The bad thing with this hotel personally was the food. It was very overpriced so we didn't eat in the restaurant at all. This wasn't at all a problem though as we made our way through the many restaurants in the area. It is also quite a way from most places, but so are all the other hotels - tourist spots in Paphos appeared to be very spread out.
Having said this, the staff were some of the politest I have ever encountered, the beds were fantastically comfy (the waterproof sheet underneath was a bit irritating but necessary). There was more than enough parking close to every room for those who rented a car (we did - well worth it). Our room had it's own kitchen and balcony and from what I could see, so did all the other rooms. The private beach was the best part of it for me - so good I didn't even consider the large clean pool. The sea breeze came in to soft sand and there was an adventure company (doing things such as jet skiing etc.) just off to one side, the owners of which were amazing. The hotel was very clean and very very accommodating and I feel was brilliant value for money.

we have just returned from the above hotel spending a week at the resort ,we were keen to make sure the facilities for our 3 year old daughter were good and we wernt dissapionted from the childrens paddling pool to the kids club and mini disco every night she had a ball .I must say i was impressed how clean and spacious the room was even with the 3 of us it wasnt cramped we also had a fridge microvave and cooker in our kitchen .We were on a half board basis and the breakfast (continental or full english) and evening meal were both varied well cooked and had more than enough to satisfy the biggest appetite .The surrounding area is beautiful to say the least and it was a pleasure to return to our hotel after a long hot day out

We stayed at Kefalos Beach Tourist Village and were absolutely amazed by every single aspect of this hotel, from the A1 Service provided by every member of the hotel staff from maids to hotel management , pool was amazing and very clean and always had avaliable sunbeds. The entertainment staff were exceptional , they really took a interest in you and what was going on and made everyone very welcome. The bar staff where very attentive and also had the nothing is too much attitude, supermarket was really good and quite cheap and so was the food in the two restaurants it was also of a very high standard and really good value, we will be back in october and are counting down the days already !!!!!

We stayed for two weeks at this Hotel in a sea -view apartment on an half board basis, we booked through Thomas Cook's Hotels4u.com and got a £20 discount for booking via Tripadvisor.
I agree with everything that has been said about this place, I just want to say that we really enjoyed the buffet food over the two week period, we were concerned that we might get bored but there was always plenty of alternatives to "tickle the palate". There is a more than adequate Kitchen in the Apartment to prepare food , we went to a local supermarket on Adamantou Korai, which stocked everything we needed including fresh salads items.
We hired a car and made several trips out and about but recommend one trip in particular for the adventourous, leave Pafos on the B7 through the upper town heading for Polis, turn left a few kilometres outside Pafos on the sign for Tremithousa and head for the Agios Neofytos Monastery, you can easily spend over an hour here visiting a very interesting place, leave here and return to the B7 and carry on up the Polis road until you see a sign to turn right for Polemi and Panagia. In Panagia you can visit the birthplace of Archbishop Makarios, this is worthwhile as it shows you what Cyprus was like 80 years ago, just up the road is Pano Panagia Monastery and Agia Moni Church, make sure you don't fail to visit the original church which is at the side of the new church.
You need to back track through the village of Panagia and take the narrow and windy road on the right through the Cedar Valley to tne Kykkos Monastery, this is the richest Monastery in Cyprus, and well worth the trek.
When you leave this Monastery, turn left and take the E912 and after several kilometres, turn left on the road to Stavros tis Psokas, this road like most of the roads on this trip is windy and high in the mountains but with breathtaking views and vistas. There is no need to drive into Polis as there is a signposted route back to Pafos which meets the B7 and brings you back into town. This is an all day trip but really worthwhile as you see the Mountains and the villages that are the real Cyprus.
