are the best of the bunch. We would be delighted to welcome most of you on All Inclusive next year, and everybody at the King Jason can't wait to have you here.

We spent 10 days in the Louis King Jason and had a lovely time. We stayed bed and breakfast with the option to self cater for the rest of the meals. The people who went on all inclusive we're clearly enjoying their meals and the availability of food and drink all day. We tended to eat in the 'tourist area' including the harbour area and found loads of good restaurants. The hotel itself was clean, the food was really good and the staff were fantastic. We had great service and we really enjoyed ourselves. The tourist area is about a 10 minute walk away and the old town about 20 mins (uphill) or there's a cheap, convenient bus service. We will definitely go to the Louis King Jason again when we return to Paphos.

After reading all the reviews about this hotel on here we have just recently returned from a one week family holiday at the Louis King Jason. I have to say this was the best all inclusive holiday we have ever experienced given we just wanted some relaxing time together as a family. The hotel environment is very calming and the service you receive from all staff is first class. Nothing is too much trouble and the attention to detail particularly by Andreas and Maria is second to none. There is a good variety and quality of food on a daily basis and plenty of drink options available.
We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for providing us with the holiday we were looking for !!! Willis family.

We, or rather I, as Glen could not make it due to a family illness - have just returned home from a relaxing week in Apartment 83 of The King Jason! As mentioned in previous reviews we are regular visitors to the King Jason and have been since 1996.The King Jason is literally our "Second Home" and we are already looking forward to our next holiday in April 2014! That speaks for itself as to how we feel about the place. Each visit is a Chapter in the story - or is that the saga!

The superb and friendly staff is led by the ever present and as always totally irrepressible Andreas, supported by Maria Andreou on the restaurants and Maria Ainsley on reception - and a reliable friendly staff many of whom have been at the King Jason for quite a few years and now joined by a few new members who are friendly, helpful and welcoming!

It is a pleasure to be greeted by Andreas, the two Marias, the staff and the cats. It is great to arrive but such a wrench to leave at the end of the holiday!

We have said before that this complex is an oasis of tranquility and a place to relax totally in the warm welcoming surroundings with a chance to recharge your batteries. As such there is no entertainment on an evening which pleases most of the guests!

When we first arrived at the King Jason in September 1996 it stood very much alone except for the adjacent shop and some houses. Over the years we have witnessed the building of various structures around the King Jason steadily getting closer. However as most of the apartments and studios overlook the central pool area then this really has not been a problem as this helps the feeling of seclusion. Last year the work on extending the complex commenced with the building of four accommodation blocks on an adjacent site. They are complete and in use with very good comments from other guests on the decor of the new apartments.

The apartments and studiosin the original building - we have stayed in both over the years - are comfortable and well equipped including satellite TV. The apartments have had new bathrooms fitted along with updated kitchen facilities within the past 18 months ensuring the comfort of the guests.

The hotel facilities are good and cater for most visitors with a gym, steam room , sauna, indoor plunge pool and a mini market - which does freshly baked bread and beautiful muffins!. These facilities have been added to as part of the recent refurbishment with an outdoor hydro pool and accompanying sun terrace. The main dining area has been extended by enclosing the adjacent terrace restaurant to form two beautiful modern restaurants.

The dining in the King Jason is good value with a varied choice. Apart from a very good breakfast, there is a cloice between the A la Carte menu or buffet at lunchtime - having experienced both they are toroghly recommended! The delights of the restaurants on an evening are worth trying especially as there are now theme nights e.g Cypriot, Italian etc.The Restaurnats are managed by Maria Andreou ably assisted by the Head Chef, Yorgos, and I can vouch for the fact that the food is very good!

For those that want to dine out either for lunch or evening meal then there are some good restaurants within easy walking distance of the King Jason - and easy staggering back! Our favourite lunchtime venue is "The Nest" which is located on the coast road opposite "The Annabelle Hotel". It is ideally located to enjoy a salad, sandwich and a drink - soft or alcoholic - while out for a walk along the sea front! Our favourite reataurant for evening meals is "The Georgia" on the corner of Konstantias and tefkrou Streets which run by Chris and is very good!

There is a cosmopolitan mixture of guests from the UK, Holland, Sweden, Germany and other places including Lithuania which enhances the friendly welcoming atmosphere of the King Jason.

We must mention the cats at the King Jason who are brilliant and one - Cleopatra - has been there since the complex opened. They are healthy and well looked after by the majority of the guests who love them and they are part of the attraction and one of the main reasons in us returning to the King Jason on a very regular basis. There are some cats from neighbouring properties who visit as they must have heard about the menu! The staff always try to ensure that the cats stay out of the restaurant as much as possible so as to not disturb the diners but feline cunning sometimes prevails whereupon they are "escorted out"! So if you are not a cat person be warned - most of the returning guests do like them!

Andreas and his staff are without doubt an asset to the Louis Group and as such may we take this opportunity to wish him and his staff all the best and to keep up the tireless work in maintaining the popularity of the King Jason - without them the place would not be the same! They are one of the other reasons we keep returning! See you again soon!

Dear repeat guest,

Words cannot express how grateful we are for your visits at the King Jason throughout the years.

You spoke beautifully and the words 'thank you' cannot do your comment any justice at all. We are truly, truly humbled and in tears after reading your post...it is evident that our love for the King Jason is continuous and shared.

We can't wait for April.

Recently returned from a fantastic week at the King Jason. Had previously emailed asking for refurbished pool view rooms, was pleasantly surprised to find out we had been allocated two new rooms and two rooms facing the pool as previously requested. The food was off a high quality and the all inclusive drinks were the usual local brands. Having extensively travelled in a number of countries I have never encountered such personal attention from the managers and staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out their way to go that extra mile. .
50 guests arrived in Paphos for my daughters wedding, staying in different hotels. Prior to the wedding several guests came to our hotel and were welcomed by the manager, after the wedding my daughter and her new husband were invited to have lunch and spend the day with us, a gesture which we sincerely appreciated.
Will definitely be returning in the not too distant future

Room Tip: New rooms are worth paying extra for.

Dear guest,

Thank you for holidaying at the King Jason.

It was a delight to have you with us and share your joy at your daughter's wedding. Even though the wedding happened elsewhere, the least we could do to express our congratulations was invite them over for lunch. We are very happy that you appreciate this and rest assured that genuine hospitality is our most important word at the King Jason.

We can't wait to welcome you again.

We arrived at the Louis King Jason in the early hours of 21st October, we were greeted and checked in quickly before we were shown to our room. A nice touch was four plates of sandwiches and the fridge stocked with water, which was just what we all needed.
Accommodation: Our apartment was for four people, two of the beds were in the lounge area and the others in a separate bedroom; these were twin beds. The room was clean and spacious with a lounge, kitchen and dining area. The bathroom was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. It had a bath with shower over which was powerful and always hot. Although we were All Inclusive and didn't need to use the kitchen area, it was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a coffee machine. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels left when requested. There was a TV which had some English channels and there was also a DVD player. The patio over-looked one of the pools, but was a little small for a family of four; we were three adults and a 14 year old. The room, however, was more than adequate and there was no need for plug adaptors as the sockets were English style.
Pools and Bathing Area: There was plenty of comfortable sun-loungers and parasols around both pools with no need to get up early to "reserve" one. The hotel provided large towels for sun bathing which could be replaced upon requested. There was a family pool, with a small children's area and a larger Hydro pool with a Jacuzzi and other areas with power jets. It even had a spin bike and a small treadmill at one end! The pool, at first, was a little cold but lovely when you needed a break from the heat. The pool area was very well maintained and staff came round with fruit, cakes and cold wipes during the day.
Location: The hotel is situated in a quiet, residential area but only a 15 minute walk from the livelier harbour where there are numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The harbour does have people trying to get your business, but they are not too pushy and a polite "no thank you" works. We hired a 150BHP speedboat at the harbour for 50 Euros and had a great time; we did
haggle a little. We would also recommend the enormous ice cream which are delicious and come in a huge variety of flavours.
Food and Drink: Wonderful ! We have been to many all inclusive hotels, some 5 star ones in Mexico, Dubai and Thailand, The Louis King Jason seriously holds it's own. The food was exceptional, plentiful and a good variety. Breakfast had every type of egg, fresh omelettes, fresh pancakes and waffles, continental breakfast, cereal and a good selection of hot food. Lunch and dinner were fantastic and and themed each night. The food was cooked fresh and it felt like you were dining in a high class restaurant. The desserts were beautiful, usually they look better than they taste but not here, they are truly fantastic which is not good for the waistline!! The dining experience is made more enjoyable by the free flowing wine which is brought to you when your glass is less than half full. The wine is very good quality and the choice of red, white or rose even Champagne if you fancy it. The drinks at the bar are just as good, cocktails available all day, with mocktails and milkshakes for the kids. The spirits and beer is local produced but very good and available all day.
Summary: We had a brilliant week relaxing in the sun which was made easy due to the staff being so attentive. Every single one of them wanted to help and had a smile on their face. Andreas and Maria are so friendly and helpful, it was as if you were dining at their home and the were hosting a dinner party. The attention to detail was incredible, and the way all of the staff made you feel so welcome is to their credit. We will be returning next year and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Thank you to Andreas, Maria and their staff for such a wonderful week.

We recently returned from a 2 weeks stay at the King Jason, our third visit in 10 months. After reading some of the comments left by others who were obviously there at the same time, I feel I must refute some of their comments. There are 6 cats around the hotel grounds, many very old and they don't bother you unless you want them to. There are lots of stray cats in Cyprus and you cannot control a cat wandering between places as you can a dog. Andreas and Maria are genuinely interested in people and want to ensure you are completely satisfied. They are not intrusive at all. All the staff are helpful and efficient and cannot do enough to help. As an older couple, we appreciate the lack of loud entertainment. However, if you do want more, this is readily available a 10 minutes walk away. We stay half board and find the food excellent and varied. The web site for the hotel is very clear as to its location so you should be aware that it is situated in a quiet part of Paphos before you arrive. We cannot wait to go back again and we certainly will. Thank you all for a great 2 weeks. Linda & Dave

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool have sunlight most of the day.
