This was our second visit to the Capital Coast and we will definitely return. This hotel has an attractive and welcoming reception area with efficient and helpful staff. The hotel is immaculately clean and the rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped. We stayed in an executive suite and had gorgeous views of the pool and sea. The price of the holiday was very reasonable and within the hotel the bar and shop are competitively priced.
We stayed half board and found the food to be good with a decent selection - our son is 4 and thankfully there was no sign of the obligatory 'kids selection' of nuggets/fish fingers etc. We also ate out at a few of the local restaurants which were very good and on these days we swapped our evening meal for lunch at the pool.
The staff at the hotel were really friendly, particularly the restaurant staff, they were always welcoming and hospitable and created a relaxed atmosphere for their customers.
The pool area is large and clean, there are always lots of beds and quite well spaced out too so you're never too close with your neighbours and even if you go to the pool mid afternoon there is plenty of space. Past the pool area is a grassy area which leads onto a rocky beach just right for little chaps to have a scramble on while they're waiting for pirates or mermaids to show up!! A nice chilled holiday.

Room Tip: We asked for a high room with a pool/sea view and this was exactly what we got. The balcony got the late afternoon sun.

I spend one week in this hotel with my husband in June. I read lots of reviews of this hotel and upgraded twice our room upon these reviews and that was the right choice. We stayed in an executive suite with a large terrace and our own jacuzzi on the terrace. We found it quite luxurious to have some cold drinks sitting in the jacuzzi looking the sun set over the sea. Our suite was very well equipped and spacious. It was also very clean and we had two televisions with many foreign channels.
The hotel offers you free airport transfer from and to Pafos airport, which we found also very comfortable. There is a minimarket in this hotel and I found there many nice and affordable sunclothes. There is a Lidl market also very near, if you like to get your food and beverage very cheap.
I think this hotel is excellent for all those who want to relax an enjoy the nice climate. There is also a spa in this hotel. I had my fingernails done there and I think the price was reasonable and the whole treatment was also very relaxing.
I would certainly stay again in this hotel and choose the executive suite again. The seaview is certainly worth paying a little bit more.

We have just returned from a week at Capital Coast from 14-21 June. The hotel and accommodation was fine. Everywhere was clean and tidy and members of staff very friendly and helpful.
The only downsides we would comment on - food was not brilliant. There was always something to find to eat at breakfast but sadly the evening choice was not good. Although we were half board we chose to eat out in the evenings due to the poor quality of food.
The second issue was not the hotels fault but the roads and footpaths outside the hotel are being upgraded so if you like to walk - which we do, it was too tricky and dangerous as the paths were just stones, waiting for the top coat to go on which made walking with sandals or flip flops very uncomfortable and also with the big machinery in or on the road it was not too clever to walk anywhere but the bus service was very good.

Room Tip: We had an executive suite overlooking the sea on the third floor.

I'll echo a fellow TA reviewer's sentiments - if you're looking for a 'fly and flop' holiday, this hotel is fine. It has beautiful sea views, good cleanliness, large rooms, good location and ample (in April) sunbeds / loungers, all facing the sea or the pool. There are a couple of nice enough restaurants and bars across the road, and the bus leaves for the Harbour just outside, every fifteen minutes which is very handy.

There's something a little odd about this hotel though, and I think I know why, having read that they may have been intended as time-share rooms instead of a hotel, per se. Maintenance is poor. For example, I reached out to hold onto a bannister on the third floor stairs and it came apart, clattering three floors down to the ground. Luckily there was no one standing below....

Also, the staff are not the average hospitality providers. They perform their jobs....just. There's no effort whatsoever to ensure the customer / guest actually has a nice time. Take this for example: all week before we travelled we tried to upgrade (happy to pay the €30 p/n), but were told it was too far in advance. Then when we arrived, were told it was too late. Bizarre. There is also no room service, only every-second-day cleaning (they don't 'do' the kitchenettes at all) and not so much as a vending machine available for their very many customers arriving on late flights. (Stop at Boots in the airport and buy sambos!)

As it turns out, we're actually thrilled we couldn't upgrade as we needed the money for food instead. Part of our Secret Escapes package was half board but good God, whatever you do don't repeat our mistake. On holiday we're not fussy, we'll pretty much eat anything. Except this.

In the morning, messy queues, tinned fruit and an overwhelming stench of used grease and burnt toast mostly kept us away from breakfast. But the evenings were much, much worse. Great big steaming tureens of slop were heaved onto food-splattered tables, all allegedly different dishes such as stifado / bourguignon / pork stew, etc. It was utterly inedible, and by day three we had abandoned the whole idea of eating in the hotel's restaurant and instead cooked our own food with groceries from Lidl or caught the bus to the Harbour and dined in some lovely restaurants in there.

Yes, you've read that right - we actually preferred to pay for meals outside the hotel than eat the ones we had already paid for in the hotel. We're far from wealthy, but it was that bad.

The staff are for the most part fairly affable except for a rude and unhelpful man named - oh the irony! - Achilles. We sought to avoid him at all costs.

In all, if you need a quick, affordable break, and value a good sea view and access to shops, restaurants, etc., this is good hotel. Just don't eat their food.

I'll leave with you this thought. In every single hotel in every corner of the world, the concierge / receptionist always, always asks did you enjoy your stay when you're checking out. That didn't happen at the Capital Coast. My bet is they don't ask, because they know they're not going to like the answer.

Room Tip: Great space in the suites - make sure you're facing the pool or the sea though, the other option is a dusty highway and construction works!

5th year here, 5th great holiday!

If you want 5 star friendly service, good & plentiful food, clean as your own home cleanliness Capital Coast is where you want to go. Splendid pool area (3 pools), well stocked pool bar (both for drinking & eating). 5 minute walk to loads of bars and restaurants, 10 minutes bus ride to Paphos harbour for more lovely restaurants, bars, watersports & world heritage sites (buses every 15 mins €1.50). 45 minutes walk along the coastal path to the harbour.

Recommend room 4111, 10mx20m roof terrace, whirlpool, privacy, enormous lounge, 50" plasma, 2 walkin shower rooms and great seaviews.

Thanks again Capital Coast, see you next year

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the pool bar side, you'll get magnificent sunsets
