This was our second Holiday Village after 2 previous visits to HV Turkey and it was fantastic. We The rooms are of a higher standard than the previous 2 we had in Turkey. They were bigger with better balconies.
The Food in the Buffet restaurant was of a very high standard and managed to cater for our family well (including a very fussy six year old!) We also ate at the Mexican restaurant which was good and the Greek restaurant which was excellent.
The whole complex is clean, with plenty of space so that you don't feel on top of everyone.
The evening entertainment was superb. The entertainments teams never stopped. Very talented group and a credit to First Choice.
All in all a fantastic holiday that we will rebook for next year.

Room Tip: book early for the Greek restaurant!

We've enjoyed a lovely week here. Food is excellent. Lots of activities for kids though ours would not join in sadly. Free wifi is a bonus but is patchy in some places. BookCrossing zone in reception which always pleases. Bit HiDeHi but I got used to that. Clean neat accommodation. Clean swimming pools. Recommended.

We stayed here for one week in the Easter holidays 2014.
We arrived at the hotel early evening so had missed dinner the hotel supplied everyone sandwiches crackers and fruit in the rooms and had fruit juice and fruit on arrival in the reception area whilst waiting to check in, we was checked in quickly and then driven in a buggy to our apartment and our bags were brought to our room and carried up the stairs by the staff.
The apartments were lovely a nice size room with a kitchen, bathroom lounge bedroom and balcony ours over looked the children's pool which was no issue to us as we were not in the room during the day so didn't get disturbed by the kids.
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and would do anything to help accommodate one evening we came back to our room to get changed and the shower had been Brocken by the cleaners we went down to report it and whilst we were out they came out and fixed it the very same evening!
The food was buffet was very nice each day had a different variety of food and catered for everyone's needs
The entertainment was the reps which was fine as they were very enthusiastic and seemed to love there job.
The adult bar is amazing as they do table service and serve drinks in bottles rather than on tap and in plastic cups so that is a nice touch and it over looks the pool so very pretty at night time.
We loved the fact that the hotel is in a great location to walk to the harbour takes about 45mins and as it's all along the seafront it's a beautiful relaxing walk.
We had a brilliant stay here and was very sad to leave we would defiantly go back again 100%

We visited the hotel during May half term and had a great time. This was our 2nd visit to the Aliathon and on arriving in our room we were greeted with a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine. I had previously emailed the hotel and asked for a second floor room which was allocated to us. The complex is lovely and is child friendly. The pools are shallow and the splash pool keeps children entertained for hours. There was a wide choice of kids clubs which my son attended and my daughter visited the Crèche. The First choice kids reps were brilliant and I always felt that my children were in a safe environment. The room accommodated all of us and the large balcony allowed me to sunbathe in the afternoon whilst my daughter had a sleep in the room. The only reason I have not given the Aliathon a five rating is that although the food was good there seemed to be a lot less choice than when we had visited 2 years previously and the dining room was half the size. Another enjoyable holiday.

We will be sad to leave in a few days. wanted to get review on as it might help others plan their trip. The hotel is brilliant we are in the Aegean village in deluxe suite. Its very nice and comfortable. It is not as lively as Fishing village. That is ok given we have a two year old that has an afternoon nap. The Fishing village is only 2 min walk away anyway. As 2 vegetarians and one meat eater we have found the food to be great. We would definitely recommend this place, even though its nearly fully booked it doesn't feel crowded. Our 2 year old loved the Widgets entertainment- good bribe for when we had tantrums:).Things you might want to know; none of the pools are heated - that includes the indoor one. In the morning they are really quite cold especially for younger guests. If you have babies or toddlers with you I would recommend bringing baby suits. No doubt they will want to stay in water but its not warm enough for them to be there long. In the afternoon it gets better. Forget the mosquito repellent haven't seen a single one and no bites. As we arrived late there was sandwiches in the fridge - nice touch but they were not suitable for vegetarians. So if you have special dietary requirements its worth bringing a snack with you for late arrivals. There was a few coffees sachets in fridge but they are not replaced however there is a reasonably priced shop on site. All in all a fantastic place for children.

Dear Aravins,

Thank you for taking the time to share your fantastic experience on our trip advisor page before you have even departed! We are so happy to hear what an amazing time your family is having at the Aliathon and that all of your special dietary requirements have been fulfilled. With concerns to the sandwiches for late arrivals, we would like to kindly inform you that vegetarian options are kept at the reception for any guests that request for them so it is unfortunate that you did not mention this to a member of staff upon your arrival.

Once again it is great to read what an excellent holiday you had and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Aliathon Holiday Village in the near future. Please feel free to email any special requests you may have prior to your next arrival and be assured we will do our upmost best to fulfil them for you.

This was our second visit here, we returned to rainy Wales last week.
Good flight & a smooth transfer to the hotel, we were checked in quickly & taken straight to our room on a golf cart. I had emailed the hotel requesting a sunny balcony, overlooking the pool and was not disappointed, perfect! We also had a bottle of wine & fruit with a note welcoming us back (nice touch)!
It was late but we were wide awake so headed over to the entertainment venue (new to us as it opened the day after we left last year), great venue, lots of room & plenty of tables & chairs! We enjoyed many a night here, the entertainment team were excellent & worked hard day & night! Always smiling & getting the children involved! They always came & chatted with us and my children adored them! Queen Hettie (so professional, friendly, enthusiastic & "on it"), Andrew (such fun & enthusiastic, farmer backpack was brilliant & I'm still teasing the kids with it), Myles (funny, kids loved the breakdancing), Alice (hysterical) & Charlotte (little miss sunshine/showbiz) you made our holiday & Joe & Alice loved that Hettie always did their freestyle #comedy knees .
The daytime staff around the pool are fab, always happy & helpful. Lots going on if you wanted to join in, or just watch from the poolside. Pool cricket, quizzes, dances )Joe did the pool dances EVERY day, & was always "high fived" in recognition! A special mention to King Cameron who was fab with Joe! Joe especially enjoyed raft building survivor style!..............A really great team, Well done FC!
The hotel is fabulous & I love the pool area! so safe for the little ones as it's so shallow & large, The splash pool area is great too! Food is great, lots of choice, you can visit the mexican one a week & the Greek one a week. The greek was our favourite & the food was so good! My son loved the mussels, Thankyou to Evgenios for keeping my wine topped up! Snack bar lunch was a bit samey, BBQ days were lovely (friday & sunday).
Rooms are lovely and spacious, great big wardrobe (take extra hangers as you can fit loads in), very comfy kingsize bed with a quilt, sofa bed for kids wasn't that comfy & they didn't like the sheets & blankets! The room was cleaned every day except sunday by very friendly staff!.
Could do with a line/dryer on the balcony (I took a ball of string).
All in all a fabby place & we had a great holiday, the reps are amazing & we'll definitely be back!
My only negative is the arcade area............a big distraction , please move it away from the entertainment!!!!
p.s. the waterpark is a great day out to, in walking distance!
p.p.s. charity day was fun, well done andrew on getting waxed
p.p.p.s. booking in on line & the bag drop took longer than the usual!!!

Room Tip: fishing village, 1st floor

We've never stayed in a holiday village before but we loved it.
Our 10 yr old son in not normally interested in the kids' clubs but he went to the football academy course and loved it, thanks Emma and Billy.
Great resort, clean rooms, great and clean pools, good quality and varied food (including local food which we always like to try), good soft drinks, nice beer and cocktails. Nice Greek and Mexican restaurant on site as well.

One thing was disappointing though. One of the newest rep booked our rental car. On booking it with her, we specified we wanted to cross the border and drive to the Turkish side and she said 'don't forget your passports'. Fine, when we picked the rental a few days later the guy from the rental company advised us that their insurance did not cover a trip over the border, that the price we were quoted was excl. VAT and that on top there was an £8 admin fee. Poor dealing from the rep there. That said, that's to do with the travel company, not the hotel.

The staff was helpful and very nice without being over friendly. Especially nice and helpful were Georgia at the main restaurant, Alex at the Lagoon bar and the evening staff at the reception desk. The maids did a very good job on the rooms, daily.
We went during half-term, so it was busy, but it didn't feel overcrowded at all. Certainly helped by having 3 different pool locations with their own bar. Very well laid out resort.

Would really recommend, loved it.
