This is on a nice old building in the heart of the old Town, a couple of kilometers up from the gaudy sea-front bars, etc. There is plenty to see and do in the area, the tourist office is along the same road, and the Tombs of the Kings is not far away. The hotel staff are all friendly (especially George, the manager and resident artist), Wi-Fi is free throughout and the restaurant/food is good, if a little pricey. The only niggles concerned the pressure and temperature of the water, the lack of adequate heating (although you can pay extra for it and there is a nice open fire on the restaurant), and the poor TV facilities. However, most of that won't be a problem during most of the year (when temperatures are much warmer) and who really needs a TV on holiday !

Room Tip: Room 210 has a nice view of the courtyard dining-area.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. I had a late flight so arrived late at the hotel, was exhausted from a 13 hour day of traveling and was so hungry, the very nice owner made me a sandwich even though the kitchen was closed.
This hostel is in a great location right next to the main bus station and away from the touristy hustle and bustle. The rooms were fully equipped and the place had so much character.
This place offers a great cultural experience at an affordable price, Run buy a really nice family that really take care of the guests.

A great hotel away from the mass tourism area and within easy reach of public transport. Room and food very good and the staff are very willing to help with any problems. Giorgios, the owner was kind enough to give us a packed breakfast on the morning of departure as we had to leave by 7am.

The single down-side to our visit (December) was the inadequacy of the water supply in the shower and the paucity of hot water. Not enough water coming through to fill the shower head so it was a trickle. Immersion heater on only 6am to 7 am and then 6pm to 7pm although they did change the timer on one day when we came in wet about 4pm, so that we could have a shower earlier than about 7pm.

Best bus is the 610 from the market. Turn right out of hotel door, down to traffic lights, straight on into the market and at the other end is the bus stop, a few metres on the left. Frequent service to the harbour (and all the rest of the tourists). In winter not many eating places, but a few metres from the market bus stop, towards the mosque, is Soli Aeria which provides very good food at modest prices. One or two more around that area. Probably buzzing in summer.

In summer there is a good public bus service from airport to the harbour - currently €1 per person (€33 in a taxi) and then 610 or 618 from harbour to close to hotel.

Overall well worth staying there. Can recommend it.

Room Tip: Rooms on the road side are OK - not much traffic after about 10pm until 7am.

Nice old building but quite far from where everything is happening. Rooms a little old fashioned with a small bathroom. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Nice restaurant in the patio but it was empty when i was there. You can park your car in the public parking place just at the other side of the street, and it is free during weekends.

This is a traditional Cyrpiot hotel. It is not for people who want the glitz of the concrete blocks by the beach but for those who enjoy hotels as they used to be. This one is in the centre of the old city of Pafos. The comfortable rooms are mostly situated around a courtyard where you can have delicious Cypriot food. The staff are very friendly and most helpful..
When you stay here you are really visiting Cyprus - not some soulless place which could be virtually anywhere.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road can be noisy

I have been going to the Kiniras for over 10 years but only on my last visit realised it was on Trip Advisor. Although I have never stayed there, I have taken people for dinner and every time I am in the vicinity, particularly in the summer, I go for a "metrio" (coffee). The courtyard is a cool, relaxing place to sit with friends in the heat of the summer. Service always friendly and relaxed, (verging on difficult to get the bill!). Everyone I have taken there thinks it is wonderful, the building is a delight.
