Have stayed at the Damon on several occasions and the standards keep on improving. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are big and cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed linen supplied regularly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to return soon.

We spent two weeks at the Damon Hotel with friends from 16th- 30th September 2013. Our apartment, overlooking the small pool right at the back of the complex, was very clean and tidy with more than enough room for my partner and I. The large living/dining area was a great place to flop after a busy day sightseeing; and the kitchen area was well equipped, with a full size cooker, kettle, toaster and a wide range of crockery and cutlery. A couple of downsides on the apartment though. We did once go four days without clean towels and at the back of the apartment we had, there was an Alsatian guard dog in a cage. This poor animal had no room and was kept locked up for most of the day and night. The dog was so frustrated it barked at all hours and as it was under 25 feet from our bedroom window, I didn't get a lot of sleep and spent half of my holiday walking round like a zombie or asleep during the day. I did tell the Thompson rep about this problem after week one, as I had had enough and he did say he would get back to me, but he never did. The hotel offered a good variety of traditional English and continental foods for breakfast with unlimited tea, coffee, or fruit juice and helped us both fuel up for the day ahead. The onsite supermarket sold just about everything you could possibly need and the every day things, water, bread, milk etc, were very reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us welcome. One of the female reception staff sounded surprised when we told her we were looking to hire a car for three days and how much it was going to cost us. She was straight on the phone and within fifteen minutes had arranged the four by four we wanted and saved us 15 Euros! We were not around to take advantage of much of the entertainment at the Damon, but what we saw was great fun and the entertainment team are really big on audience participation. We will be having a change next year, probably visiting the Greek Islands, but we would definitely visit the Damon again. Next time we will ask to stay in the blocks furthest away from the back of the small pool, as the barking at all hours spoiled it for me. I went away for a rest and came back worn out!

Room Tip: Unless you sleep like the dead avoid the apartments at the back of the small pool.

I am following others who have enjoyed this excellent hotel apartment complex, when we arrived late at night thank you Thompsons you can certainly improve. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist, and started to chill from there on in, we entered our one bedroom apartment and immediately felt at home. Good range of food for breakfast, should suit most tastes and a pleasant poolside aspect in which to start the day. Although not on the beach it is a short distance away from one.
To us it was perfectly located the explore the wider Cyprus and with a the aid of a hire car we explored quite a lot of it. To sum up our feelings of this hotel was the Damon's own feedback form, we did not have a bad thing to say about the accommodation or the services all top notch, the only comment and this a measure of how good it is was the squeak from furniture you get in this type of construction, simply resolved with stick on pads.
So if you are going there you will be pleasantly surprised.

Room Tip: We were at the back, quite away from main pool, but the pool was not noisy.

Stayed for a week in 2-bedroom apartment, which was very spacious and spotless throughout. Even the exterior is very well maintained. We stayed in room 324 in C block which overlooks the small second pool with a piece of waste land adjacent which wasn’t a very pleasant view so I would suggest you ask for a pool view overlooking the main pool. As other people have highlighted there are no lifts and our apartments was on the third floor our party were all in our sixties so the stairs can be a bit problematic if you have mobility problems. The staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful and the location is good you can also use the facilities at the Damon’s sister hotel Kefalos Beach Village located a short walk away on the beach front which is also an excellent Hotel. We stayed B&B and the food was good with a hot and cold choice (although no fried eggs) but lots of good bars & restaurants on the doorstep pleasant walk to the harbour either by road or the longer way round the beach. Great location for local transport bus stop outside the hotel 1.50 euros any trip and for those on a budget you can get the 612 from paphos airport to the harbour (terminus) the change to 615 (Coral Bay Tomb of Kings Road) and the bus stop is across the road from the Damon.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a main pool view and on the ground floor if you have any mobility problems

have been to paphos 3 times before booking damon apartments. THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST.
Apartments were lovely only wish we had booked a first floor apartment as the climb to the second floor is a bit troublesome if you have mobility problems. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and the entertainment with Pino and Paula was fab. We stayed bed and breakfast and there was plenty to choose from. It is close to many great restaurants if you wish to dine out as we did for 14 days. The atmosphere around the pool was so relaxing and friendly and pool area has plenty sunbeds and umberellas. Have no complaints at all and are looking forward to a return visit next year and hopefully many years to come.

Room Tip: If anyone has mobility problems ask for a ground or first floor apartment as there are no lifts.
