Very good self-catering complex which has some great staff . Has been open since 2000 , and with Thomson holidays has now turned in to the family place to go. But it does cater for all ages, and since I have been coming here for many years , it does deserve its good Trip Advisor reviews.
Let's put it this way, I came back from a holiday in May, and rebooked for September the following day"............I think that says it all.!!!!!!

From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome. Booked into our rooms in no time and shown where to go for breakfast the following morning. The rooms are pretty basic but isn't most of the traditional hotels the same. Clean, pretty, not commercialised so you get the feel of being on holiday in Cyprus. Our room was at the front of the complex, but the balcony opened up onto a little cobbled street that lead to the sea front, a hint of a view but I don't spend much time in my hotel room anyway!
Breakfast and evening meals were amazing, plenty of choice, hot and cold, variety of theme nights, catered for all nationalities. Head Waiter gave us a choice where to sit, cheerful smiley faces just wanting you to sit down and get on with your meal. Waiters and waitresses cleared tables promptly, everywhere was spick and span. Loved the pool area, but preferred to laze on the sun beds situated on the grass by the sea front, much more breeze and a bit of peace and quiet from exuberant holiday makers. Entertainment team worked really hard, always polite and friendly, giving out any advice needed. The walk around the headland to Paphos town was worth the journey and we accomplished that a few times during the week. Caught a taxi up to the Old Town and the bus back to Paphos town. Then caught a bus to Coral Bay, very enjoyable and a lovely area to see. The Thomson rep was available if required, but we didn't have the need really, sat in on the welcome meeting which was informative. We had an informal Cocktail Meeting and met all the chief staff behind the scenes, from the Hotel Manager, Wedding Planner, Head Chef, Head Water (who featured Georgie Best), Bookings Manager etc who demonstrated a variety of Greek dances and dolled out glasses of wine and fruit juice. I would go back again, no doubt about that. Airport transfers in and out were efficient, no waiting around or searching for missing reps, they were everywhere and sorting us all out.

Room Tip: The positions of the rooms on the sea front had beautiful views and if I was staying for 2 weeks I w...

The good bits
Starting with reception, nothing was too much trouble, always very helpful especially George who takes you to your room on arrival.
The rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaners do a great job. The rooms are well equipped, good air con and all the kitchen essentials you need
The evening buffet was varied and offered great salad selection and there was usually something in the hot food section that all the family liked. Desserts were samey, cheesecake or some kind of gateaux but most tasted the same (to me anyway)
The daytime entertainment was brilliant, Bobby, Ramona, Ricco and Taylor worked hard and there was always something going on.
The Thomson team for kids club were also very good our kids loved them and wanted to go to all the sessions and parties they had.... Can't speak highly enough of the entertainment teams.
We got sunbeds each day with no hassle, no one out claiming them at 7AM which was nice
There is a nice walk along the coast into the harbour (took about 35mins with kids in tow)
Would recommend a visit to the ruins in the harbour area, if you have older children or no kids and appreciate heritage sites this was really good, better than tomb of the kings ruins

Not so good bits
Entertainment in the evening is the same routine, kids disco (which ours loved) then bingo... then the main event .. Which other than Michael Jackson tribute and the 'Reps night' was very poor... To the point where the kids asked for colouring books!
The rooms are pretty basic on the whole and the sofa beds in the living area not very comfortable.
This hotel is listed as 'beach front'... I would describe it as sea front not beach front... There is sand (of a sort) and the sea can be reached by a Getty but lots of rocky areas, lots of seaweed and very strong rip current, talking to a local there has been a few incidents in the past with sea conditions... If you want a great beach go to Corallia, 20-25 mins on the bus just past Coral Bay.
The breakfast buffet was pretty much the same each day, this was a 3 star hotel so jot a lot to criticise but more fresh fruit would be good.
The life guard ... Looks after the towels and charging of the sun beds at the front of the hotel, there really didn't appear to be much attention paid to supervision of the pool
Finally the bar was quite pricey, 3.50 for a local beer

On the whole a great holiday, the good far outweighed the bad, will definitely return to Cyprus but not this hotel. Maybe worth thinking about going Self Catering here as lots of eating places near by and may work out cheaper for drinks etc?

Room Tip: Try get a sea view but away from entertainment area

We stayed for just 3 nights as a couple over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May.

A one bedroom apartment on the ground floor was allocated on arrival and it was lovely. Being dropped off late at night by our taxi the check in was fast and proficient. We were then driven to our apartment in the long wheelbase and very comfortable golf buggy.

The room was clean, modern and very well equipped. Shower over a bath with curtain, toilet and sink all in one room (no toilet tissue down the drains though - use the bin).

Two single beds pushed together by my wife and we were set for the night. There's shutters over the sliding patio doors out onto your balcony. A table, two chairs and a clothes airer for drying your swimming stuff is there too.

The kitchenette is equipped with fridge with freezer compartment, sink, kettle, microwave, saucepans, twin electric ring stove, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for your stay.

There's a wardrobe, two bedside cabinets and a writing desk too.

The only thing I could fault our particular apartment with was the air conditioner unit. For the first 5 minutes or so after switching on, it sounded like a moped in the distance and woke me. But I am confident that they will be repairing it ASAP. I seen their own repair man going about his daily rounds whilst we were there.

It has an excellent Pool, bar and restaurant. We took advantage of the breakfast upgrade they were offering and had breakfast from the buffet daily. The food was hot and tasty. You could literally go up as often as you liked too.

Highly recommended and I will definitely stay there again if we are back in Paphos. It's very child friendly too if thats important to you.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the beach with balconies are worth paying extra for. But booking them early is es...

CONGRATULATIONS! You've done it again! What an amazing place with outstanding staff.
This was the third time we enjoyed a holiday here. The staff were really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Elena helped by arranging for us to have our usual apartment and we found fruit and wine waiting for us as well as the plant that I had asked her to get. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff on reception, especially Sophie, went out of her way to find out about places we hoped to visit.
There is a small supermarket on site and all the staff there are friendly. Anne, one of the staff there that we had met on our previous visits chatted to us whenever we went to get supplies. It is open early and doesn't close until late so it's very handy for the essentials, especially if you haven't hired a car. The local bus passes close to the hotel on a route from the harbour to Coral Bay.
The village itself is lovely with plants, shrubs and trees lining the pathways. The views from our balcony were superb and it was lovely to watch the sun set over the sea and hear the waves lapping at night.
The restaurant is extremely well staffed and the friendly, warm greetings we received made meal times even more pleasant.
I cannot think of anywhere that I would rather spend a holiday. Thank you all so much. Looking forward to seeing you all again later in the year!!
EFKHARISTO! .

kefalos beach village is in a beautiful location. service here was first class. we couldn't get the air conditioning working on the first day so I went to reception. They said they'd send someone to look at it & they came about 2 mins after I'd got back to the room,we hadn't got the one window closed which was why it didn't work. excellent & prompt service.
The food was amazing, portions large, quality excellent. We went b&b and ate at the snack bar in the open next to the beach, the sunsets were spectacular. With 2 children aged 10&11 the menu offered pizza, chicken nuggets, fish fingers.Prices were very reasonable about €5 or 6 for a childs meal &€8/9 ish for adults(Everything else in Cyprus was very expensive)Breakfast was self service, cheese, ham, bread orEnglishbreakfast, toast, cereals, fruit, pastries.
The pool was so refreshing in the hot weather(take plenty of sunscreen &change of clothes-we didn't take enough of either). Plenty of sunbeds and free towels at the pool to borrow.(Not available all the time).
Entertainment -something every night-was ok but to be fair we only listened to somewithout going to watch.Things going on during the day, aqua gym, archery, water polo,Lilo walking &jumping.
If you want to walk into paphos you can go along the paved coastal path &see the lizards or there is a short cut along the road(we only found out about this on our last day when it was so hot we got a taxi back from paphos harbour (€8)& he took us a short cut) buses are €1.50 each way for children over 6&adults for trips in the paphos area(a daily ticket was €6 each) & you could go as many times as you liked up to late evening.
We paid extra to keep our room as we had an evening flight. check out was 12.00 pm & cost was €6 an hour to keep our room until we had to go(we requested when we arrived).
This was an excellent place to stay,I can't recommend it enough,my favourite part was eating tea & watching the sunsets. The worst part-having to leave it all behind & go home!!

Room Tip: We had a one bed apartment with a partial sea view & pool view & we were really pleased with...

We took our grandsons on this holiday we had worried if they would find meals to suit them, no need with the variety on offer they all found something they liked. As for keeping them occupied we had job keeping out of the excellent swimming pool, and they learned to snorkel in the sea.
The walk along the coast path is a must just take your time and enjoy it.
