Stayed at the Louis Imperial for the last two weeks in April.
Arrived after a short transfer from Paphos Airport, check in was quick and easy and we were given a honeymoon suite as we were to marry at the hotel. On arrival there were welcome drinks and snacks.
Room had a sea view and was clean and bright, the mini bar was re stocked daily and cleaned daily too. We ate in the main restaurant most nights, the food was good with plenty of choice. We also ate in the speciality Mura asian restaurant which was nice. The staff at the hotel are great and go out of their way to help. We got married during our stay, Nicole the wedding planner from the hotel is lovely, super organised and helpful. Also, Leanne the wedding planner from Thomson was so nice and helpful. The pool is a fair size, and has a small kids pool too. The hotel is on the beach and set in a nice garden setting. overall, we were really pleased with the hotel and couldn't fault our holiday. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: sea view and third floor

We've just got back from a week at the Imperial Beach and it definitely made our holiday! The rooms have all been refurbished with modern bathrooms and lcd TVs, shame there isn't more British channels though. We stayed half board and couldn't believe the amount of choice at breakfast and dinner. There was a full English available if you wanted it, pancakes, croissants, omelettes, yogurt, cereal etc. For tea there was also lots of variety with themed nights.
We found the location of the hotel to be perfect, a 20-25 min walk into paphos and a bus stop 200 yards away. Can't comment on entertainment as we went into paphos most nights. All in all can't really fault the hotel!! Definitely worth its four star status.

Arrived home last night after a lovely ten days in this beautiful hotel which when we visited Paphos last year was a work in progress. We had a sea view room which is well worth paying extra for and our room was spacious, the bed was lovely and comfy, there was plenty of storage space, a mini bar was replenished with soft drinks and water each day, a kettle, cups and free tea/coffee/milk was also a welcome addition.

The food in the hotel is fabulous only let down by the fact that when we arrived at around 10pm the restaurant was closed and the only food on offer was a simple supper with no hot food available. We could tell the hotel really wanted to provide superb service which in the main it did but this was a let down for us. We were asked for feedback on leaving and I did suggest having soup available for late arrivals so perhaps this will be improved upon.

The grounds are very well kept and very impressive and getting a sun bed was not a problem. The indoor swimming pool was lovely.

The hotel is in a lovely position for enjoying walks along the promenade and one day we did a long walk to the lighthouse and back having a coffee every now and then.

Would we book again, yes but not on an AI package, The hotel bar at night time did not have much atmosphere, the only entertainment been in the cavernous conference room. The music played in the bar was very contemporary and we ended up going out for drinks most nights so if we were to stay again we would do either a B&B or half board package.

To finish on a very positive note we have stayed in lots of foreign hotels but never have we stayed in one when a member of the hotel staff gets onto the bus to thank guests for staying and wish them a safe journey this was quite simply excellent and showed how much the hotel cared that you had enjoyed you stay!

Room Tip: Pay extra for a sea view room

Just back from a week at the Louis Imperial Beach Hotel - our first trip to Paphos and would say that we love the resort and would go back to this hotel again. It is in a great beach front position, with a lovely 15 minute walk to the harbour. The room was comfortable, newly refurbished with a sea view. The staff were all very friendly and most attentive. There was tons of space around the pool and in the grounds and always plenty of sunbeds. The food was very varied and tasty including the lovely birthday cake my husband received - a very nice touch. We will certainly be back again soon!

Room Tip: Choose a high, sea view room - perfect to watch the sun go down.

I stayed at the Louis Imperial Beach for 2 weeks from 9th-23rd April. The main purpose of this trip was to get married. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with drinks and nibbles and made to feel really welcome. Nicole the wedding co-ordinator at the hotel met us and was on hand throughout our stay if there was anything at all we needed. Even though there were a few weddings each week you was made to feel individual.
All the staff at the hotel were really friendly, the bar staff were very attentive and I was never with an empty glass for long! The food was fantastic, there was always something for all tastes. I must make a special mention to the animation team who were brilliant, not always an easy job to get people involved but so glad I did as got to meet some lovely people. The entertainment as a whole was great. My daughter really enjoyed going to kids club and the mini disco.
The rooms were comfortable and we had a great sea view. The hotel was in a good location on the beach front with a nice walk to the harbour.
Thoroughly enjoyed my holiday there and cannot wait to go back.

This was a return visit (last reviewed Sept 2010) on an all-inclusive basis, again for a family wedding (my daughter`s), this time the wedding was actually conducted in the Imperial Beach and what a fabulous job they did. In general, the rooms have improved, the service and friendliness remain 1st class, the food is very good for all-inclusive and the grounds are beautiful. Our whole wedding party of 12 adults and one babe in arms stayed at the hotel, some for a fortnight, others just for the week of the wedding. Personally, our experience was excellent, one or two had issues with their allocated rooms and an antiquated system of charging for room safes. As this is my review, my only complaint would be the poor quality of some of the local alcoholic drinks (wine, brandy, whisky etc.). The addition of an alternative restaurant `The Mura` is a nice touch and we had an excellent experience in there, including, dare I say, better quality wines!
The wedding organisers were absolutely brilliant and the whole occasion went without a hitch. For anyone considering getting married there I would strongly recommend opting for a private wedding breakfast on the decking by the pool. Yes it is a little more expensive but we had the best time - we selected our own menu and I have to say all four/five courses and the private waiter service was exceptional. From 6.30pm onwards the area was ours to wine, dine, make speeches and dance the night away. We were all very pleasantly surprised and delighted by the quality.
Well done Louis Imperial in Paphos, you helped to make the wedding day of my daughter and son-in-law a most memorable occasion. I hope that we can return sometime soon, maybe for an anniversary ??

Room Tip: Obviously the rooms overlooking the pool and the sea have most to offer but many of the `side` rooms...

Just spent another fabulous 2 weeks at this hotel our 5 th visit. Staff make this hotel great, lovely manners and many remember you from year to year.
The refurbished rooms are lovely very light and calming colour scheme. Food as usual was very good, plenty of selection and always hot.
Weather was perfect. Only problem we had was probably beyond the hotels jurisdiction, the beach at the hotel next door was cleaned every morning by mechanical digger as early as 06.45am one day usually 07.15am, so we were woken every day including Sunday. Mentioned to Manager and next day it was 08.00am but this did not last next day back to 07.00am. In April we have yet to see anyone on this beach at all!!!
We will still be back next year have already booked for 3 weeks, so see everyone in 2015.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.
