as the title says we love Avanti, both the village where we stay and the hotel where we call most nights for a drink.
this year was as good as ever with a couple of things even better - these being the excellent events team around the pool during the day ( great to meet you AJ and PETRA ) and the meals served around the pool during the day both for choice and value.
Rooms were as clean as usual and comfy with clean bedding and towels.
All the staff were very friendly, always helpful and the management team were always there to take time out to ask if you where enjoying you stay etc...
Already booked for next year --- see you in July 2014.

Room Tip: upper apartments are better.

Spent 7 nights @ the Avanti Village in late October,we were a party of 2 adults and 3 children. From start to finish it was fantastic!! We arrived late at night and we were checked in straight away. Getting to our apartment was fun!! The apartment was large, the bedroom had a double bed, the sitting room had 2 sofa beds and we had 1 extra childs bed. The kitchen has all you will need.. Very easy getting sun loungers around the pool as there were plenty, and they supply beach towels which is a bonus! Breakfast was good and there was always plenty of choice, fruit, cakes, cheese, meats and then the fry-up. Food was always plentyful and hot. Entertainment at the main hotel was great, we really enjoy it! As always the kids loved the kids disco, we even won afew quid at bingo. The entertainment team were brillant. Plenty of places to eat around. You can walk to the habour in about 20 minutes and there are plent of shops and resturants to eat in.
Overall I think this is a fantastic place for a family to enjoy their holiday, our children made friends on the 2nd day and we hardly saw them for the rest of the week (another bonus!!) and for the price we paid, needless to say we will be returning, and would have no problem recommending this place to friends and family.

I chose this hotel because of its trip advisor rating and it was better! Large airy rooms, excellent service, staff very friendly & helpful always smiling, plenty of people as it was the UK October school holidays but never seemed busy and always sunbeds available and tables for breakfast. Breakfast very nice but I liked the omelette better at the hotel restaurant rather than the village but both very good. My first time in Pafos and if I return, I would definitely go back to this hotel.
Very quiet location to the south of Pafos town centre, only a ten minute stroll away with plenty of restaurants on the doorstep. All restaurants on site very nice but a little pricy but ten minutes away brilliant restaurants like the Adelaida do a 25 Euro deal for a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine for 2!
The only real issues I had were a nonsense one that the pool was colder than the sea and the relatively large charge to keep my room on the last day as I had an evening flight.
A really great place to stay.

Room Tip: In the village there are 2 level blocks of 2 or 4 apartments. I would always choose one on the 1st floor and on the edge of the complex so you get a view rather than just looking at another apartment.

Avanti village was all we could wish for, friendly staff, lovely position, great food, 3 family pools somewhere we will return to again and would recommend to all our friends. We stayed during half term when we had plenty of space around the pool, food in the plenty and plenty to do. Not the place for anyone worried about the waistline, as portions were large and everything came with chips!! The village was only a small walk from the seaside so we had the pools and the beaches as well, perfect!! Apartments had all we could ask for even a hair dryer and was cleaned everyday, fully equipped so you could cook for yourself or just make a sandwich in the evening. Avanti village was perfectly situated only the outskirts of Kato Paphos, so away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for a 15 min walk down the main road or a 25 min coast walk admiring the views to the harbour and all it's small bars and history - with lots to see and do. Loads of restaurants close by to meet every culinary taste and price range or just have a drink and no one is in a hurry to ask you to leave. I can't praise the Avanti Village highly enough - just say we all wish we were still there and really looking forward to returning again.

We had a week-long break at the avanti village in October. The week we chose was school half-term so it was mainly familys with young children. This did not spoil our holiday, there were plenty of sunbeds to go around. All the reception staff that we came into contact with were lovely, they couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms and all the outside areas were spotless. We did try the pool a couple of times but as inviting as it looked it was really cold! Whilst there we tried a couple of the restaurants on site and were very pleased with the food. We had our 16year old granddaughter with us and thought there wasn't much by way of entertainment in the evenings and Paphos town was a bus ride away. Maybe it was the end of the season. All in all we went for a relaxing holiday and that was just what we got.

Room Tip: Choose an upstairs room if possible as the downstairs patios are very shaded. Ask to be near the pool although nowhere on site is miles from the shop, restaurants, pool or reception.
