Wonderfull architecture, nice location very close to the famous Fairmont Hairpin. And if you like to look at expensive cars, there's alot outside. The inside is disepointing when you have seen the outside. Simple as that.

“Below average”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

We called Casino de Monte Carlo to make sure that we fulfilled the dresscode, since we had a 1,5 hour drive to get there. We were told that the dresscode was t-shirts and shorts for men, and a decent dress or alike for women. Since he didn't exactly spoke fluently english, I repeated the dresscode and he confirmed.
When we arrived at the Casino after eating dinner, we were refused entrance because of our shorts. Turns out you can enter with shorts untill 20.00 o'Clock - he just forgot to mention when we called.
I tried to explain the situation and even showed the security that we have called but he just refused us.

No service and top arrogance !

Just Wow! Absolutely beautiful building. Nothing but class inside and out. Check out the fabulously over the top vehicles parked out front then head on in to see a really classy casino. This is a great place but definitely for those (not me) who can afford go go large when it comes to gambling. Definitely go in to check it out, but if you want to gamble head to one of the other casinos nearby. Tip for first timers: the drinks at all the casinos are very expensive so if you plan to have a big night it is actually worth putting some money down on the tables. All gamblers drink for free. As long as you have money on the table (and maybe slip a small tip or two to a waiter) he will bring drinks on the house. Regular drinks are anywhere between around 8€ and 25€ so it can be worth it if you would like to have a few, with the added bonus of maybe winning a little on the side ;). Some of the minimums on the tables can be very high so just check the limits with the croupier first. Happy hunting!

“An early evening in the Casino...”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

The Casino was magnificent in it's architecture and interior design. There was a initial entry fee - cash only - but once inside you were free to wander and take-in the gambling action and the fashion show on the floor....We were too early to really see any action but enjoyed a very small and expensive drink while stitting at the bar. We are not gamblers but enjoyed our roles as voyeurs, leaving before midnight. I think we missed all the real action!!

“Must see once”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Was nice to see the casino and the area around the square. We did not enter as we there too early in the day. This is not a place that I would be that interested in returning too.
