That was a very good hotel for a fair price, would definitely recommend it for anyone, not actually depending on their travel purpose. The area seemed to be safe and peaceful, not really that long way from the central bus station or the beautiful marina of Paphos, staff was nice and helpful, and i found the breakfast especially enjoyable because of plenty of fresh fruit and other local goodies

We've stayed at this hotel about 8 times now, and spent 4 nights there last week. As usual, the boss Nayia was incredibly friendly & helpful and the cleaner was excellent. The rooms were perfectly adequate - clean and with tv and ensuite. It's hard to imagine a better 2* hotel in such a good position. It's 5 minutes walk to the new Kings Mall - very large and impressive shopping centre with lots of big-name stores, restaurants and a supermarket. Needless to say we'll be back again in June for a longer stay and look forward to the warm welcome. Thanks Nayia, love from Jeff & Lavinia to you and your family :-)

Room Tip: If you don't like your room then just ask - they're so accommodating and will try to move yo...

This hotel is in a good location & the staff are friendly but
Good:The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean, right by bus stops, good choice of nightlife/drinking/eating out all close by (recommend Tea for Two)

Bad:the room was not very clean, the breakfast was a fairly poor & uninspiring & I found very green mouldy bread one morning.

Very bad: there is a karaoke bar opposite the hotel (Alfie T's) that kept going until 2am every night. The hotel manager did call the police & local laws dictate that music should be inside or finish by midnight but the bar just ignored this, every night. Not the hotels fault admittedly but the noise was horrific. I was dead opposite the bar but 2 friends were away from the front & using ear plugs but still got very disturbed sleep.

Met some people who have been going twice a year for 8 years so it works for some people but it would definitely not be for me again.

Room Tip: If you do stay there please request a room overlooking the pool side to have the best chance of bein...

rooms worth what we paid , a bit run down , but beds comfy , and lovely sea view and sun sets divine, we were firstly put in a room with no balcony, but i did ask to be moved , and we were moved next day , however , ants were a problem on the day we moved into the room , but after reporting this to reception , the room , beds changed everything was thoroughly vacuumed and sprayed immediately dealt with , and we had no problem for the rest of the week , but i did buy a spray which i used frequently , we had family in another room , and they had ants in the room too (unhappy face ) , but they said that this had been a problem on the island , so what can you do i guess
the breakfast was delightful 10 /10 variety of fresh breads daily , toaster , juice , tea coffee, boiled eggs , yoghurt , fresh fruit bowl , plus fruit as well , on the breakfast , selection of cakes , toms cucumber, meat and cheese , a great start to the day !!!! and always plentiful
we didnt use the pool area , as we were out everyday , but it looked nice enough
cheap and cheerful , good for a week , staff very good , cleaners very good , beds made daily , and fresh towels daily , so cant grumble at all

Room Tip: the hotel is in a great location , right on the main road , bus stops very near , about 5 mins walk...

Lovely hotel. Very central. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from. (fresh fruit, bread and cake) Just have to pay a little extra for cooked breakfast. The pool is nice. The room and bathroom is a little dated but it is very clean and becuase the staff are so helpful it makes up for this. There is free wifi and a good bar that serves up good value meals. Only down side is that you get told when checking in if you want to use the fridge and air con in the room there is an additional charge each day. Overall it was great value for money and i wouldnt hesitate to stay again

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the street have a nice sea view however you can hear the karaoke bars until ab...

I booked a one night stay at King's hotel on 11/10/13. I picked my friend from Pafos airport at 22:00 hrs on Friday 11/10/13 and we were at King's hotel half an hour later. However, we were told that because we were late our room was given to other prople who would stay for seven nights. We were both tired and pretty frustrated by this experience. The landlady of the hotel sent a taxi to direct us to this other place called Fitos Inn quite far away from Kings hotel. They did look after us at the Fitos Inn but I found the whole experience appauling. Firstly, we arrived at Fitos Inn at about midnight which only added to our irritation and tiredness. Secondly, we booked the Kings hotel because it was close to The Tombs of the Kings and the mosaics. By being sent to the other side of the city we decided not to bother visiting the cites at all. Thirdly and most importantly, I paid for staying at the hotel in advance which makes the behaviour of the owner totally unprofessional and unacceptable.

A very nice hotel and run by very pleasant staff, very accommodating, that's why I chose the Kings Hotel, for the second time. Plenty to eat for breakfast ! Very close to the restaurants and also close to bus stops which make it convenient to travel to nearby Coral Bay or to the Harbour area. There is a small swimming pool to the rear which is kept clean and tidy. I found many of the other visitors staying at the hotel very friendly, and also regular visitors to the hotel.
Noticed a few ants in the room on the first night, but soon vanished and not seen again after reporting to the management the next day. WiFi was free, like many of the restaurants.
Looking forward to my next visit, whenever that will be, soon I hope! Thank you for a pleasant holiday.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the swimming pool are quieter than the front facing the main road, but then you don'...
