Owner description: The winery is situated just outside Pano Panayia village, in the mountainous area of Paphos district in an altitude of about 850 m above sea level, surrounded from Paphos forest. We produce our wines from the indigenous grape varieties Xynisteri, Spourtiko , Promara (whites) and Ntopio Mavro, Maratheftiko and Yiannoudi(reds) which are cultivated in the best viticultural area of Cyprus, the Vouni Panayia area. Visitors coming to the winery can experience the traditional Cypriot hospitality; taste our wines, take a tour of the winery, watch the procedure of producing the wine and traditional products which are produced from the grape like soutzioukkos and zivania. The restaurant is open after reservation for lunch (seasonal traditional cuisine)

We have visited this amazing winery in Panayia several times! Mr Andreas, a visionary and a pioneer in creating excellent wines exclusively from indigenous varieties, has created a superb modern winery but with tradition in mind, located in the beautiful surroundings of Panayia. The hospitality of Mr Andreas, his wife and their daughter in law Maria is impeccable. They will invite you to their family table for lunch or they will treat you to whatever is in season. But what is even more amazing are the wines made only with native varieties of the island produced in the private vineyards of the winery. Well structured wines with character and modestly priced. My favourite is the Barba Yiannis made from 100% maratheftiko, the most interesting, in my opinion red variety of Cyprus. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Went there as part of an organised excursion. We met the friendly and honest owners and their family. Fireplace was waiting for us, nice atmosphere as it was cold outside. Were treated to local produce (local tea/coffee, soussiouko, palouze) and of course we tried several of the wines they make while the owner was describing their work at the winery, the wines they make and also invited our questions about wine in general. They also took us on a short tour of the winery facilities. Very informative, the guy seems honest and visionary about Cypriot wine made from Cypriot varieties which is good. I realize it’s all part of the excursion and good marketing for them but we still appreciated it. Did I say they make great wine? Well, they do,they make 4 white ones, 2 red and 1 rose, but they have a red wine which we particularly liked, great aroma and amazing taste at a reasonable price. We bought 2 bottles to take home with us, others bought many more!

What will capture you immediately at this place is its people! Mr Andreas and his family really make you feel like one of their own and you can tell immediately for their passion for wine making. We visited this place for a tour and wine tasting session, followed by meze lunch. Needless to say all were excellent. Among their several wine varieties you will definitely find one you will love.
We visited this place as a group of around thirty people and it could have been a tricky business, but every communication with them was perfect and when we were there they handled us perfectly, even accompanying us to the nearby nature trails.
It's a perfect place to spent a day with beautiful nature, views, wine and people around you! Finishing the day with a coffee in front of he fireplace, you will be sad to leave!!

I strongly recommend it. If you want to get out in the nature, taste some great wine, see a small winery and cellar and eat one of the best meals in Cyprus, this is the place. You will find very friendly people there. Visit them and enjoy.

What a fantastic and unexpected find. Having spent a lot of time in the key wine regions of Australia, New Zealand, Germany and France I was somewhat sceptical about a winery in Pathos growing traditional indigenous grape varieties. However what a wonderful surprise. The facilities here are world class, Andreas' knowledge, passion and enthusiasm is so refreshing and the tastings are informal but incredibly informative. The trip to the winery is in itself worthwhile with spectacular scenery along the way, with a number of historic monasteries and villages along the route. Once at the winery the views down the valleys are superb and you can sit either outside or inside and order food, coffee, soft drinks and wine and take in the views. The wines and the hospitality are world class and well worth the trip. We left with 6 bottles of wine and could have easily left with far more. I thoroughly recommend a visit to this fabulous location - you will not be disappointed
