We were on our way to buy a cheap lunchtime snack at the market, but it was cold and wet and as we passed this bistrot it looked busy and inviting. Yes it is possible to eat well at a sensible price in Monaco! We understand that this restaurant has recently changed hands; the decor is clearly new - tasteful and modern. The fixed price lunch menu of the day gave a sensible choice, and the food was well prepared and presented with care. The atmosphere was informal as befits a bistro and staff were friendly and helpful - no language problem. We noted that the service was quick and efficient and there were clearly many local business people taking advantage; good too if you have limited time sightseeing, but equally we were not rushed and enjoyed the comfort until a little sun broke through over coffee!
