“Trip of a lifetime”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2013

We were fortunate to spend 3 nights at the hotel over the weekend of 28-30 June 2013. The hotel is beautifully laid out and catered for our every need. The facilities and food are spectacularly good complemented of course by the views from the terrace and weather.
All amenites are close by with only a short walk to Casino Square and the Cafe de Paris.
A stunning stay.

My wife & I had the pleasure of staying at the Hermitage for three evenings. I rate hotels based on three criterion:
1. Location - The Hermitage was very close to the casino square without all the gawkers, commotion, and noise.
2. Facilities - The hotel was meticulously maintained. Our room, a junior suite, was absolutely wonderful, combining the character of old world charm, with modern technology.
3. Service - Everyone we met, from the front desk, to the housekeeper were friendly, and could not do enough to make certain you were pleased.
In addition, their breakfast was unbelievably fresh, and included so many delicious items. I also swam in their salt water pool.
It was again, a great, relaxing experience.
Yes, The Hermitage is the definition of what a true, world class hotel should be like.

Spectacular, the only place to stay in Monte Carlo! Nothing is to much hassle for the incredibly attentive and polite staff. Forget the Hotel De Paris, this is opulence and elegance combined sumptuously..

We stayed here for a long weekend and I have to say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The room was huge and had a stunning view over the harbour. Towels, bathrobes and toiletries were changed every day and rooms were always spotlessly cleaned. The best thing though was the level of service, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, for example my wife has special dietary requirements and when she asked for a certain type of yoghurt and gluten free bread for breakfast on the first day, the request was fulfilled on every subsequent day.

This hotel costs a fortune, but where else are you going to get the five-star experience?
Highly attentive service, nothing is a problem.
Bear in mind it's a big place and very busy - if you are looking for an intimate hideaway place for a quiet weekend, this is probably not for you.
Comedy prices for food and drink just add to the rarefied atmosphere.

This hotel is definitely 5 star. The service is excellent the hotel is immaculate and I was surprised at how large the room was for a European hotel. also, it is in a great location. Hotel is Pricey but worth it! I am used to American hotels and this has all the comforts of one. The buffet breakfast is exceptiomal. other than breakfast I would eat outside of the hotel since there are so many options with better prices.

Just returned from a long weekend in Monte Carlo staying at the Hermitage. This a gem of a hotel, very luxurious and a level of quality many hotels should aspire to. Very attentive and helpful and warming staff handle every thing you could possibly need. It's the best hotel I have stayed in. Great spa facilities too albeit it would be nice to have a hot tub. Your room card also doubles as a credit card if you need to purchase things in town and the main Casio. You can also gain access to the private gambling rooms in the main Casio as guest of the Hermitage.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Casio square and an easy 10 minute walk to the marina and downtown Monaco taking in the sights as you go.

We had an Airport transfer to Nice via Helicopter which can be organised through the hotel via Heli Air Monaco. Takes 7 minutes to fly and you will be collected from the hotel to the helipad and that takes about 10 minutes.

I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the marina.
