My Daughter chose this Venus for her wedding and as usual she picked the perfect place. The staff made the day very special for all 30ish guests and the day went without a hitch. A beautiful place for a special event and highly recommended. The rooms are good as is the food with the staff always being helpful and polite at all times. The entertainment is a bit amateurish but ok. The beach is a stones throw from the Hotel and there is never a shortage of sun beds. My Wife and me will be back for a couples holiday as it couldn't have been any better. Thank you to the Management and staff for all their hard work.

This was our 3rd visit to the Kefalos and yet again another great experience. This time we booked a superior studio with sea view and it was so worth it! the views were amazing. We requested 1st floor with the travel agent but i also contacted Elena who was very helpful, we got our choice.also a very nice touch of a fruit basket and a bottle of sparking wine as a welcome back. It is these little touched that help make this such a welcoming place. the hotel is well run with the staff being very friendly and helpful. the grounds are well kept with someone always out and about ensuring the gardens are tidy and cared for. It is ideally located only a few minutes walk on to the main road with plenty of choice for bars and restaurants or you can take the coastal path (about 25 mins) into the harbour with loads of sops, bars and restaurants. Saying all that the buses are cheap enough to get into town especially when really hot! Thanks to everyone who made our stay so pleasurable x :-)

Room Tip: Sea view are worth the extra money.

Once again we returned to Kefalos Beach tourist village , we missed last year because my husband had a heart attack in Tenerife in the January 20l3, We couldn't wait to get back this year to meet all the friendly staff who make your holiday so perfect. We had a beautiful apartment
thanks to Elena who looked after us, people going to the beach passed our apartment it was lovely to pass time with people from so many countries I loved it. We went half board and the food has always been good, but this year it was even better, Sunday night we had Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding it was wonderful. We cant wait to return next year. The location is perfect you cant walk into Paphos in 20 minutes. Thank you Kefalos Beach

We returned from a 10 day stay at the Kefalos Beach Village a few days ago. We stayed here 2 years ago and contacted the hotel directly in advance to request the same apartment that we had, and when we got there were made up that we had the same apartment.

The apartments are laid out in small blocks of 4 or so apartments with upstairs and downstairs and it is like being in a small beautiful whitewash Greek/Cypriot village as the paths between are like small roads. There are beautiful flowers and large pots, even a small chapel. Everywhere is very clean, the maids work really hard.

The entertainment team again were really good, not too pushy and very funny.

All staff are very polite and friendly.

There is a gym and an indoor pool. I used the gym on a few occasions. The equipment is quite old but is so far the best equipped gym that I have accessed whilst on holiday so far.

There are bars and restaurants a 5 minute walk away, or you can walk 1.5km which takes around 30-40 mins down the coastal path directly into the harbour. Alternatively you can walk through the main roads which maybe takes 5 or 10 minutes less. When we were last here the Kings Avenue Mall was in the process of being built but is now finished. This is about a 10-15 minute walk away from Kefalos Beach. There's a Costa Coffee, Caffe Nero, TGI Fridays, cinema, Burger King, and other food outlets amongst the selection of shops. It has a car park too.

There is a McDonald's and KFC 5-10 mins walk away along the main road, and a Lidl a few minutes drive away if you have a car. We used Lidl to stock up on bread and snacks for lunch as we only went B&B. Alternatively there is a bus stop outside Lidle and the bus (615) can be caught on the main road near 'Raffles' restaurant.

There are a few restaurants on the main road near to the hotel that I would reccommend.

Sysifos roof restaurant and San Marino: 13.99euros for a 3 course set menu
Raffles is 15.99 euros for a 3 course set menu

A little further down the road is Thomas' Jungle restaurant where you can get a 3 course set menu for just 10euros.

In the harbour I would reccommend The Moorings and Captain's view, both next door to each other but with Captain's view being higher up giving you a perfect view of the harbour at sunset whilst eating your meal. Both of these places have a 3 course set menu for 11.99 euros.

Further up there's a few more restaurants with set menus, one offering 3 courses with a glass of wine for 10euros.

There was a bar close to the Harbour that we went to a few times where it was 1.90 euros for a pint of Leon. Plenty of places were offering the local lagers along with Carlsberg for 1.70euros to 2.50 euros, including in the Kefalos tourist village which was 2.50 for Leon.

The highest prices you are likely to pay for drinks are for soft drinks/ciders/imported beers and cocktails.

We have just returned from another weeks holiday at the Kefalos Beach Village. Once again we had a great time. Everything is so clean. Food is great with plenty on offer at meal times. After booking the holiday I contacted the hotel directly to ask if we could have the same apartment as last year. At the time Elena said it was not available. However upon arrival we were allocated the same apartment. It is little touches like this that make this place so special. We are already looking to book again for next year. Thank you so much Kefalos Beach Village.

We booked a late deal with Thomsons for a week's stay here in early June and we had a great time throughout.
Don't believe a word of the poor reviews which appear to be from some time back. Clearly the place has had a major overhaul since then. All the facilities advertised were available. Our accommodation (a one bedroom, self catering apartment) was spacious, clean and adequately equipped. The exterior walkways & gardens were pretty and well maintained. The atmosphere was convivial (a few youngsters, mostly under 5, but as this was term time, just as you would expect).
The restaurant food was buffet style, plentiful in both variety and quantity and reasonably priced, as was the wine. For variety, a short walk took us to numerous bars and restaurants on the main road and surrounds.
The resort is stone's throw from the sea (rocky coast but the frontage has been landscaped and provided with plentiful sunbeds & parasols.) There is a lovely stone-laid promenade to the harbour in Paphos - a bit more than the 2 km it claims to be, I'd say (it's nearer to walk via the main road) but a great way to enjoy the views and sea breezes. The pool was large, clean and not overcrowded.
Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.. All in all, we had a really relaxing week and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Room Tip: If there are only two adults, the studio rooms are spacious and well equipped. Some studios are link...

This is a very good hotel. Good situation. Just a 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants though best to take the well paved coastal path to Paphos itself (about 35 minutes) with it's very nice restaurants (would recommend Solemio - Italian or The Moorings - Cypriot). Would advise getting taxi back though (only €8) as not lit. Had a very nice spacious 1 bed apartment. Adequately equipped. Lovely pool. Plenty of beds by pool, grass, and beach. Just 1 minute between all three, so need to crowd around the pool. Bar very good, prices very reasonable. Paid just €2.50 per pint and €3.95 for gin and tonic. Snacks, again, reasonably priced. Breakfast very good. Plenty of choice to suit almost everyone. Did not have evening meal so cannot comment. Staff very nice. Friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment only so so. Beach not that good. Very gritty sand. Getting into sea bit difficult. Lots of seaweed and gets very rocky. Not ideal for children. But on the whole would highly recommend this hotel.
