We are a family of 4 and stayed in the hotel in September 2011 for a week.
The hotel is just 10 minutes away on foot outside the main village square so is very quiet and the scenery is great, the hotel is in the middle of the forest surrounded by tall pine trees!
Our 2 rooms were in a very good condition, they looked renovated and furniture and beds were new and comfortable.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave us free maps of the area and explained to us how to get to the hiking trails which were amazing!
The breakfast was a bit limited but for a 1 star hotel and for the price was ok and everything was fresh.
We also asked if we could get lunch there (as the prices in the local restaurants were a bit expensive) and the landlady offered us several choices but we had to order from the day before, even though this was a bit odd for us, the meals were great, home made and authentic, we even got free salad, bread and fruit with every meal and the prices very low compared to the local restaurants.
We paid 100 euro per night for 2 double rooms with breakfast so not bad.
We highly recommend this hotel and the area for nice family vacation and for people who want to see cultural things (churches and monasteries) and just great green forest scenery.
