I wish I had listened to the reviews and not wasted my money on this hotel. We arrived and were given a room on the ground floor (knowing we had a 9 month old), there's no lift so we had to carry the pram up and down 2 flights of stairs. The staff aren't very friendly especially the waiters, during both breakfast and dinner they stood laughing and chatting between themselves instead of bothering with customers requiring drinks. The rooms are very poor, they definitely need refurbishing, our floor was covered in ants and the walls are very thin, we had to ring reception at 11pm due to a large Russian group having a party in the corridor keeping our baby awake.
They sold our room as a garden view, this is a view of weeds and the street with local alcoholics sat on the wall immediately in front of the room! The bathroom is dirty and the towels are paper thin. You aren't allowed to take a towel to the pool instead you have to pay €1 for a towels wouldn't dry my dog with!
The pool area is the only part which is ok although there's nothing for children to do despite advertising itself as child friendly. You can't sunbathe with bags on the floor because at least twice an hour a gardener hoses the floor to cool it down which is very uncomfortable as he stands right over you doing it and this made the floor slightly flooded and dirty which is no good for a crawling baby!
The breakfast is quite possibly the worst breakfast I have had the misfortune to eat, I wouldn't waste your time going you would be better staying hungry!
We appeared to be the only Brits in the hotel and I have never met such a miserable bunch of holidaymakers, the atmosphere from both them and the staff is horrible.
I would advise anyone thinking about staying don't waste your money, if you really want to see it go for a drink and you'll see you had a lucky escape!
