This was a last minute holiday - knew it would be geared towards families - had a deluxe room - not really deluxe but adequate for needs - fabulously clean rooms and village - all staff are fantastic - food ok but evening meals often cold - only one night of fab entertainment at the adult bar - not a place for couples but gave it four stars as staff fab very clean gardens lovely n perfect for families just not the place for us but as stated this was a last min thing.
Luckily we r fitness fanatics n the gym was excellent.

Room Tip: Get a delux room

Dear Guest,

Thank you for choosing the Aliathon Holiday Village for your last minute holiday this year and for taking the time to write this review on our trip advisor page.

We are happy to read that your room and overall accommodation was kept spotlessly clean throughout your stay and that you found all of our staff fantastic.

We are saddened to read that as a couple you would not return to stay at the Aliathon as you felt it was more family orientated, we like to believe that as a hotel we cater for everybody needs both adults and children.

We thank you once again for your kind comments about our staff, we hope to welcome you back in the future in order for you to experience the true Aliathon holiday experience. Please feel free to email and special requests you may have and we will do our upmost best to fulfil them.

Always at your disposal,

Returned from here a week ago after staying here for my Daughters wedding. Room was adequate, stayed on the Aegean side, lovely pool, lovely staff especially Helen and Maria :).
Room was kept spotless by maids who were friendly and did a great job, clean towels every day.
eventually managed to get an upgrade for the wedding couple and they were moved over to fishing village to a large apartment,my son in law has a dissability and they also have a young Son,we did explain that they should have had a room with a bath and this was sorted promptly.
Wedding was amazing, held outside the chapel, everything was perfect.
Food here is fantastic...put on 9lbs lol, great variety and always fresh.
lots of cats, which i dont mind, got well fed by me and other members of our party :)
Only thing i can really complain about is the entertainment...fantastic entertainment team but aimed at kids...what about the adults???? nothing for adults except the odd quiz and bingo. For such a large complex there definately needs to be some adult entertainment.

Bit of a problem with the bill...my Daughter and Son in law were told they had to pay a 30 euro bill for drinks for one of our wedding guests who was not staying at the complex,on the day the guest had one drink before heading off to the reception elsewhere,my Daughter was led to believe that when given a guest wristband he was entitled to one hour free. This did cause some distress on my Daughters last day as they had no money left to pay and were indirectly threatened with the police.....luckily the wedding coordinator was contacted and paid the bill herself,so thankyou to Steph.
On the whole i had a very enjoyable time here, grounds are beautiful and gardeners work tirelessly to keep them lovely.
Great place for a wedding and an enjoyable holiday, fantastic for kids.
Oh beach is rocky so be careful! we jumped on a bus(2 buses) and went to coral bay beach, buses are very regular and cheap, about only thing that is cheap lol.
Would reccomend this hotel highly for a great family holiday.

Room Tip: All rooms are great though the fishing village is more modern, our room was great on Aegean side, such comfy beds for a hotel :) and right by the lagoon pool.

Dear Guest,

We are so very pleased to read what a lovely stay your family had at the Aliathon Holiday Village for their special occasion this year.

It is fantastic to read all of your kind and rewarding feedback about your holiday experience please be assured we will pass all of your wonderful comments onto the relevant departments in order for praise to be given.

With concerns to your daughter and son in laws room charges there was an unfortunate mis understanding regarding this incident please allow us to explain our rules concerning the day passes for wedding guests. Prior to the wedding day all wedding couples have a meeting in which it is discussed the time period non-resident guests will be staying in the hotel on the day and which day pass is relevant for them, once this is confirmed the wedding couple sign the communication sheet to confirm which day passes will be used and charged to their room. We would like to confirm that your daughter and son in law participated in this process prior to their wedding day. You can appreciate that we are all inclusive and therefore we would like to invite people to enjoy our food and drink freely and we cannot monitor how many drinks or food guests have so this is the only process that the hotel can offer to insure that all costs are covered and we can offer the best possible quality and service on the day.

We are glad it was resolved amicably at the end and that overall everybody had a fantastic holiday and wedding day, we hope to welcome you all back in the future for another great stay!

Always at your disposal,

Georgina Squires

We have just returned form a weeks stay at your village. The great reviews helped us to select the accommodation and we booked a deluxe 1 bedroom apartment. We put in several requests including a double bed, a quiet sunny apartment and location near the swimming pool. Every effort was made to accommodate our requests. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly and well organised staff. Our accomodation was clean, spacious and modern with everything we could need. It is a predominantly family based holiday village and they cater very well for families. As a couple we were surprised to find so many English children on site as it is term time, even so it was possible to find peace and quiet. The food was varied and of a good standard. Bars catered for most holiday makers needs and it was lovely to find fresh orange juice, wine and coffee available at most times of day. (many others including local cocktails, cola and beers were also available if wanted) We heard live music in the adults bar but avoided the general entertainment as we liked a quieter evening. I was impressed by the small cocktail party we were invited to which was personal and the staff attempted to obtain a realistic impression of strengths and possible areas for improvements. We thoroughly enjoyed our break. the spa area and indoor pool was welcome also as the water was warmer than in the many outdoor pools. Thank you for helping to give us such an enjoyable holiday. Sue- Devon

Room Tip: For a quieter room avoid the children's section of the Fishing village. Deluxe and Superior rooms are fairly reasonable and give the little extra comforts.

Fantastic Holiday. We went for a friends wedding. They got married in the Aliathon resort which was absolutely beautiful. The food is amazing, the selection every day was fantastic (although was very disappointed there wasn't any hash browns for breakfast on our last day lol) the place is totally spotless, people clearing up constantly which was great, the room we had was just in the villiage, but was cleaned every day. Our little girl was poorly and the housekeeper was fantastic considering she had to clean sicky bed sheets a few nights . Every member off staff as so polite and friendly with fantastic bar staff, Maria and Pavlos becoming great holiday friends.
The wedding meal was brilliant and all handeled by 1 man, the setting was beautiful too.
Definitely going back, was the best holiday I've had. Our little girl loved it. The entertainment was a little bit of a let down and the arcade games are behind a screen so we couldn't let our little girl run about and play. Would recommend this place to anyone!M

Room Tip: I would ask to be put in the fishing village, although we were just in the normal village our room was fantastic and caught the sun all day.

Beautiful complex, with spacious apartments laid out out in blocks of two instead of the usual tower block giving the place a 'relaxed' feel more than that of a bustling hotel. Very family orientated, but good for couples too (like us)...adults only pool and bar (such a friendly waitress in the adults bar-Rene maybe?). Great food and restaurant/ eating area. Other restaurants on site too. Peaceful- a couple of miles walk into town centre. Clean and tidy, staff friendly. Not a luxurious holiday location but still lovely. Definitely worth the money we paid.
