Just returned on Sept 24th 2013 from a brilliant 2 week stay at the Pandream Hotel Paphos Cyprus. Rooms were spotless, very roomy and bright, lovely balcony, cleaned daily. Really friendly staff, always quick to respond to any queries and requests. Recommend e-mailing the hotel and requesting a room with a pool view as some rooms overlook a road, and some on the ground floor are beside the car park. Pool is really lovely, spotlessly clean, lots of sunbeds, sun all day. Unfortunately when we were there the pool bar was only open for a few hours at the weeked. Small supermarkets nearby are quite pricey but there is a big one in Paphos town which is much cheaper and only a short bus ride or half hour walk and very easy to find. Really easy to get around on buses, flat fare of 1 euro 50 or daily ticket costs 5 euros, get them on the bus. We had a really fun day at the water park which is also walking distance from the hotel. Nice small municipal beach 5 minutes away with a really nice beach bar, ice cream van and snacks. Really good car hire rates from Horizon, which is directly opposite the hotel, they did us a really good deal as we wanted a 4x4 for a couple of days as well as a regular saloon. Loads of really good restaurants, best bar we found was the Felix bar which made amazing cocktails and had really funny entertainment every night and really nice bar staff. Well worth hiring a car and exploring the island a bit, lots of lovely beaches to find and archaeological sites to see.

Room Tip: e-mail before and ask for room with a view of the pool to avoid being by the road or car park. We h...

We enjoyed our stay at the Pandream very much. It's not one of those up-market impersonal hotels like the expensive monoliths further down Poseidonis Avenue, this is a family run operation where personal service is foremost. If you needed help or advice or just ordinary housekeeping requirements, you had immediate attention. The owners are are "hands on" individuals and the staff are equally supportive. The rooms are basic and need updating but they have everything you need, if you want to self cater you can do so, alternatively you can use the very reasonably priced Meat Academy Restaurant attached to and run by the hotel staff. The hotel has a well maintained swimming pool with comfortable loungers and a pool bar nearby and also Tennis Courts. Another advantage is that it is very conveniently situated near bus stops to the Harbour or the Waterpark. You can purchase an all day ticket for 5 euros and travel to the Harbour, Tombs of the Kings Road, Coral Bay and many other locations, just check the routes online before you go. You can save a great deal of cash by using Public Transport instead of hiring a car although a car can be very useful if you want to travel further afield. I recommend this hotel to you, you will not be disappointed, don't waste your hard earned cash on the expensive alternatives

Room Tip: Try to avoid a room next to the road, the refuse lorry makes a fearful noise at 6 am and revelers fr...

My Sister and I loved our recent stay at the Pandream Apartments. We were given a warm welcome by the Receptionist who showed us to our room which we found to be very clean and comfortable. The water in the swimming pool was always crystal clear and clean and the surroundings are spotless too with ample sun loungers (which have comfortable padded mats) and parasols. There is also a very small pool for young children. They have a pool bar open during the day which sells a small selection of drinks, crisps and a few ices – some hot/cold snacks would have been a nice option here but they do have an adjoining restaurant The Meat Academy where you can enjoy good food and drinks. There are also 2 supermarkets just outside.

The apartments are situated in a peaceful area with shops, restaurants and bars jotted along the main road which leads to the harbour (20 minute walk) or there are bus stops outside which will take you to and from the harbour and also the airport for 1.50 euro single trip or 5 euro all day tickets (great value if you want to explore a few places in Paphos during your stay). We used the all day ticket to go to the Market and Coral Bay during the day and then into the harbour area in the evening.

If you are looking for a pleasant, peaceful and relaxing self catering holiday then you won’t be disappointed in the Pandream – the Staff are very friendly and courteous too, it’s great, thanks we really enjoyed it!

We couldn't have thought any other place to visit when we decided to visit Paphos again. I do not really know what some other people have in mind and write this so untrue comments. The hotel is very nice. Fabulous service, daily service, helpfully staff and spacious rooms. Located very close to the harbour, only a 20 mins walk or of course you can use the public transportations, actually there is a bus stop only 150 meters away from the hotel. The reception service is fantastic ready too assist you in any request you have. The cleaning services is brilliant, we requested a second floor room which they were able to fulfill our request although we know that is not always possible. We love in fact we met a couple with two lovely children who have been coming to the Pandream for many many years and they have explained that this family apartments really makes you feel as being part of the family. I couldn't agree less. Pool bar was open while we were on holidays and this lovely boy was very kind and talkative. Do not miss trying the amazing Mrat Academy while being in Paphos. Seriously is probably the best meal you will ever have in Paphos. All ingredients fresh and unbeatable prices. Note also that this hotel also has gym, sauna, jacuzzi and tenis court and of course a mini market which you can easily stock few items you might need while on holidays. We did not want to leave and we are already missing our fantastic one week there. I encourage anyone to book.

p.s. the most splotless clean pool you will ever see. Enjoyed it soooo much!!

See you soon Pandream Team. Thanks for an amazing vacations.

The hotel staff and facilities were fantastic for what we paid. The rooms were cleaned regularly and if we did have anything wrong we reported it to reception and they had it sorted in no time.
The staff all friendly and helpful, right from the room cleaners, through the restaurant and reception staff. It is probably the most welcome feeling I have felt in a hotel. The accommodation is spacious, very clean and with great facilities. We found the apartment to be cleaned with an excellent size and had everything we needed and with a good view over the pool area. The pool area was beautifully kept with plenty of sun beds available. We stayed there in the beginning of August 2013 and had the most wonderful time, it is a little oasis with a great Pandream family who really look after you which makes this a much better place to stay than big hotels. Wonderful holidays, felt very welcomed and safe and cared a really lovely family feeling and lovely place. The harbour is a 25 minute walk away with lots of bars and restaurants around but before visiting the restaurants of the harbour area you should taste the delicious plates of the Meatacademy restaurant of the hotel . I would recommend this hotel/apartments to those who want to feel home away from home .

Have just come back from a 3 week trip to Cyprus, during which we booked 3 nights at the Pandream Apartments in Paphos. Although the reception area looks very up to date it is a completely different story when you reach the rooms ! Although excellently located with a balcony that overlooked the pool area, to say the room was 'dated' is an understatement ! The décor was extremely tired, the furniture very old and worn out, the beds amongst the most uncomfortable we've ever slept on and the oven, fridge, etc., positively ancient !!!

However, unlike a few other reviews on here, we found the room to be clean and the maid did her best coming in each day and making it smell a bit nicer ! On the positive side, they are quite spacious apartments, over 2 levels, and the hotel is very well situated. We easily walked to the harbour every evening and there are plenty of lovely restaurants en route if you find it too far !

I would like to add that the staff at the apartments were absolutely fantastic ! The girl on reception was extremely friendly and chatty - answering any questions that we had and the manager spent some considerable time with a map showing us what to do and see in our three days in Paphos - exceptional service !!!

The pool area was ok - nice pool and no problem with sunbeds! Pool bar was, however, a complete waste of time ! We went up there once for ice creams from the freezer, only to find they had all defrosted and were told we would be better of going to the supermarket (right next door) and another time to grab something for lunch - they don't do food !! Back to the supermarket for frozen pizzas !!!

To summarise, if you are looking for somewhere with a good location, for a short break and don't mind 'dated' - go for it ! There were people there who were on their 2 week family holiday - no thanks !!!

Room Tip: Definitely go for a ground floor room - balcony opens straight on to pool

Dont expect too much ! First room we were given was dirty, scruffy, gloomy, sink hanging off wall, asked to swop. Second room not much better, terrible chipped paintwork and surfaces, dirty curtains, filthy lampshade, no welcome pack, irregular maid service, cracked tiles, manky ancient fridge, door lock not safe, balcony door difficult to open.....Oh and it had to be sprayed as we found a cockroach ! Generally these apartments look nicer from the outside, reception is lovely but rooms are 1970s and need a damn good clean.

Room Tip: choose low room, 3 floors and no lift is not ideal !
