We visit this restaurant every time we come to Cyprus, as it's always value for money and lisa's dad is always jolly and give you plenty of fruit to eat and take away. A place to see great Cyprus sunsets

Popped in for an early evening meal after Easter and it was a good experience - simple food, presented nicely with a jolly good salad to boot. Nothing spectacular but served with a smile and that means quite a lot nowadays!

If you are looking for fine dining, this isn’t the place. What it does offer though is simple, good Cypriot food in a relaxed setting with seating inside or out on the large patio areas. Open all day for either food or just drinks – the patio can be a nice sun trap. Price wise, it’s very reasonable compared to others in the area. Recommend the kebab platters (various fillings) which come with pitta, fries and salad with dishes of very tasty olives and Tzaziki on the side. You will likely get some complimentary fruit when you’ve finished your meal. Location wise, it’s on the Polis to Pomos coast road and just across the road from the sea. There’s a large car park at the rear which isn’t very obvious. Service is friendly and the Dad is a bit of a character! Nice place to chill for an inexpensive meal/drinks watching the swallows nesting in the rafters. Worth a visit.

Liza's Place perhaps "under-sells" itself by its name. It's by no means just a drop-in wayside cafe and souvlaki joint (which is what the name makes it sound like, to me). In reality it's an immaculately-run small restaurant offering excellent Cypriot food at prices that are decidedly good value (well below what you'd pay in Polis). There's an extensive glass-fronted patio that must be lovely to sit in during Summer (we visited in March). Service is smart and attentive, while at the same time the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly without being intrusive. And you can see and hear the sea breakers coming in just across the road!

Visited this restaurant twice last summer, once for dinner and again for coffee and lunch on our departure date. Whilst the menu is not of a Michelin star standard, everything my family had on both occasions was very tasty, well cooked and excellent value for money. Liza's father giving us free fruit and the nesting swallows were an added bonus. We shall be visiting Cyprus again this summer and will definitely re-visit this restaurant.
