Just back from a short winter break to the Imperial beach hotel my fifth visit but the first after the modernization work was completed and what an amazing job they have done, the building is in a lovely condition, the public areas are clean and fresh and the rooms are large and comfortable with new comfy beds and fully modernized bathrooms making for very relaxing surroundings, the dining room is excellent and the food is of a very high standard with a huge selection to satisfy even the most difficult to please. The location of the Hotel is on a flat walk to the harbour and shops but is also set in it's own grounds with plenty of sunbeds for the guests to use free of charge all kept in great condition, there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a jacuzzi, gym and with the animation team a wide selection of activities for people of all ages. The greatest asset this hotel has is it's staff that are without doubt first class, they are friendly warm and cheerful, knowledgeable and always greet you with a smile. There are no down sides to this hotel as it gets better with every visit and I would strongly advise you to visit you will not be disappointed

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the tennis courts get the sun all day, try for a sea view worth every penny of...

Loved everything about this holiday. Food was gorgeous, especially the Asian restaurant. Staff could not do enough for you throughout the stay. All inclusive well worth it. Spent many hours sitting on the wooden verandah lapping up the sun and drinking coffee/cocktails. Not sure if it is the best hotel for very young children.

This hotel is a favourite of mine in Paphos. Located right on the beach and about 20 minutes away from the harbour.

The rooms are big and have tea and coffee making facilities which is a bonus. The beds are very comfortable and big and the bathroom very nice.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and I emailed a request for a twin room and they replied within half an hour and out request was granted and we even had a pool and sea view.

Nothing is too much trouble here and having been to this hotel for 10 years now it has just got better and better.

The breakfast is extensive, hot and very good quality.

I highly recommended this hotel.

Arrived at my second home last week. ... and yet again had a lovely time.
Weather was good with just a little rain on 2 nights.
Food still at the very high standard it normally is .... very tasty and hot.
Only thing I would say, they have changed the animation team yet again....(last year's team led by Mohammed was very good). We were there 5 days and out of these....2 were karaoke. ... 1 was a game... and 2 singer's. None of which were that good. The animators didn't seem too friendly either. ...
But we will be back..... in may. ...june and sept. ...

Just reaturned from a too brief 4 night stay last week. Had a wonderfull time just wish we had been a bit luckier with the weather, still caught the sun a bit even though we only had one clear good day. The hotel and staff were brilliant, we were only half board and did not intend eating in every night but the food and facilities were more than adequate so stayed in every night. If the offer is still on i would upgrade to all inclusive drinks at 12 euro a day per head, any more than 3 pints or a bottle of wine each and you are quids in. We are even considering going back again next month but i suspect its just wishfull thinking.

can't recomend it enough

One week was not enough in this beautiful, luxurious and comfortable hotel. In Kato Paphos, or New Paphos area, so about 15 minutes walk out of the main town, the hotel has both indoor and outdoor pools, plenty of sun-bathing space around the hotel, with tennis courts a private beach and my favourite, its own water-sports facility! Out on the jet-skis, or water-skiing every day! Para-gliding, banana-boats, surf-boards all available also, so no shortage of activity in and around the hotel.

Restaurant was roomy and well decorated and the choice of food at the buffets was superb, plenty of choice to suit any palate, including vegetarian.

In-house entertainment was plentiful and OK, if you like that sort of thing (not really my scene...) and easy access on foot to a wide variety of local food and culture. Short walk (5 mins) to a great bar with sat TV for sports etc, and decent wine & beer from all over Europe.

Cyprus in general is not as good value for money as it was say 10 years ago, but it is beautifully hot and sunny and is awash with history and culture if you are prepared to explore.

Would I stay here again? Already booked for September 2014!

Room Tip: Views from any rooms are good but out across the Mediterranean Sea on your own balcony as the sun si...

Stayed in this hotel in Feb 2014, so first the good stuff-hotel is clean and lobby areas neat and tidy, rooms clean , with great superb beds and balcony furniture, the location is great too on the beach front with great view, but this is not in line with the quality u expect as there are some drawbacks to the whole package which make u want to find the better deal .Explicitly asked in writing if the indoor pool and jacuzzi was heated this is why i chose this hotel, the reply by email was that yes it is heated, it was COLD and not just my opinion but all the other guests too,.not warm at all, was heavily dissapointed of this but didnt want to spoil my evening and leave.this was one factor which will surely keep me away from here the next time, luckily i had booked a room that has a spa tub in it-super recomended if u decide to stay here (honeymoon suite) , the room had no slippers/robes even though it was the honeymoon suite-odd for a 4 star hotel, even many 2 star hotels offer this in Cyprus.the Coffee facilities in the room were bad quality, coffee was undrinkable and the brand not a quality brand that ud expect from a trusted hotel. The coffee (breakfast) was disgusting and should be changed to a decent coffee brand as these little things go far in my view.also the juices were water mixed with cheap orange solution, also not happy of this. The reception staff (1 of them) were smoking in the back office- and didnt have the CAN do attitude which simply made u feel like asking them anything was a hassle for them.the Mura restaurant food and waiters are great , just tables a little small and compact and it was a little crammed as u sat approx 1m to the next table ( not so private as 1 would like it to be).The channels in the room do not offer 1 movie channel unfortunately but local channels and some news channels and a polish channel. and wifi is at a charge in the rooms which is also a minus point.so the hotel needs to fix these things and theyl be on the game again 1) Honesty to guests will bring customer loyalty ( lied of pool being warm) 2) Fix the cofee issue 3) Wifi in all areas

Dear guest,

We would like to thank you for holidaying at the Louis Imperial Beach and for sharing your feedback online.

The fact that you appreciated our impeccable premises, spotless rooms and serene location brings us great pleasure. We are also truly delighted to see that our Asian restaurant, Mura by Akakiko along with its cordial service team has been to your utmost taste. Nevertheless we regret to hear about the issues you have encountered during your stay. In regards to our indoor pool, it is heated in winter but we are sorry if the temperature did not comply with your expectations. With respect to the bathrobes and slippers, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. As for our coffee, we would like to mention that since May it has been upgraded with a new brand. In relation to our reception staff, smoking behind the office is not allowed and rest assured that our staff is aware of this. We value your observation about our tables at Mura restaurant and your comment will be taken note of as part of our continuous work for improvement. As for our TV channels, we have a total of 17; however we are saddened you were disappointed. The wi-fi has been excluded from the room rate as we thought it would be unfair to charge our guests for something they might not wish to use. Still, we have free wi-fi in the lobby area.

We do hope that you will give Louis Hotels another chance to provide you with the esteemed experience we are known for. Let us suggest the King Jason (Pafos) for future visits as it would most probably meet your expectations better.

Yours sincerely,

The Management.
