Me and my boyfriend were looking for somewhere special to spend our five year anniversary and capital coast was just that. We arrived late on a Tuesday evening to be greeted by a lovely receptionist (can't remember her name) but she was very friendly and as we were half board and had missed dinner that evening, she gave us a complimentary lunch voucher which came in very handy! We couldn't wait to get to our room so we rushed through the lobby which is gorgeous by the way. Full of excitement we reached our room and just from walking through the door we were both very impressed!!! We had paid a little extra for a sea-view suite but it was worth every single penny! The bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage, we had a lovely bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and two sinks plus an extra toilet just next door! We also had an open plan kitchenette in the living room which was again a great size and very modern. Not to mention the balcony that not only had a nice table & chairs but also a Jacuzzi! We couldn't stop taking pictures to show everybody back at home. I also sent an email to the resort before arrival to see if they could do anything special for me and my boyfriend and to our surprise we had a bottle of Champagne waiting in our fridge with two champagne glasses on the table in our room!
Breakfast and dinner both very nice, great food and a variety of choice every morning/evening. All staff in the restaurant were very friendly throughout our whole stay and nothing was ever too much hassle for them. Spa/pool facilities at the hotel are also very good - 2 pools outside along with plenty of sun beds for everybody to get a chance to have a nice relaxing morning/afternoon by the pool, also a very good sized pool and Jacuzzi inside for those who would like a little more privacy!
Overall we were very happy with our stay and at the moment we have the Cyprus blues *sad face* but we hope that one day soon we will be able to return, not only Cyprus but also to capital coast 10/10 for everything - we left feeling relaxed and revitalised! We hope to see you all again one day.. Thank you very much for an outstanding stay!!!!!!

Room Tip: If you have the extra money book a superior suite!

Stayed there from 10-13 July.
Hotel is big and clean but needs maintenance.
Suites (appartments) are spacious and are equipped with everything a family needs for its stay. 2 TVs, ensuite bedroom and an extra bathroom with shower, big veranda.
Room towels are changed every 3 days. Beach towels every two days. Paid wifi €3 per day/
Breakfast was very mediocre, although the variety of food offered is satisfactory.
Pool bar is OK.
The Spa and gym facilities are great.
Hotel is on the coast, but there is no beach, since the coast near the hotel is rocky. There are big swimming pools and a lot of space for sunbeds and umbrellas as well as beach games (beach volley etc)

Room Tip: Rooms not facing the pool are quieter during day time.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week. We arrived late on the Sunday. On the Monday we spent the day by the pool. It was here that we had our bag stolen from off our sunbed whilst we were in the pool. Luckily we saw who had taken it and confronted them. We had to try and deal with this ourselves. There was no security around the pool and reception staff took about 15 mins to come to help us. It could have ruined our holiday- luckily it didnt.

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks at the beginning of June and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are spotless and regularly cleaned. The suites are big and it was a surprise to have two loos, but came in quite handy on a morning!

Our check-in was late at night but fine. Only niggle was that the receptionist was in the middle of dealing with us and took quite a long telephone call which was a bit irritating as we'd had a long day and wanted to get to our room.

We stayed on a self catering basis as we prefer this, and the kitchen was excellent. The only small issue, but we managed, was the pans were very big and there weren't many serving utensils. On our first day, we found that the fridge wasn't very cold and it was exchanged within a few minutes of raising it with reception, which was excellent service. We had the breakfast buffet on our last day and there was plenty of choice. We also had an evening buffet one night and it was OK - plenty of choice but prefer our usual choice of meals.

On-site shop didn't have a huge food choice, but there are plenty of shops nearby, including a Lidl, almost opposite. However, the clothes and souvenirs were well prices and a good choice.

We'd certainly stay again and enjoyed our two weeks.

WiFi was available but we had to pay for it. It would be good if this could be included in the price.

Room Tip: Go for a room with a balcony and we had a sea view which was lovely.

Our 2nd stay at this hotel was disappointing, moody staff ,breakfast was terrible. The rooms are very nice and big. The hotel is very close to town which is great. The pools were nice and big but needs cleaning everyday as there were debris from the day before in the baby pool.

This is an odd place.....the rooms are excellent, quality fittings, spacious, you feel like you are in a 4/5 star establishment....until you step outside the room.
Lots of areas are not finished from the reception of the health club that looks like a set out of a ghost town, to the roof top bar that is not there! The hallways feel like you are in a deserted building, we went when things were not that busy probably 60% occupancy and had to wait long periods to get a lift so used the stairs most of the time. The food was slow to be replenished in the restaurant and they ran out of vanilla ice cream. As someone else has stated there are 4 lift shafts and 2 lifts, nothing is finished! It feels like the carpets and trimmings are being delivered any time to be fitted!
The outside area next to the restaurant is a lovely area but they don’t put the cushions out till late morning so you can’t take a coffee or juice and relax after breakfast ....staffing levels seem very low, just enough to keep things going.
The indoor spa area is nice but again naked of any dressing and the pool is great but they take the cushions off you even though the sun is still out as “it’s time” to put them away so you have to sit on the lounge chairs without cushions if you wish to stay by the pool ?
The breakfast was good but the evening meals were awful, the service was awful many of the staff did not smile and did not care if you had a complaint
If you can get a B&B deal at this hotel and use it as a base then take it but if you want a hotel to relax in and feel some 4/5 start pampering then this is not the hotel !

Room Tip: all rooms looked good but get a low floor as the lifts never come! take the stairs
