Fantastic hotel that doesn't break the bank. Great location, close to loads of bars and restaurants that have live entertainment on most nights - try Pitstop, Alfie T's or The Prince, Fat Mama's is also worth a visit but it is quite expensive. Hotel is basic but kept clean, maids came in every day. Sofia and Mary on reception are lovely and will help you with anything you want. We stayed for a week and there was loads to do, we didn't have time to hire a car to explore further afield! You can take a 10 minute walk via the main road to the harbour where there are ancient ruins in abundance and loads of shops, you can stroll to the Tomb of the Kings - a real treat for only 1.7 euros, hop on a bus for only 1 euro and go to the market or Coral Bay or take a lovely walk along the beach path. There is also an open top bus that you canhop on and off that costs only 10 euros for a day, the drivers are all English and great fun. Paphos is very British with load of ex-pats there but I'm sure that you will have a fantastic break there because there is so much to see and do.

As always this friendly hotel / apartments gave us a lovely holiday, nothing is too much trouble and always willing to help with any questions. Will carry on recommending, as has all you need for a relaxing break, central for all resturants, bars and taxis also good local bus service at the corner of the road--See you next year

We me and my girlfriends stayed at the damon hotel apartments for 7 nights from the 11th of september and we couldnt of picked a better place to stay! Everything from cleaniness to service this includes food, pool area, the apartments themselves are amazing and although the pool area is knocked down on other reviews its perfectly sized for the apartments! When we decide to go back to cyprus there wouldnt b anywhere else we would stay other than the damon! The staff are extremely friendly and always happy to help. The weather was also very good to say it was towards the end of the season! There was always something to do and the fasouri waterpark in limmasol is an absolute must, this is the second time ive been to cyprus and the 3rd time ive been to the fasouri so you can see what i think of it. So if your planning on going to paphos i seriously recommend you stay at the damon hotel apartments not to just for that ive listed put for a perfect holiday and a great location. We would go back to the damon tomorrow if we could but id go for 2 weeks cus 1 week at the damon just isnt enough.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! First of all there are 7 floors and no Lift?? And absolutely no one willing to help a 60 yr old woman with a bad back up 5 of those floors to her apartment (Tell a lie, we did manage to get one man to help but he only helped us up to the 2nd floor then abandoned us!) The apartment is VERY basic in style a bit 80's really, the kettle and toaster didnt work and I spent the first few days boiling water in a saucepan to make tea. The maid just seemed to constantly wake us up to clean even when we had the Do not disturb sign on the door! I asked quite a few times to be moved to a ground floor apartment and my wishes were just brushed off (I found most of the staff extremley unhelpful apart from the night time receptionist who was lovely) Eventually we got moved to a ground floor apartment only for it to be completely over run with ants, dead ants, live ants, ANTS!! Everywhere, the maid cleaned every 2 days and I was constantly brushing the floor but there were piles of them everywhere! I have pictures on my phone to upload when I get the chance! The only plus side I can think of for this hotel was its location as it was in the heart of the Tomb of the Kings. I would definetly not recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Large, beautifully clean apartment-really central -local buses just outside-we went to the market, the harbour, coral bay, airport-all over the place for 1 euro each journey. Hotel itself and the surrounding areas really clean at all times.Small shops and large supermarket nearby. You can walk to the Harbour in 20 minutes-bus takes 5.Particularly good location for my sister and husband as they both have mobility problems and we did not want to hire a car. Loads of places to eat nearby but most times went to the Harbour-lovely place to sit and watch the world go by-try the Harbour Cafe-lovely food, not too pricey and a lovely place to be. Coral Bay was fab too.Back to Damon-my sister thought her bed too hard-we didn't find this a problem at all-staff nice and helpful. Our apartment was lovely and clean but had rotten outlook-complained to reception and after 2 nights got another apartment with pool view so was happy about that. Added bonus was that we could use sister hotel facilites, which we never did partly because we were too tired at the end of the day to go there-Incidentally sister hotel gets a great write up on Tripadvisor.By the way decided on Damon after reading reviews on Tripadvisor . I don't book anything these days without checking on there first.Anyway to recap-Damon excellent value for the money-clean and central!!!! Forgot-took lovely coach trip after our boat trip got cancelled due to choppy water-.Up mountains to villages and Aphrodite's bath.

On to the weather-it was very hot-nudging 90 's (3-10 October)-couple of cloudy days which cooled it down a bit for us and made it easier to get around.
