“Relaxing and quiet holiday”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

Stayed July for 10 nights. Reception very welcoming along with sparkling wine. Upgraded to a junior suite which was a surprise. Plenty of room in suite with beautiful views over the pool and sea. Only negative about the room was that bathrooms are looking rather dated and tired. Flambé night was superb. Italian was also nice but very quiet with only three other tables occupied. Buffet restaurant good but maybe a little limited on choices. Would be helpful if signs were placed on the desert section to help in identifying what each item is. Disappointed with 'beach'. Very rocky. Having been upgraded we were able to use one of the private cabanas but due to the distance from the pool and bar we decided not to use it. It was also on the edge of the grounds with everyone walking by on the coastal footpath - not happy to leave our belongings whilst we went for a swim hence another reason for not using it. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Don't like to single out any particular staff member as they were all excellent in their own area of work. There is entertainment every evening but unfortunately not many guests to support and create an atmosphere. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, no music blaring out by the pool. Sun beds have lots of space around them so didn't feel guilty in moving beds around. There was always someone to chat to if you wanted to, but also quiet areas if that is your preference.

The best hotel I have visited. Sun beds are still available in mid afternoon, unheard of in many hotels. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is very good. The rooms are also very good with wine and fruit on arrival, and tea/coffee making facilities. Housekeeping is excellent with changes of linen and towels frequently. I cannot fault any aspect of this hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally good.

A fabulous hotel in a very convenient location for great bars, restaurants and a lovely stroll into Paphos centre and harbour.
A very relaxing hotel for couples only, lovely gardens and swimming pool area leading down to the sea and coastal path.

The staff were very efficient and friendly, especially the cleaning staff who did a great job and greeted you each morning with a smile and pleasant conversation. The breakfast was excellent - spoilt for choice but can recommend the freshly made crepes and fresh fruits.

Would definatey return to this resort as when I returned home actually felt like I had been on holiday.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms definitely worth the extra.

My husband and returned home on the 12th July after a two week stay at this brilliant hotel, being our 4th visit. This place is idyllic, and is ideal for those wanting good food, peace and quiet and good service. We always stay on a B&B basis as there are lots of lovely restaurants to enjoy in the evening and every time we've been always find somewhere new to eat. The hotel itself is as always very well run and nothing is too much trouble. The manager takes an active part in making sure everything runs smoothly and you often see him on his daily rounds checking everything is up to standard, even down to checking the first aid box is well stocked around the pools. If you can't find anything you like to eat at breakfast then you are extremely hard to please, there is everything you can possibly think of. An earlier review commented the rooms are looking a bit tired now, and I would agree, although they are always kept spotlessly clean. The prices are the bar are far too high, if they reduced them a little I'm sure a lot more people would use it, but that's the norm for hotels eh at home and abroad. Repeat guests return to this hotel year after year, it was lovely to see the guys from Plymouth and Luton again (they know who they are) and make new friends from Cambridge, not to forget my husbands new best buddy from Chesterfield (and his wife) my husband got on like a house on fire with him. This hotel is simply the best and we've never found anything else to match it. So if your thinking about booking this hotel - get it booked you'll love it. We love it so much we have just booked to go back on the 4th July next year for two weeks - can wait. So well done to the Manager and all the staff at the ARB - see you next year.

Room Tip: We have always upgraded to a sea view room and would recommend this.,

Once again we had a lovely holiday in this particularly well managed hotel. The Manager is very available but discreet, very professional. The cheery Restaurant Manager is always courteous and helpful - e.g. food allergies/sensitivities, let him know & you will be well catered for. Staff are all very helpful, friendly and hard-working. The hotel and grounds are kept very clean, tidy and in pristine order.
It is a relatively small hotel and has an intimate, calm and friendly atmosphere - perfect for a truly relaxing holiday.
Back in September for some more luxury!!

we arrived at arb on 9 july 2014 paid top whack superior sea view with premium all inclusive. given a room with sea view overlooking the rooms of next door hotel. !!! not happy no other rooms available until 12 july 2014 did not u pack the cases, then moved over the corridor with the view we were expecting from their website to start our holiday. now here we r 10 days later hoping for a late check out of our room as per the info sheet for superior rooms at 6.00 pm (subject to availability)on 20th only to be advised we need to be out of our room by 9 am on 20.7.14 hold on we only arrived at 4.30 on 9th? . is courtesy not a two way module? they couldn't/wouldnt accommodate us until 4 days after we arrived and they want us out of a room which is ours until noon i dont think so, and we have refused to move until noon my advice to anyone booking is please read the small print carefully before booking with this hotel to avoid massive disappointment. no doubt we will end up without a room from midday tomorrow after my comments this evening, other than our cabana which is ours until 4.30pm and i fully intend to use it .

Room Tip: we were allocated 2254 on arrival avoid like the plague dark dreary and overlooking next doors hotel...
