Friendly helpful staff who insisted that nothing was a problem. In a nice location with Plenty of Bars and Restaurants in close proximity and the Kings Mall shopping centre only 200 Yards away. An excellent base to explore the Island. I was so impressed that I'm going to book and stay again in 2015.

first stayed last year, went back this year. Requested a quiet room and got it. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A welcome back gift in our room which was a lovely surprise. At breakfast greeted by name. Barbeque evenings with entertainment, food looked mouth watering.
They made this holiday not just good but special. Looking forward to next year already.

Room Tip: Ground floor if you don't like stairs, stayed in C block at back nice and quiet

Booked the Damon with Thomson 5 weeks before our holiday and were really grateful for the trip advisor reviews. It's exceeded our expectations to be honest. A really lovely place to be staying in (still here) and well recommended. All the staff know you by name and make a special effort to say good morning at breakfast (Yiannis). Mirella on reception is just lovely and always smiling and helpful. For anyone thinking of coming to this part of Cyprus, this hotel is perfect for quality and laid back relaxation. It is exceptionally clean (sometimes the housekeepers clean the rooms x2 daily!). The rooms are spacious and well equipped if you are self catering. Nothing is too much trouble. It's entertainment duo are great, very interested in ensuring everyone is included in the days activities (if you want to) and just chatting if you just feel like relaxing. Everyone being happy is the hotel's motto I think!
The hotel is very close to everything. And there is plenty of choice of places to eat around the area. The walk along the beach just off the main road, to the harbour, is lovely especially of an evening where you can catch the sunset. Buses are very frequent just outside the hotel. Coral bay is great but very busy. Tomb of the kings is about 300m (about a 10 minute walk) and is very moving to visit. A Very unspoilt and un-commercialised burial site just on the doorstep.
It's been a perfect holiday and still a few days to go!
Thanks, kefalos Damon- it's been great!

Stayed at the Damon Hotel Apartments with my girlfriend for 1 week in July.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who gave us maps of the hotel and Paphos, and lots of information about our stay.

The room was very spacious, as it had kitchen facilities too. It worked out cheaper to have a room with a kitchen than one without! The air con, bathroom and balcony were all great. We had to pay 1.80 per day for use of the safe, but that's just a small charge.

The pool had plenty of sunbeds around so never had save them, and the pool was lovely and warm.

Breakfast was always fantastic, and the staff absolutely lovely. One staff member, Linda I think, remembered which room we were staying in after only asking us once!

Pino, the entertainer, was very funny and tried to get everyone to have a laugh. Although sometimes if you just wanted to relax by the pool you had to avoid being forced to play darts or volleyball or whatever.

The on site supermarket was okay, nothing special, but fine for bottled water and things for lunch etc. However we had lunch at the pool bar on our last day and the food was fantastic!

The location of the hotel is a bit of a sham as Tomb of the Kings Avenue is fairly desolate. However getting the bus into the harbour for 1.50 is a bargain and there are loads of nice restaurants and bars down there. NB DO NOT GET CONNED BY THE DAY TICKETS ON THE BUS. The bus offers a day ticket for 5 euros. However this runs out at 11pm but the driver fails to tell you that. And after 11pm the bus tickets go up to 2.50. This seemed to be a big problem with lots of people being fooled into buying the day tickets and then having to buy a full fare ticket as well after 11pm.

Overall the hotel was fantastic and we have a nice relaxing break. We probably wouldn't visit again due to the area being a bit desolate, but would definitely recommend the hotel itself if you don't mind travelling, or would just like to lay around the pool.

stayed at these apartments 2 years ago (may 2012)...our room overlooked the smaller pool and so thought we were in for a very quiet holiday....unfortunately this was not to be the case....the first week we spent with no sleep what so ever due to a dog barking all night and all day that was in a cage underneath our bedroom window....I reported this to our rep who reported it to the reception and was told this would be sorted....it stopped for one night then started again...we reported this again to our rep who again reported this to reception and yet again the dog was quiet for a few hours...I eventually lost the plot and the day before we were due to go home I went to reception myself and put in a complaint about the constant barking....they eventually offered to move us to a new room...unfortunately we were due to leave the hotel the following day so decided to stay where we were...its just a pity that this couldn't be done earlier in the holiday...the rep was fantastic and did all she could to help..Its such a pity as the hotel was fabulous as was the rooms and staff..We had a beautiful apartment and would've been more than happy to go back to this hotel for another holiday...when we got home from our holiday we went straight to thompsons and put in a complaint and stupidly thought we would get an apology....we didn't and have never been contacted by them since....

We spent 10 days here in early May, we had a fab room facing the road which was huge and not noisy at all, air con in room was great and ample space for the two of us, the staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, drinks at the bar were lovely and always delivered with a smile, the pool was lovely and always sun beds available. Cleanliness can't be faulted and I was most impressed to see the pool being cleaned every morning. Great location and very good access to all restaurants. Breakfast was good but I would have liked fresh eggs cooked to order. Will defiantly return to this great hotel.
