This is a good place to stay if you can't find accommodation in latchi or polis, or if you consider accommodation in those places overpriced. The place is clean and well kept and rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. This is agro-tourism so don't expect too many luxuries but the place does have a swimming pool and even offers dinner (which we did not try however). Breakfast is rather basic but decent. Being only 10-15 drive from latchi it is definitely a really good option to consider

We booked this place online for two nights, and when we arrived we found the atmosphere really unpleasant. There were several reasons, and so even though we have a small baby and it was 7pm we risked leaving to find somewhere else to stay. We had to pay for both nights, but it we felt it was worth it. After reading the reviews here, I am glad that we left and enjoyed the rest of our holiday in a humble but welcoming hotel that we found further north.

Very dirty rooms and pool. We told them about how dorty it was but the staff was so arrogant and the answer was that we are very pretentious. Disguasting toilets and bathroom. Inside the pool we could find bees, plastc glasses and other things every morning.

In the past well- we have been there 2006, 2008 and 2010 - now on june 4th 2012 absolute desaster. Obviously long ago pree-cooked food, not fresh any more. Improper location, unkempt staff. Despite complaining about the food, we had to pay full price. Any apologice from the waitress. Never again!!!

I am a fan of the Akamas/Polis area and stayed to several agrotourism hotels, never in this small but beautiful village before.
We stayed in Amarakos for 2 nights (75e per night for a double bedroom, breakfast excluded). The location is good and the beds comfortable. The owner welcomed us warmly and we thought that this was some kind of a good start, but...
From the first night we had problems - no hot water. We told them and they said that they would check it and fix it. The second night still no hot water. When leaving we told the owner that it is unacceptable to charge people 75e just for sleeping there and not providing hot water properly. However, not only we were charged the full price but also 6,50 for some coffees and lemonade we had!
I've been a fan of agrotourism for ages, especially in Cyprus, and you can find much more beautiful and worth the money places to stay in Cy -trust me!- where you can actually experience Cyprus hospitality.
