There is absolutely nothing NOT to like! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff who felt like our friends after 3 nights. Dimos & Elena at the pool - we miss you! Our 2 bed flat/room #110 was stunning. Really wish every place I stayed was like this amazing room / resort. Wifi was fantastic everywhere throughout the property. The actual hotel room we were given to shower and change in before flying was a bonus & appreciated after a day at the beach. Great pedestrian walkway along the shoreline. A genuine thank you to everyone for such a top short break! No ice machine or room service but the bar next door has great food & festive beach bar chillout tunes & atmosphere.

Room Tip: Our 2 bed flat/room #110. There's also a room with a private pool that's fenced in on it...

Just spent 12 days with my partner staying at The Amphora Hotel And Suites. Our stay could not have been made any more comfortable and pleasant than it was by the friendly and attentive staff. The hotel itself is in a perfect location complimenting a tranquil atmosphere with the option of a short stroll down the beachfront to the popular harbour area. We stayed In a one bedroom suite which was spacious and welcoming, with a large balcony with great views of the harbour and in particular a perfect view of the sunset. All in all a fantastic stay and we only wish it didn't have to end!

Just back from an all too short week at the Amphora. Impressed from the outset at the enormous, stylish reception. Reception staff extremely helpful, especially Laura who even took time to teach us some Greek phrases during our stay.

Had one bedroomed superior suite which was beautifully furnished; immaculately clean; well equipped and had amazing views over the pool area, garden area and toward the sea. I personally loved the simplicity of the décor, no nasty fabrics or cheap pictures on the walls.

Breakfast included just about everything you could want. Suite 48 restaurant within the grounds was fantastic value and service.

Pool bar was ideal: great food; cold beer; happy hour at 5 (Pimms O'clock for us)! and Dimos (No 1 Barman) and Alina could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Plenty of poolside/garden sunbeds and beach towels supplied!!!

Location is superb; beach front; short walk to Harbour (15 mins) and everything you need in the surrounding area including bars, supermarkets and restaurants.

I'd be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break in luxury.

Room Tip: Hotel seems to have been built so that all rooms have sea & pool views so you're unlikely to...

Amphora Hotel and Suites is a very nice hotel, although we stayed just for a night and wish to stay more. Also, an ideal place especially for a young couple. The people are very polite and helpful. Strongly recommend it!

Just returned from a wonderful week staying at this hotel. The hotel is fantastic and is in a beautiful location. I have visited Paphos before and have found other hotels in this area too crowded and commercialised. The Amphora is exactly to opposite. It is set within its own spacious grounds where there is room to sun bathe in peace and tranquility with fantastic views across the coastline and of the harbour. It is ideally placed to walk into the old town and harbour area, just over 1km away and the bus route is nearby to visit the Waterpark and the Tomb of the Kings. The rooms are light, airy and of a high standard with maid service twice a day. There was ample choice for breakfast and the food was of a good standard. Suite 48 is a bar and restaurant within the complex that has a lovely atmosphere both day and night. Staff were very accommodating and even provided blankets for guest in the late evening (it was a little breezy but not cold and lovely to sit out). It was so picturesque in both day and after dark when the palm trees were lit with mood lighting. The swimming pool and pool bar were lovely and special mention should be made of Demos, Alina and Louisa who work at the pool bar. They were very attentive, friendly and helped to make our holiday even more enjoyable. Demos is the "Cocktail King" of Cyprus. We checked out at lunchtime but our flight was late evening. The staff were very accommodating and provided a room for shower and change after our day around the pool. I would fully recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again.

Having arrived via the complimentary taxi service (via certain travel agencies) from the airport we were greeted with a warm Cyprian welcome. Our room was inviting but simple, however the beds do seem a tad on the small side. There was a bath and shower with amenities, very comfortable set up. The best by far and where we spent most of our evenings was the balcony, great view of the sea and so chilled and relaxed we found it hard to move. There are two pools one for adults and one for kids and loungers that spread across the forecourt on to the grass overlooking the coast. The only thing I would say is that the hotel staff have very limited suggestions or understanding of what to do in Paphos and get confused when asked about authentic restaurants to visit. The room features were also not explained as we had trouble figuring out our AC and the fact that it is connected to the balcony door, as closing it automatically turns it on and vs versa.
You do have local shops and restaurants just across the road along with a bar playing music that can be heard but the balcony doors do shut it out if preferred. You can stroll along the coast to get to the Harbour in about 15min where your'll find a hubbub of restaurants and activity. If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful and sunny destination to get away from everyday life...then this is a great little place, especially for families and couples.
