I have just returned from a holiday at Kefalos Beach Village aned cant praise them highly enough. The site itself is on the beach, the grounds are beautifully kept by their hardworking staff. There are shrubs and flowers everywhere,no litter and pathways kept clean and tidy. The staff at Kefalos are always very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The breakfast food is excellent in fact i cant think of anything more that could be wanted and isnt there..There are plenty of loungers around whether you choose to be by the pool or on the grass by the sea. I cannot praise Kefalos highly enough and will look forward to returning.

We have just arrived back home to a wet and miserable England, but even that cannot dampen our great memories of the Kefalos.
We booked for 3 weeks including a wedding package and trust me everything was outstanding!
Elena and all the staff including Dino,Chris,AJ could not do enough for us in the 3 weeks we were there. They looked after all our guest and family too!
We had the honeymoon suite which was great, the cleanliness, maid service, dining facility were also superb. The food was usually themed,i.e. Italian,Greek etc.on different nights, breakfast was always good, loads to choose from.
An absolute must for us to return in the future.Thank you all at the Kefalos you made our wedding day very very special.
Special note,Elena have a great time in Rome!!

Room Tip: Request a sea-view if possible, its worth it!

The Hotel was very pleasing. From the minute we got to the Reception Desk the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Big tip, (it's cheaper to book your B&B and Half Bord at the Hotel). We took this deal when we were checking in. If you rather go out to the Supermarket and cook meals yourself, then this offer may not sound too appealing, but if otherwise, you'll save some major cash by taking the Hotel's offer instead of a travel company's all-inclusive deal (average meal prices in surrounding restaurants range from 9 - 20 Euros per person).

Rooms were clean and bigger than expected. Someone in Tripadvisor mentioned that they are 1980's, but who cares about the year as long as evertyhing functions and it's in good condition and clean right? I've been in hotels where everything was fairly contemporary but half the appliances didn't work (microwave, hairdryer, iron, toilet, etc. etc..).

I did have a minor problem, the toilet took a couple tries to flush... It worked, just not to my expectations. In addition, the food was normal Hotel Food....Not great tasting, but good variety to satisfy most taste buds. Due to these facts, I gave the Hotel a 4 star rating and not 5.

A HUGE THANKS!!!! To the grounds crew who kept the grass so clean and the beach area ready everyday. I forgot my diving mask and my $200 Oakleys on one of the Beach Beds under the Beach Umbrella one evening and the next morning I went to the lost and found by the Pool Bar and they were both there :-) This is rare to find now a days, HONEST STAFF!!!!

The Beach - Don't expect Caribbean Sandy beaches... The sand is a combination of Sand and Pebbles. However, it's great to Snorkle and do some Diving! The semi-corals are full of life!!
I saw different types and sizes of fish everyday :-)

Animation is also good! I did everything except water gymnastics... Too femenine for me ;-)

Weather - Outstanding! Walking during the day is a punishment! It was so HOT! ;-)

Do I recommend this Hotel - Absolutely!!! Go Cyprus!

Room Tip: If you want peace of mind, don't get rooms next to the Pool area, can get too noisy. Also, be su...

We have just returned from Kefalos Village and had an excellent time. The rooms are a little dated but large and clean with kitchens. This resort is on the beach and the pool is great - they play music all day and have activities throughout the day and evening for both kids and adults. Food was very good and you can actually stay on the resort without leaving the whole time if you want.
Cons: no wifi in room - only in lobby and that was spotty at times
Pros: excellent store on the grounds if you need anything, EASY public transport around town which can be picked up a few blocks from the hotel, pretty good food that is not too expensive so that if you want to stay and just relax you can (kids menu as well)

Tips: McDonalds on the corner has AWESOME air conditioning and good wifi if you are out and about and need a break, definitely spend some time at the harbour, and you can skip the hop on hop off as the 1 euro public transport goes most of those places. Great place!

No complaints really ! Location nice n quiet,30 min walk to harbour along seafront,5 min walk to bus stop for 615 to harbour or coral bay for 1 euro, rooms are basic but comfortable, clean, well serviced and all the utensils you need for either self catering or dining out.Two of us,early 50s'! 2 weeks B n B. breakfasts had everything to suit unless you are hard to please ! Decided to take the offer of 3 days half board and were not disappointed for a very reasonable price ! Choice of main restaurant, pool bar or seafood restaurant overlooking sea ! Highly recommend seafood restaurant and excellent service from Christina ! Prices are better than some of the hard sells at the harbour without the service ! Had a few meals out also ! Little Italian at side of Kissos hotel ! Excellent ! If you want to stock up early you will find a Lidl supermarket 15 min walk or 3 bus stops up past tombs of kings ! As for the facilities , excellent ! Poolside entertainment if you want ...... or large grass area if you don't ! So no complaining about music and people having fun ! If you want a bed at the poolside then suggest be up around 8 - 830 to beat the Towel brigade or just relocate the towels for them (-: I found the grassy area cooler if a sea breeze was there ! Shoes required for sea definitely ! Did not have a sea view but ....... 2 glasses n a bottle of Red , walk to beach and enjoy the end of the day. Definitely will return (-:

We went on a Thomson package for a family wedding/holiday in June and had a really great time. The Kefalos beach hotel has a lot going for it; excellent location so as well as enjoying the hotel itself, you can walk to lots of good local restaurants/bars etc, friendly competent staff starting with Geoff and his buggy and continuing with the reception staff, the restaurant staff etc.: the excellent swimming pool and beach facilities; the varied entertainment at night; the quiet self-catering apartments, comfortable beds and effective air conditioning - useful when temperatures get over 30 degrees; the great food from the extensive breakfast buffets to the special menus at night - Italian, Greek and so on; the friendly supermarket on site; the spotless grounds with beautiful flowers, lovely lawns. Very helpful when requesting assistance, booking taxis tc, all in all, just what was needed to support our stay and make for a fantastic stress free wedding preparation and a great relaxing holiday afterwards.

Room Tip: Sea view added a bit of luxury, rooms away from the pool/restaurant area are probably a bit more qui...

We have just returned from a week at the Kefalos Village and I cannot praise it enough. The rooms are a little dated but spotless and maids made up the room and provided new towels daily, excellent facilities in room eg fridge freezer, microwave etc.
The staff are so friendly and cannot do enought to help. The kids club staff were so professional and lovely but my only criticism would be they don't have great facilities to work with. The kids club is in a basement room with very old toys, no music or real atmosphere that made my 3 year old son want to spend much time there. More structured activities and a makeover would provide a much better kids club.
The pool area is lovely and unlike other reviews we never had any problem getting a sun lounger. The entertainment team, activities and background music just made the days in the sun even more enjoyable!!
We went half board and the food was lovely with a wide selection each night. The food at the pool bar was also very nice!
I will definitely return to the Kefalos beach again and recommend to friends and family!

Room Tip: We paid extra for a sea view but wouldn't again as our view was of an empty plot of land with th...
