A party of 10 of us stayed from the 30th April until the 7th May and the hotel put us all close to each other which was great as the kids could run back and forth from the apartments, if I'm being honest all the previous good reviews have covered nearly everything. Our flight was delayed so we were unable to have an evening meal as we arrived at 02.30 and we were starving so the hotel had stocked our fridge with sandwiches, fruit, wine and water which was much appreciated. The rooms, 5 pools and restaurants where pristine, the food in the main restaurant was fabulous unfortunately not the same could be said with the Greek and Mexican restaurants the service was good but the food was of a poor standard.
In a nutshell myself and family had great time and we will be returning next October, well done to all the staff and reps at the Aliathon.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 1109 in the fishing village which was a ground floor apartment in a small square w...

We stayed here in a group including 4 adults, a 9 year old and a 9 month old baby. We all had a great time. We stayed in the fishing village and the rooms were very spacious with lovely big balconies, and were kept really clean. The main pool is huge and we always managed to get a sun bed. we used the other smaller pools as well which again were really nice and clean. The food was nice but not amazing and did get a bit boring by the second week but couldn't fault it. The entertainment was a bit rubbish at night but if you got in the spirit you still had a good time. I wouldn't want to stay here as a couple but as a family with children it was great.

This is our second time back to this hotel as we enjoyed it so much the first time. We have a four year old boy who absolutely loved the kids pool. The rooms are clean and the maid service was excellent. The food choices were excellent even fussy eaters would find something, last time we really enjoyed the Mexican a la carte but not so much this time as there was not a lot of choice. The entertainment staff work really hard and the kids enjoyed the show they put on. This is the only hotel we have ever gone back to twice and would definitely recommend for families.

If you are going with small kids in low season (say 4yr old 5yr old 6yr old) then read this:
THE SWIMMING POOLS ARE FREEZING.
DO NOT WORRY about sun suits hats and coverall swimming shirts etc.
The only thing you need to get them before you go is a full on WETSUIT.

There are plenty of cheap wetsuits online expect to pay about £15 to £30 for a wetsuite for a four year old or a five year old. But I can honestly tell you that once they hit the water every day they will be warm.

We saw too many times young kids go in the water and freeze or go blue. They want to stay in but their teeth chatter. Then the slightest thing upsets them and they are out.

Yes please get all the usual sun suits and body coverings but if you dont have a neopreen 2mm wetsuit your child will get cold very quickly. In low season its not even the temperature of the pool water so much thats taking the heat out of them. Its the strong cross winds wicking away the warmth of their small bodies. Note: This advice is only for LOW season so March April May.

Come June onwards the heat is in full. So its sun suits all round.

But this hotel has a strong reliance on pools for kids entertainment and you will spend a lot of time by them or in them. So for £12 quid your kid is going to be warm as toast even on the windiest day.

Right thats that bit done:
---------------------------------
WIFI - SUPERB SUPERB SUPERB I had it on most days and its FAST and strong. Not too many drop outs. Got my emails poolside. It even reached over the road to the bus stop. Handy when we had to check something.
---------------------------------
Food: AVERAGE I normally pay £2500 to Sensatori for a week all in but this hotel was £1500 all in. So we junked the food in the evening and went out for meals with the spare £1000 saving and then had breakfast and lunch there. Overall we didnt get sick. It was CLEAN.
---------------------------------
Drinks: AVERAGE we had the weak cocktails, the warm beer and the overdiluted lemonade. Note to staff yes we can see you putting in the cartons of orange and then using a mini hosepipe to dilute the tank!!! haha,
---------------------------------
Kids club: GREAT my 4 year old dipped into it with no pressure from anyone to attend and loved it.
-------------------------------
Rooms: NICE in the Fishing Village (You gotta book those ones)
--------------------------------
Evening entertainment Yes I enjoyed it. BUT HATED THE STUPID BINGO in the evening. It really spoilt the night in the key hour of 8.30 to 9.30pm so for us non-bingo people we had to bog off elsewhere. Thats why we went out every night and came back at 9.30 to pick up the last bits of it.
--------------------------------
Ala Carte Restaurants. Made the HUGE mistake of going to the Poco Loco mexican where if you show them the "Voucher" You are treated second class. You are given basically KFC on a plate. Gave them a VERY RUDE Trip Adviser elsewhere.
------------------------------
Transfers: Big thanks to "Jordie" who brought our missing keys to the airport which we left in the safe.
---------------------------
Safety Deposit Key: SHOCK! They charge you 3 Euros a day (21 Euros a week) for a dongle to put in the safe in your room. This is not good. We got away with it becuase last roomies left it in the safe! And we got free safe so HAHAHA to you Aliathon. You should not charge people for security whatever next door locks to rent for £10 a day to lock your room.
---------------------------
Overall this was a good budget choice and we didnt get too "locked in" to the All Inclusive. We very much enjoyed our week and although low season and cold water and wind had an effect it was not enough to spoil our time at Paphos.

So: Would I go back? In a nutshell Aiya Napa is a better place than Paphos. So no it wont be a repeat for Pahos. Sorry guys you dont have any beaches.

Easter holidays, April 2014 on an all inclusive basis

Upon arrival at the hotel, after a short transfer from the airport, we checked in and were taken to our room on a golf buggy. Our luggage was also dropped off for us. The holiday village is massive and is very beautiful and spotlessly clean. There were sandwiches and water in the fridge as we arrived around midnight and had missed dinner. This was a nice touch.

Everything at the hotel was fantastic. The food was plentiful and delicious. The food around the pool bar was basic but was available 10am-6pm so was great if you (or the kids) wanted a little snack. There was a little supermarket at the front of the hotel too if you need to buy anything (we got a few crisps etc for our fussy little girl).

We didn't leave our 2 yr old daughter in the crèche but they also had a stay and play each morning which we took our daughter to and she enjoyed that. There seemed to be loads of kids activities going on throughout the day and the hotel seemed to employ loads of entertainment and waiting staff. Tables in the restaurant were always cleared very quickly.

The pools were lovely, albeit a bit cold in April. My daughter loved playing in the splash pool and on the play area.

All of the staff were polite, friendly, helpful and attentive.

We received 2 vouchers to use in the a la carte restaurants at the entrance of the hotel but they didn't serve till 7pm so we didn't use them as our daughter would go to bed soon after that.

Buses are quite frequent out the front of the hotel. It costs 1.50 euro for a single journey or 3 euros for a return journey, or you can buy a day pass for 5 euros. The sightseeing bus is quite nice in that it shows you where some of the main places are. You think you're travelling further than you actually are though. It cost 10 euros per adult (under 4yrs and 8 months free) or 12.50 if you want to hop on and off. Only trouble with this is that the buses only come every 1 and a half hours on the afternoon and this was a bit too long to spend at the old town.

One day we got the bus to Coral Bay beach which was pretty. Not an awful lot of sand but it was nice sand, not pebbly. Took about 25 mins on bus to get there.

The harbour is only about 10 mins away on the bus. There are lots of boat trips available at the harbour.

The only thing I would mention is that the room we were given could have been a little better suited. Most of the apartments were 2 floors but ours had 3 floors. We were on the top floor. We had a beautiful view of the main pool and the splash pool. The downside was that our apartment actually had stairs in them and we had a 2 yr old with us. I was very worried about my daughter falling down the stairs, particularly at night. The first night we moved the sofa to try and block the stairs but I panicked so much that she spent the rest of the week sleeping in between my husband and myself. There should either have been a stair gate or we shouldn't have been given a room with stairs in.

Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to visit this hotel and would love to return one day.

Room Tip: Rooms in the fishing village are where all the fun is at. Ask for a top floor to get a lovely view a...

This was our second time to the Aliathon holiday village in Cyprus and we were not disappointed. This time we stayed in the fishing village in a one bedroom apartment. Our sons 12 and 8 were excited to go back again as they had such a wonderful time last time and they were not disappointed at all. The entertainment tea of hettie, Charlotte, miles and Andrew were fantastic and once the sound issues were sorted in the entertainment venue put on great shows for us the panto was so good! The food as always was lovely and the Sunday BBQ was amazing! The one big thing for us was that our 12 year old had lots to do and for the whole 11 nights we hardly saw him as he was kept busy doing activities.
Cameron on the kids rep side was so good with the kids and should be given a medal for keeping the teenagers occupied!
I can't find fault with the resort and we are talking about going back in two years time with family! Loved every minute of it!!

My husband, 3 children(aged 11,14 and 22) and i have just come back from a weeks stay in the Aegean village. Our room was a stones throw from the pool and as close to the pool bar. Alex the barman was outstanding and made our family extremely welcome.we sure missed him on his day off. the Aegean village has a much more relaxed feel than the fishing village where loud music and games are on offer. we preferred a more laid back atmosphere with a good sized pool, soft music and an excellent pool bar service. The food in the dining room was good and had a wide choice for adults but we thought it lacked slightly on things for the kids ie pizza, burgers the endless delicious ice-cream made up for this and the kids were happy.

we do have to say the night time entertainment was pretty poor. The sound system in the main (huge) hall was awful. the high ceiling and open plan sides made listening unbearable so we spent our evenings in the quiet bar where we watched all the top football matches and played cards.

Overall an excellent holiday village with excellent staff and facilities.
would defiantly stay again.

Room Tip: Aegean village is much more relaxed
