My husband & I have just returned from the Anemi Hotel after a visit of 2 1/2 weeks, which we didnt want to return from
A beautifully clean hotel, thick soft towels, beautiful comfy beds, and lovely staff whether they be cleaning, reception, or bar.
Everywhere was spotless all the time
On my very first day I was very ill, within 10 minutes I was in a taxi and arriving at the receptionists' doctor examined and on treatment in another 10 minutes, I cannot say how thankful I am to the hotel for this
We booked up to return in September before we flew back!
The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the town, near a lot of nice restaurants, beach, harbour and the castle/mosaics etc
We had a lovely time and will not be returning to our usual hotel in Paphos, but using the Anemi in future

Arrived 3hours late but Ejena was amazing rang the restaurant we had booked a table to let them n we would be late. Our room was great with a large balcony with 2 sunbeds table and chairs. Breakfast was served by the pool with an unbelievable choice, lunch was also great. A lovely pool with lots of sunbeds. This is a beautiful and clean hotel, Ringkon,Andreas and Gabriela looked after all the guests in the dining room While Elena and Mira were the two amazing receptionists, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff every one was really friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day, with a hairdryer in the bedroom[not the bathroom] really good,

Room Tip: Book a superior room, overlooks the pool

Just returned from 2 weeks stay at Anemi . Perfect location , helpful staff , immaculately clean . What more do you want !!!!!
Can,t fault any of the time we stayed there . Everyone very happy to help and always smiling which goes a long way to making your holiday that bit more enjoyable.

Will certainly return.

By the way try the Cafe Vienna on main street , excellent food and wine and they give you 2 Euros to the pound if you pay in Sterling!!!!

Staying at Anemi on self catering 1 week and new to Tripadvisor but pleased to report the Anemi is located in a great area for access to all amenities near by.
The apartments are clean modern & spacious with modern decor.
Had a small problem with some noisy idiots and staff were quick to rectify with room change
Would be happy to return as great service from all

We wanted something more than your usual self catering apartments and Anemi provided this without a doubt. Having caught a late flight we arrived late into the night and were dropped off at the end of the road and given directions to the Hotel by our transfer. Upon seeing just how close we were to the nightlife and a club very close by... we couldn't help but have some primary concerns HOWEVER to our delight, there was no noise for the entire weeks stay, the room was extremely comfortable with plenty of space, very clean and modern too. The shower was amazing....we do like our showers and thankfully to my partners delight I had taken nappysacks for the sanitation problem (having travelled through Greece and Turkey and knowing what could be!) Although it wouldnt have been a problem as the cleaners were extremely fastidious about hygiene, emptying bins, mopping and changing towels daily. All staff from reception to cleaners were very friendly and always willing to help. Our apartment faced onto the pool with a balcony that was a marvellous suntrap in the morning for al fresco breakfast. Situated only a hop and a skip to restaurants and shops and just 10 minutes walk to the harbour...Paphos Kato is very easy to find your way around. I'd say our only disappointment was that the local beaches were tiny and seemingly not that sandy....but just a 20 minute bus ride away to Coral Bay and the water was crystal clear and sand golden with minimal seaweed too. Buses are 1 euro everywhere or 3 euros for a day saver. We found a huge supermarket a few minutes away...but also enjoyed dining out and tasting local delights. All in all we had the beauty of the desired anonymity from the other guests from the hotel by being self catering and the professionalism and warm friendliness from the staff making our holiday complete. Thank you Anemi for a very pleasant stay and Elena on reception, we take our hats off to you for speaking so many languages fluently :)

Room Tip: We chose a superior one bedroom apartment on the top floor facing the pool and didn't hear any p...

Can't believe so let down by Tripadvisor reviewers, I thought I must have screwed up on my research as always spend time now on TA before booking a hotel and found the reviews all very positive about the Anemi. Well it's 4am and the second straight night of lying awake listening (no choice) to the nightclub right outside our upgraded "superior room" the room we upgraded to has no view other than the street and looks right in to the nightclub which for some reason although surrounded by apartments & houses was given licence to open the roof. I can only take it all the positive reviews were from those lucky enough to have nice pool views on the opposite side of the building which must be the extremely superior rooms.
On the subject of superior I think it's another made up add on by Thompson travel as we can see no difference in any of the rooms here all of which are very nice & as with the extra luggage weight charge we paid for 15 upped to 20kgs we were actually flying on seats they bought with Jet2 where you were aloud 22 anyway.
On the positive the location in general is good for the Restuarants & harbor areas which are nice, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is lovely & no to busy for beds etc on the negative you need to be a cluber if facing front, the bar in the hotel is empty at night again there is just so much on the doorstep not their fault, there is no wi fi in rooms, small bottle of water 4 x the outside price & that's about it.
All in take away the nightclub which is not every night and this little 3 star would get a better rating but be warned you want a rear facing room overlooking the pool unless you are deaf or can sleep through a hurricane
