“Definitely worth the money”
Reviewed 15 May 2014 via mobile

We stayed here for a week. I really can't fault it. The staff were lovely, welcoming, friendly and helpful and the apartments were spotless. Usually in sc I usually scrub everything first but there really was no need. Towels were changed regulary (I think almost daily) and the room was cleaned daily too, sometimes twice a day.

The only negative thing I would say is the supermarket staff are miserable and unfriendly but I don't think they are hired by Kefolos hotels.

You can walk to town and the port (its lovely if you go along the beach/ coast) and tomb of the kings in about 20 -25 minutes. The beach is about 10 minutes and so is the mall.

I would also recommend the restaurant Laona in town for amazing authentic Greek food and Sun Fresh bakery on Tomb of the Kings road (5 minutes walk) for delicious cakes, pastries, ice cream, wraps etc.

having stayed there before we knew what to expect, on arrival it was very busy but were dealt with very quickly and were in our room in minutes. we had paid extra for a superior room and what a pleasant surprise almost every thing was new including cooker/fridge and television
, the bedroom was immaculate and tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and plenty of storage.it even had adjustable reading lamps both sides of the beds. the dining area and kitchen were fully equipped and very clean and the sitting area ad two bed/sofas and to complete the area a flat screen television including a USB socket which was handy for downloaded programmes on a memory stick ( which came in handy as we had some bad weather) there are no English channels. the breakfast were plentiful but lacking in quality and had toast every morning. all in all this is great hotel and staffed with very friendly and helpful staff and well maintained and clean all areas, we will be coming back again.

Room Tip: for the price I would pay for a superior room

We returned here for our second visit and can only say we were glad we did, the refitted rooms are great, the welcome was smooth and efficient again.

The only let down was the weather and i cant blame the hotel for that :-)

The location is excellent, the sister hotel on the beach that you can use fro free is amazing and a must when the sun shines.

For a nice no frills cost effective break in a lovely location this hotel is recommended.

Thank you Damon staff

We stayed at Damon on our first trip to Cyprus in April/May 2014. Our room was excellent, very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful at night. The pool area was also nice and clean, with sunbeds always available. The staff were always friendly and smiling. Great location, walking distance from the beautiful harbour. Will definitely want to come back.

This was my wife and my second visit to this hotel. This one was marred by un-seasonal weather however this was not down to the hotel or its staff.

Once more, the apartment was spotless and well-equipped, beds comfortable and everything worked. The air-conditioning was slightly suspect and I entered into a discussion with Reception who said the AC was centrally controlled between Heat and Cooling. In reality it works well enough and is appropriate.

There were plenty of sunbeds, all of which worked, the pool being clean and well tended. Pool bar excellent with reasonably priced snacks available.

Staff always have been and continue to be friendly, particularly Linda and Yiannis (deputy manager). Reception too is well-manned and language is not a problem.

The positioning of the hotel is excellent with close and efficient bus service a few yards from the building. There is a coast path where a stimulating walk can be undertaken before rewarding oneself with a cold beer and good food in the many eating/drinking establishments in Paphos Harbour.

We will go back again as this place ticks all our boxes, is great value-for-money and consistent.

Room Tip: As I prefer quiet, I wouldn't choose a room overlooking the main pool as you'll be subjected...

Stayed at Damon last July for the 2nd time, first time being Sept 2012.Had e-mailed hotel prior to arrival with room request, which was honoured,we stayed in a 1 bedroomed apt in block E,facing the main road.we had a huge balcony and despite the traffic , once the doors we closed never heard a sound and I am a very light sleeper. There was even a bottle of wine and basket of fruit left for us as we were returning guests, very nice touch I thought.the room was cleaned every day and clean towels whenever we wanted, reception staff helpful and pleasant as always, breakfast something for everybody, yoghurt, selection of cereal, eggs, bacon, cakes etc,2 pools always sun loungers available. Damon is centrally located, a nice 20 min walk to the old town,or a short bus ride or 25 min or so walk to the harbour. We went around the harbour much more than the first visit and found much more choice and prices more competitive, you could get a nice 3 course with 1/2 carafe of wine and coffee & brandy for 12 euros each.Around Damon we liked Pit Stop bar,Green Corner,Tramps , also newly opened was a Greek place called 3 little pigs authentic Greek food, pork, chicken etc was fab , all in all we've had 2 great hols at Damon and are looking forward to our return this sept
