“Best Restaurant in Paphos”
Reviewed 3 August 2012

Tweedies really is a fantastic restaurant, which offers very innovative dishes. It is very intimate & can only accomodate about 28 covers. The menu is not too large like some other restaurants & in my opinion the quality of food benefits from this fact. The owner & staff are excellent & the service is very good. They do not accept credit cards so you must pay by cash. This really is a top end restaurant & it makes a very nice change to experience some very fine dining. They have a good range of wine at reasonable prices & also offer tapas days once a month. I really highly recommend this restaurant. It is closed for one month until 31st August 2012.

“"As Good As It Gets"”
Reviewed 22 July 2012

We had already booked a table at Tweedies prior to our arrival for a weeks break in the Kissonerga area of Cyprus, we were not disappointed. Hilary & Craig have turned this small and intimate restaurant into something very special.
A warm welcome was the first of what was to be many highlights that for us separated this from the many other eateries in the area. An aperitif in the garden whilst browsing the varied and locally sourced menu just increases the anticipation of the meal that is to come. Hilary and the front of house team ensure that you feel welcome and at ease as the menu choices are described in detail.
There is no mistaking the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail when our meals arrived. For us it was a meal of the highest standard, with a dessert to leave you wanting more. A well balanced meal at a surprisingly good price.
Hilary also took time out on a busy night to point out some of the better places to visit on the Island and where the better hotels are situated for future stays. This just made us feel more welcome and really felt like friends rather than just customers at the end of the night.
I suppose the the quality line is would you dine there again? The answer is most certainly "YES", and we did once more in our weeks stay and all was as before "Superb".
Well done Hilary & Craig and long may the chemistry that makes "Tweedies" work so very well continue for many years to come.
Don't think too hard about this one, just book a table and just enjoy!

“Best of British”
Reviewed 29 June 2012

Hilary & Craig have owned and run this superb restaurant for around 10 years and in the many visits over the years we have always enjoyed their welcome, great service and superb menu.

Only a short distance off the well-worn tourist trail to Coral Bay, the ambience is unique in this small 30+ cover restaurant with pleasant little garden for drinks. There are many better located eateries in the locality but none in our view, with as good a dining experience.

Tweedies clientele is almost exclusively ex-pat Brits, reflected in the frequently changing menu. From Hilary's home-made bread to Craig's amazing dishes, be prepared to be amazed by the presentation coming out of their very modest kitchen.

Every little detail is exquisite - we enjoy every occasion and in comparison with other restaurants the value is excellent.
