Stayed at the King Jason November 13th- 20th. We arrived to a very warm welcome from Andreas. We were then shown to our beautiful apartment that certainly had the WOW factor B104. just beautiful. We had a bottle of fizz waiting for us and some local wine which was such a lovely touch. We already decided we had made a very good choice and then we went to dinner which totally confirmed our decision.
The service we received at dinner was superb. The staff very attentive and constantly topping up drinks. The food was of excellent quality and choice. Andreas and Maria lead by example and it shows. Both were there to greet you at dinner and breakfast and to ask about your day. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all amazing. The added touches of bringing fruit and cold towels round the pool makes this hotel stand out from the rest. The hydro pool is amazing with an exercise bike and treadmill to help you lose those extra pounds you will certainly gain! . We always think there is so many places to go in the world that we would never go back but this is definitely a hotel we would return to in a heart beat. Keep up the good work King Jason-we will return to your beautiful hotel. Thank you so much, Veronica and David

Room Tip: Up grade to a deluxe if you can. Well worth .

We have just returned from lovely week at the King Jason. We stayed b&b- as we like to try different restaurants. We did have dinner in the hotel on our first night as we arrived late, and found the buffet fresh and tasty, with plenty of choice. There was plenty of choice in the breakfast buffet, including fresh fruit, juices, bread/rolls/croissants/pastries, local Cypriot foods, and cooked breakfast items, with a cook to order egg/omelette station.
The hotel shop sells some groceries and milk, and newspapers/postcards/small gifts and stamps- which is very handy!
Our studio was lovely, large, clean, with a small kitchenette( we used the fridge and kettle only!)and balcony to sit on. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom modern, with fluffy towels and plenty hot water.
The pool area is beautiful. There is a charge for the inroom safe and in room wifi- if you want these.
There is a10min walk to the harbour and restaurants- but that means the hotel is in a quiet residential street. The old town market is within walking distance( uphill- 8euro by taxi). There is plenty of choices of where to eat/drink, even in November- and the prices are very reasonable, steak dinner 12 euros, dinner for 2 with bottle of wine( not house), dessert, coffee, brandy 50 euros, pint of beer by harbour 2-3 euros. There are some very cheap offers for English breakfast 2-3 euros, set menu 3 course dinner 10-12 euros.
The best thing about the King Jason, though, is the attentive staff- who are unfailingly pleasant, cheery, and at your elbow- but not intrusive. The manager seems always to hand too. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a holiday in comfort in Paphos.

Room Tip: Even the standard studio is huge, and comfortable

Dear guest,

We thank you for visiting the King Jason during your recent holiday.

We are delighted that the attentiveness of our staff was the number one factor towards your satisfaction; walls and furnishings are not enough to make a hotel special and we are proud of our team for extending their warm service out to our guests at every opportunity. Thank you for giving Tripadvisor readers some much needed information about our vicinity, and let us add that the biggest mall in Cyprus is now also within walking distance of our hotel! The Kings Avenue Mall provides ample opportunities for entertainment and is a 5 minute walk from the King Jason.

Hopefully we have done enough to earn a repeat visit from you in the future and it would be nothing but a pleasure to welcome you back to our hotel.

Regards,

We have returned from our stay at the Louis king jason. Thoroughly enjoyable, we were made welcome from the moment we arrived until the time we left by all members of staff and the manager always goes that extra mile for every guest.
Having stayed at numerous hotels in many countries, what a breath of fresh air to see a manager who leads by example and is very hands on, not afraid if hard work and takes his time to speak to all guests, such a pleasant change from many hotel managers who appear aloof!!!
Restaurant and bar staff are all very attentive, nothing is too much trouble.
Food is of excellent quality, very well presented and cooked beautifully.
Accommodation is excellent, very clean, modern and comfortable.
We will be returning ver soon......thank you all at the king jason for making our stay, as usual a very enjoyable one.

we all needed a relaxing holiday and that is what we got,the rooms were large as they were used for s/catering,we stayed all/in ,when you got a drink or dined the staff just asked for your room number, which was much better than wearing an arm band like other louis hotels on the island.. We went as two couples myself ,my wife, her sister and my brother in law,I think we were lucky when we stayed there as there was two weddings during our stay, and they were cracking couples, which made the lack of entertainment (of which we knew of before we stayed there)seem meaningless as we kept us all entertained.Certain areas are due to change next year,as a smoker it was nice to be able to sit with all the others and not have to stand half a mile up the road and not offend others ,the pool and sunbeds were clean with pillows ,cusions, double ones if you want, depending when you go..The food i thought personally was really good, the wife thought the pheathon was better (sorry Andreas). For those that like a decent pint the keo is good, the wine does vary quite a bit .the staff,at first we thought they were over friendly but as the week went on we enjoyed there little chats, but the main thing 4 us was the people who stayed there and being able to relax

Room Tip: we had a large balcony but no views, but close to reception (room 44)

Dear guest,

Many thanks for your recent visit of the King Jason.

It was wonderful to welcome a loyal Louis Hotels guest to our property and we are delighted that our Company managed to offer you another relaxing stay. Your feedback is much appreciated and we will use it for our ongoing improvement. You are spot on that some areas are due to change next year and more specifically the seating areas. We are extending the restaurant terrace to improve the levels of comfort during meal times, and will in turn be moving the bar lounge where the supermarket is currently located. The bar lounge will extend to a fifth swimming pool which will be adults only and all-weather. The supermarket will be moved closer to the main pool at a location which can service both the main building as well as the new studios. Finally, we will be bringing all rooms to the standard of our new deluxe studios so that the whole property will be of the same standard of comfort.

Hopefully these changes will entice you for a return visit to the King Jason.

We chose this Apartotel from reviews in Trip Advisor for our first trip to Cyprus and it met all our expectations. A couple of small problems with the room on arrival were sorted immediately with profuse apologies. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, the food in the hotel (when we chose to eat there) was exemplary and the Hydro Pool was FANTASTIC!!!!!

If I had to be niggly, it is a little too far from town & the sea front for anyone who is not 100% mobile. The information is not readily forthcoming unless you quiz the reception staff. Most of us independent travellers are used to sorting things ourselves rather than using reps or reception staff. As a "for instance" it was only at the end of our stay that I discovered by accident that the hotel rents out cars at cheaper rates than I had been paying at the commercial outlets in town.

I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Paphos. The prices are very reasonable, the staff are some of the best I have encountered anywhere (particularly the manager who has a very English sense of humour). For us, we enjoyed our time in Paphos but found it expensive and there being nothing that would entice us back again after a 10 day holiday.

Room Tip: We had room 30 which had the sun on the balcony in the morning for breakfast.

Dear guest,

Many thanks for reviewing the King Jason following a recent holiday.

We are happy that you enjoyed our hotel and that everything you read on the internet proved to be truthful. We are of course disappointed that we were unable to fulfill your information requirements and for this we would like to apologize. Any minute now we will receive the prints for our welcome leaflet which will be provided upon arrival to all guests. We believe that it will solve the problem and that from now on our guests will not need to rely on reps for their information. We do understand your criticism regarding the location, especially at this time of the year where most establishments are closed. Nevertheless the biggest shopping mall in Cyprus has just opened at a stone's throw from our hotel and certainly this will give new life to the vicinity of our hotel.

We are saddened that you will not be coming back to the King Jason and Paphos in general. Perhaps our upcoming renovation of the 78 main building rooms, as well as the construction of a new all-weather outdoor swimming pool could sway your decision. Both these initiatives will be ready by March 2014.

Regards,

The Management
